Restaurant poor did not have my first two choices on menu, Very loud and rowdy crowd so we had to squeeze into a corner. When meal was over had to sit out at reception. On checking out the following day mentioned this and staff member just said "You were lucky you were not here on New Years Eve" Unbelievable

A very comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection.
All staff were very friendly and attentive, we will be visiting and staying here again in the near future.

The temperature of the room was fine. Staff were friendly. It was quiet
It's incredibly run down.
The beds are uncomfortable and old. There was black mould in the bathroom. All of the fixtures in the bathroom were rusted.
The room was dusty and incredibly run down. Paint was cracking off the bedside tables.
Two lamps were missing bulbs.

The staff
Food was awful & way over priced. We went down for dinner at 6.20pm, and we're told we had to be out at 7.15pm, as there was a party, & they couldn't cater for hotel guests🫣.
There was a problem with my room on arrival, so they put me in an unfinished cabin out the front.
My son & partner had a mouse in their room. Maintenance called to room, but made no effort to get it.

Beautiful location, helpful and really friendly staff..Room was fresh and clean, fresh towels etc whenever we requested them..food was really good, especially the Carvery..nice cosy bar area and a bright and airy Restaurant..enjoyed our stay😊👍🏼
Loved the resident cat Fluffy❤he became our friend and had several fusses from us every day 🐈
There was a boxing event on,would of been nice if one of the staff had mentioned it,was very busy,so much so we stayed in our room that night, was very noisey as our room was at the front of the Hotel so we could here all the people out the front from around 11pm till late..this was only 1 night other than that our stay was brilliant

The size of the room was big and the view was lovely, very clean and close to town.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and the restaurant stopped serving food early. Didn't have access to snacks. I had to drive to town.

A lovely hotel with great grounds and facilities in an easy to get to location.
The only negative for me was that the kitchen closed at 9pm. The exact time I got there as per my forward notice.

I booked 4 rooms for night of 5.1.23. All romms were occupied on the night, hotel was completely booked out this night with all my freinds and relatives for a family wedding. However booking.com charged me a no show for this property. I managed to make contact with both hotel and booking.com who confirmed I should have been reimbursed this sizeable sum but this has never happened. I have always booked accomodation through booking.com in the past but would definetly not recommend again as they can just take your money for no reason and no customer service / after care. Possible not the hotels fault but booking.com do not have an email or contact phone number available for me now. somebody please help as I really could do with this refund as agreed.

Had a brilliant stay, prices were reasonable, staff were friendly and couldn't have done any more for me so I'd definitely stay again at the Bannville :D
Just a little bit of TLC needed in some places but overall everything was fine, I can't complain.
