It was nice to use the hot tub, we booked it because it had a charging point. There were places to eat and an m and s in walking distance and facilities to eat in the room, eg plates cutlery

There were a lot of rules! The TV over the bed didn't work at all which was disappointing. It was quite expensive for what you got. And they charged extra for charging the car. They asked to know if you had food intolerance in advance then when we arrived they made a fuss that they didn't know what to give us for breakfast. It's hard enough having food intolerances, it is incredibly rude for people to then say "well I don't know what to feed you" when they asked specifically if you had any intolerances and to tell them in advance, and claim to be able to cater for them. The food at breakfast was ok, but nothing special and quite limited, and I was not entirely convinced the milk in the coffee was dairy free I didn't feel very good for the rest of the day.

Amazing!

The property was beautiful, all the details were so thoughtful and it was very comfortable. The hot tub and breakfast were fantastic extras. So easy to get into Brighton for the day!

High quality accomodation, close to a pub with food, on the South Downs Path.

It was a private, luxurious, little, hideaway, with with every modern convenience. The hot tub is a bonus.

unique place to stay on the South Downs Way

unique stay in a lodge in the owner’s garden. beautifully decorated and well stocked with fridge cafetière 2 TVs. outdoor area. The owner Keith kept in touch and brought breakfast in the morning. There is also a hot tub and though it wasn’t working when I stayed I was immediately offered a discount on the price of the stay. would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hosting from Keith, very attentive!

The property was in a great location. Close to town and easy to get to other places. The cabin was lovely and modern with high end key features. It had everything you would need and more actually! Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book up again!

Exceptional

We came to ducklodge for some peace and serenity for my partners birthday and that's exactly what we got. The lodge is absolutely immaculate set in the most perfect surroundings, its cosy, clean and beautiful, so many little personal touches its completely adorable. We had exclusive use of the hot tub which overlooks the downs. Keith was a fabulous host so friendly and helpful, breakfast was bought out to us at a time we chose which was lovely, utterly looked after. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommending to family and friends. Leaving here feeling completely refreshed and relaxed after a perfect night away.

One night stay in a lovely lodge with hot tub and excellent facilities, in a country village.

Lovely views from the hot tub, quiet location, tasty continental breakfast served in the lodge. Enjoyed using the hot tub in the evening. Very welcoming host and with lots of information provided in advance on the website. Would definately stay again when in the area. The music system and TV channels and options were excellent.

Its difficult to fault anything at all. They thought of everything.

very relaxing and cosy stay!

I have stayed in Duck lodge previously and it didn't disappoint me this time. The place is cozy, very modern , packed with technology - loved Alexa and Netflix. There is aircon in the room. There are plates, cutlery and microwave so if you do not fancy a lovely meal in the near pub you can heat something up. Very handy. breakfast was absolutely amazing. Keith is very friendly and would go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. He provided some pain killers as my friend had a headache.

there wasn't anything I didn't like. I will be back. The only downside is hot tub closing at 9pm, but its understandable as in residential area.

it was absolutely charming! so much contained within a very neat little lodge: there was an interesting drop in level from the front of the host property to the lodge itself, but this provided a good sense of privacy.

cannot fault the property at all. I didn’t find the coffee machine instructions, but that could be because we were only there overnight & I wasn’t able to read the entire brief on all the facilities!

Cleanliness Every little detail thought out so well- I pad, guest book, A.C, toiletries, chocolates, the honesty bar… the list is endless….

The hot tub was directly on the owners patio. Felt slightly uncomfortable in my bikini. Although no fault of the owner. He makes you feel comfortable. It was down to my insecurities.

Just brilliant!

Exceptionally well equipped and luxurious accommodation with plenty of privacy and a massive hot tub! Owner was fantastic - couldn't do enough to make my stay a happy experience. Was lovely to soak in the hot water, watch a film and lounge around after a long day of hiking. Breakfast was brilliant too.

A little more storage for luggage / clothes would be useful (perhaps under the bed?) though this is minor! Everything was excellent.
