Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Das personal war sehr aufmerksam

Das Haus wurde vor einigen Jahren komplett renoviert und das merkt man auch. Sehr sauber und „modern“, hat es seinen imposanten Eindruck erhalten.

Das Frühstücksbuffett war reichhaltig aber leider auch sehr für mehrheitlich indische Gäste ausgelegt. Die Auswahl an Käse war schon gering, an Wurstwaren war sie aber nicht existent. Sehr schade, das neben der Vielzahl sowas scheinbar triviales wie Wurst bis auf eine fehlt. Das Abendbuffet und a la carte war gut. Leider war das letzte Abendbuffer nicht gut. Die Speisen waren hier kaum noch lauwarm (und wir waren hier direkt zum Anfang gekommen), das Hühnchen völlig trocken und das Pasta Gericht hat nach nichts anderem als Knoblauch geschmeckt. Das war leider am letzten Abend nicht das was man vom sharaton erwartet und erwarten darf und hat den Eindruck leider nochmal getrübt.

Keine Empfehlung!

Die poollandschaft und das Frühstück waren sehr schön!

Wir haben auf unserer Rundreise durch den Oman das sheraton hotel als letzten stop gebucht. Wir wollten zwei Tage nochmal richtig entspannen und uns erholen. Wir haben auch extra ein delux Zimmer gebucht, damit wir ein großes Bett, Zimmer und einfach mehr Komfort bekommen. Die Ankunft im Hotel war herzlich, unser Zimmer auf den ersten Blick auch schön (3stock). Leider hat sich abends herausgestellt, dass unser Bett eine reine Katastrophe war. Kaum haben wir uns auf das Bett gesetzt, hat es überall geknarrt und es hörte sich an als ob das ganze Bett aus Plastik bestünde. Zudem hat man den Aufzug gehört und die Autobahn. Wir haben also abends um 23 Uhr bei der Rezeption um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten. Nach 2 Stunden hieß es, das Hotel sei ausgebucht und wir könnten erst am nächsten Tag ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Nach einer kurzen und bescheidenen Nacht haben wir am nächsten Tag mit dem Hoteldirektor gesprochen, der uns die Exekutive Suite anbot sowie einen late check out (der für uns aber keinen Sinn machte, da wir das hotel morgens verlassen mussten). Die letzte Nacht war sehr erholsam in der Suite, allerdings waren wir immernoch verärgert dass man in einem 5 Sterne Hotel keine schnellere Lösung zur Hand hatte. Ich war zum Zeitpunkt der Reise im 5 Monate schwanger, habe mit Übelkeit und Erbrechen zu kämpfen und ich brauche meinen schlaf. Wir würden das shareton hotel nicht empfehlen und wir werden auch auf zukünftigen reisen kein shareton hotel buchen! Schade eigentlich, denn das Frühstück und die poollandschaft waren spitze. Beim Abendessen gibt es eine große Auswahl, wobei das Buffet im Hotel ebenfalls keine 5 Sterne verdient hat.

If you look for a brand name, this is no more a Sheraton!!

The gym was excellent, the overall shape of the rooms and lobby and restaurant are acceptable, the housekeeping was very good as well with nice expatriate staff mainly nice Indian boy such as Meraj

The garden was small, the swimming pool was very shallow (1.2 m) and no separate swimming pool for kids and full of kids and families and no place for a real swimming! Also full of women who were diving and swimming with black veil and hijab !!!! No dress code for swimming!! The bathroom was old and washing bowel broken and floors stained with broken ceramics; one worst thing of all was replacement of all receptionist and guest reception and guards with locals with absolutely no information and or training to work for a 5 star hotel like this and trying to change the international standard of the Sheraton to very low local standard and even worse with no knowledge and proper training to do that as well. To summarize, no more a Sheraton brand!!!

Sehr gutes, preislich vernünftiges Hotel in guter Lage und mit schönem Pool um den Oman zu erkunden.

Frühstück sehr gut, Halbpension eher mäßig. Große Zimmer, gutes Bett. Sauber. Gute Klimaanlage, aber Fenster nicht zu öffnen.

Poolboy, der sich gut um die Liegen kümmerte, aber der (Getränke-)Service war nicht aktiv.

Nice hotel a little far out from main center most staff lovely

Nice sized rooms but a little dated shower above the bath not a walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent lots of choices however at £16 per person price was a little steep Restaurant menus where fine and fairly priced Outside pool was lovely Inside pool ok good gym facilities Checking in staff and restaurant staff where very friendly however they did keep asking my daughters friend his room number assuming that because his skin was a different colour he was not part of our group. Check out was not a simple process and took over half an hour as their system said we owed another £100 eventuality admitted there was a fault in their system after trying to say it was the fault of the staff member who checked us in who had not charged us enough. I felt the member of staff checking us out was actually quite rude no apology offered for their mistake and left us with a disappointing experience to end our stay

Short but definitely memorable.

Dinner at Asado was superb! The most delicious short ribs I have ever tasted. The size, depth, and temperature of the pool are just perfect for my liking. I appreciate the receptionist who gave us a good deal to upgrade our package and provided us with a complimentary cake. Commendable service from the staff of Asado, Tea Library & Courtyard. Best of all, thanks to Gajendra from the Housekeeping Dept, who found my jewelry. Thank you for making our 13th wedding anniversary celebration memorable.

I have six month old baby and there were two people smoking at the pool area.

Bounker Palace Hotel étouffant à …. En fait cela pourrait être nul part.

La grandeur de la chambre . Son confort

L’emplacement ( banlieue sans intérêt) . Le côté très replié sur lui même de l’hôtel , peu ouvert vers l’extérieur, sentiment d’étouffer . Manque de charme . Hôtel de type aéroport qui se veut classe . Sa politique très centrée sur le fric : pas d’annulation possible, un Check In centré sur le fait qu’on doit payer vite vite . Pas agréable . Chambre disponible à partir de 15 h seulement le jeu de l’arrivée.

Blissful stay with lovely staff.

Everything was extremely well prepared and my stay was comfortable throughout. The staff in all areas were a delight. I had breakfast and dinner included and both the amount and variety of the food was exceptional. The facilities were great and I enjoyed both lounging by the pool and the gym offering, as well as downtime in the bedroom. Booking a tour of the Daminyat Islands through to concierge was also an easy process. Location was fine, easy to get to nice places like Muttrah, but you have to be prepared to use taxis regularly as opposed to finding things in easy walking distance. The Sheraton is well placed in this regard, as it is right next to a main highway.

I think the concierge can be improved as having just one person on the desk, with partly limited English, is not the most effective way to run the service. For example, I had to ask questions about alternative day trip experiences and there was ‘on the spot’ maths done to work out costs. Having a catalogue of experiences, showing their costs and reference imagery & details, would be an easy way to navigate language barriers and give easy information to travellers.

Not recommended. Washrooms have no shattaf.

The hotel has many facilities, restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a lot of parking space. Naseem at the reception and staff at the restaurant are courteous and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast has many options.

Its the first hotel in the GCC where there's no shattaf in the washrooms. After checkin, I was informed that 90% of the rooms are without a shattaf. It took them several hours, reminders, calls and several visits to the reception to change our room and I had just made up my mind to leave the hotel. The staff appears unnecessarily busy. Housekeeping appears lazy. Ask anything to the housekeeking, they will pass on the task to other person who in turn will keep passing to the other person appearing busy without helping. Valet parking team will only point direction to your car and request you to bring it yourself.

nice but it is a 4 star hotel

Location. Nice hotel but not 5 stars.....maximum 4 stars. the amenities are OK.

the staff is horrible. so much lack of professionalism i have not seen anywhere and for a 5 stars hotel is quite shameful. Please do something. I showed him that he charged me twice and he said it is not true laying in face, not a single apologize.

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to old Muscat and the souq (a car journey from both). It was very comfortable, had a good gym & sauna, and a lovely outdoor pool. We didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the quality or value of the food
