Een verblijf op een fantastisch eiland

Uitzicht en grootte. Dubbele badkamers en alles wat nodig was om daar aangenaam te verblijven was aanwezig.

Warm water om te douchen was zeer beperkt en werkte vaak niet goed of helemaal niet.

Sehr gutes Ferienhaus am Fjord

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, direkt am Fjord. Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren sehr gut. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit 17 bzw. 35 km entfernt ist. Dies ist aber vollkommen ok, wenn man sich vorher schlau macht.

Toller Ort für Polarlichter

Das Haus ist sehr groß, komfortabel und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Blick auf den Fjord ist genial. Wir hatten an drei von vier Nächten Polarlichter und konnten sie sogar vom Bett aus sehen. In den Bewertungen vorher wird immer wieder der Wasserdruck erwähnt. Einfach etwas laufen lassen, dann wirds sehr gut. Und die Lage? Wir haben festgestellt, wenn man auf den Vesteralen Ausflüge macht, muss man immer etwas weiter fahren, egal ob nach Andenes oder Nyksund oder oder... Die Kommunikation mit Sabine war sehr gut, vielen Dank!

Der Geruch im oberen Badezimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das hat wahrscheinlich damit zu tun, dass das Wasser von ziemlich tief unten kommt.

Nice large property with beautiful views and a well equipped kitchen.

Friendly helpful host, good location with great view. Well equipped. Nice balcony and viewing room. Host left welcome fruit basket and firewood.

Exceptional

This is a very nice, big, high standard property with all the facilities you need. Even a large collection of games, DVDs and a fitness machine is there. Very nice location as well.

One thing we missed was blowing fans in the bathrooms. Natural ventilation takes time to remove the humidity and odors. In the bathroom on the upper level, we noticed that water can leak onto the floor if you are not careful when using the tub.

Amazing retreat for wildlife enthusiasts and complete relaxation!

Very comfortable house (for lounging and sleeping) with amazing views of the surrounding scenery and wildlife. Mornings were often spent bird watching while eating breakfast. Fully equipped kitchen with all basics provided; the owner obviously likes cooking! Great WiFi connection, reliable and fast. Comprehensive information provided in the welcome book and lots of tourist leaflets available to help spur ideas for activities. House is ideally located for complete relaxation and to take advantage of all the highlights of Verstarålen and the Lofoten islands. The drives are worth it for the 360 picture postcard views. Keep your eyes peeled for moose, we saw 4 and a herd of wild reindeer. I booked this as a treat for my Dad's 70th birthday. It exceeded his expectations. Northern Norway is absolutely breathtaking We didn't want to leave, would thoroughly recommend!

There was nothing I didn't like, others might not appreciate its remote location, but that was the whole purpose of our stay, to switch off from the outside world. No people, no skyscrapers just gorgeous scenery and wildlife at every turn.

Very good

- big house, well equipped - northern lights room - distance to sea = 50m - we saw birds, an otter and an elk around the house and sea eagles and seals "around the corner" at Buksnesfjorden, Forfjorden also not far away for northern light pictures

- kind of complicated house rules, but at least the file with rules helped - no fire wood provided (but not exactly expensive) - as there is no personal on-site, you have to take care about snow yourself (shovel, etc. is available)
