Visit your favorite Aunt and Uncle in Mazara.

First you are greeted by Angelo on his bike and lead to the parking space, before he hoists your suitcase on his bike and escorts you to the flat. Luciana then greets you with some refreshments and a detailed history of the city and also gives excellent tips. We had probably the best pizza in Italy, based on her suggestion. The place was large and well furnished. Like an apartment. It is in the center and all parts are walkable. It was like visiting a favorite aunt and uncle.

The only possible drawback is that many stairs were involved to get to the flat. If you have problems with steps (which would be fatal in Sicily) tell them Beforehand.

Very good

The hosts were so friendly and very well-informed about their town. I didn't know about Museo del Satiro Danzante and am so happy Luciana told us about it and we had time to visit. Mazara del Vallo is worth more than the one night we gave it. We also liked the washing machine! As touring cyclists, this is a feature second only to secure overnight storage for our bikes.

Comfortable stay in a historical heart of the city!

The host is a very helpful man, who even guided us on a bike via safe to drive narrow streets to our destination (different than GPS)! The whole location has a spacious interior courtyard with lounge areas filled with tropical plants from which separate living quarters spread out. Ours was upstairs with a sunny patio! Everything clean and comfortable. The incredible history of the place dates back to 1580! The farewell olive oil is delicious.

Unforgettable warm and help host & hostess beckons me back.

The Zaccaria are such warm and helpful host and hostess. I had left my jacket at the previous accommodation one and half hour drive away. They contacted the host followed with a lengthy conversation trying to help me find ways to retrieve my jacket. The next day, the hostess Luciana led me to visit the most interesting neighborhoods. I will never forget their warmth and hospitality.

Nothing. Their house is modest but everything works perfectly and the accommodation is very thoughtfully planned out and comfortable. All appliances work, the hot water shower was strong and continuous. The warmth and hospitality of the host and hostess made my stay unforgettable.

Top apartment in Mazara del Vallo

The apartment was beautiful and the Arab influence in the apartment's decorations was very strong and truly delightful. The hosts were amazing - they went above and beyond, to help us in every way. They made our trip extremely fulfilling and we cannot wait to stay there again! They deserve the highest praise for their thoughtfulness. The apartment is spacious and very well stocked. It is handy to all sights and is in a great location. A beautiful and memorable experience all round!

very comfortable interesting stay in Mazaro del Valo, perfect for self-catering and the fish market is close.

Full scale apartment, great for self-catering. Ours was at roof level with its own terrace. Absolutely charming owners who gave us a good history guide and also shared the excitement of sending their new green olive oil off to customers around Europe.

Nothing. It would have been difficult to find but Angelo met us on a bike and led us through the streets.

Super clean, spacious apartment in perfect location with wonderful hosts. Will definitely return.

The location was perfect and we could park our car right in front on the property for free. The hosts Angelo and Luciana were wonderful. They live in the building and were available to make recommendations and answer questions all the time.

Steps could be a problem for anyone who has mobility issues. We had no problem though. Breakfast is not served even though the property is described as a B & B. There are some packaged sweets left in the kitchen but we did not find them interesting as we tend to eat healthier food like fruit and yogurt. This was OK also because we had a kitchen and could take of this ourselves.

The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. The terrace was terrific

Our hosts, Angelo and Luciano, were warm and very helpful. Since they only longer serve breakfast, Angelo took us to a local “bar” and bought us breakfast. We loved this place.

Very kind, hospitable, and helpfull hosts. "Homely" apartment. To fellow world travellers: If you're looking for a place for a lenghty stay, this might be it!

The only problem with this place was that we couldn't take it with us for the rest of our "Giro de Sicilia" tour😘

Fantastic stay at Zaccaria

Angelo is such a great host. His place is fantastic with a beautiful inner court yard. When we arrived he gave us really good recommendations for restaurants and even let us taste his own home grown olive oil. We can only recommend to stay at his place!
