Decent place

The place looks as on the pictures and it is maintained well. Pool was small but clean and pleasant. Room was clean.

The host keeps telling people what NOT to do, Every corner has lists with warnings what is forbidden, to a point that is annoying. Kitchen is very basic, guest are expected to make their own coffee, which would be ok if at least some basics were provided, as milk for example. Some bad smell from all bathrooms

Very nice apartment. Unfortunately we couldn't make any use of the beautiful swimming pool due to bad weather.

This is not negative information but pay attention it is a village not a town. Go shopping in Shumen. In a kitchen you find everything to make a dinner for the whole family, just remenber to have stuff for it:)

A definite getaway spot!

Great location! Very neat and quiet! Sunrise over Madara is amazing to look at! The accomodation itself is very nice and tidy. Has all you need for a perfect city getaway! Would definitely visit again!

Perfect for the Rider

Amazingly helpful host was waiting for an evening check in, and helped find a restaurant open (near the Rider) for dinner - important in a small place with not many options. The premises are in a good condition and simply charming. Wish İ'd gone there summertime to enjoy the pool! I had a room on the second floor and there is a lovely shared terrace to enjoy the view: so beautiful and peaceful. Wonderful place!

Very good place for families loving to picknick in summer. Swimming pool good for children

Big enough and clean room. You can feel the care for details inside and outside in the garden. Very nice and full of atention landlord.

No opened restaurant around. You can cook yourself in the common kitchen, though. We had dinner in Shumen at 15 km.

The accommodation is very nice, neat and clean. The guest house is very well planned. The facilities are amazing. The landlord is very helpful and friendly. His wife even did our laundry to help us with the baby's clothes.

Amazing stay in a perfect location!

The place is wonderful! It is newly renovated, spot clean, with spacious rooms and wonderful garden with a very well maintained pool. The kitchen is well equipped and there is free (and good) coffee. There is a small shop just around the corner where you can buy some some basic food&drinks. The owner Zlatko was very friendly and the communication was great. We stayed only a night, but would have loved to stay longer.

So nice that I extended my stay.

German quality at a low Bulgarian price. Very well kept small hotel. Swallows live there and eat the insects in the air, or from the water surface. Very enjoyable to sit at the swimmingpool and watch their elegant flying. Helpful staff.

Great place, highly recommend! The accommodation is cozy, comfortable and very clean. The host is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very close to the Madara Horseman sights (walking distance of 15 min). The guest house is equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Amazing value for the money, will definitely return! It was such a quite and relaxing atmosphere!

Superb

We had the property to ourselves but there was plenty of room for more. Its essentially self catering so you need to buy food beforehand or go to the local shop. Nice pool if the weather is good. The owner speaks very good English and is very helpful.

Madera itself is pretty run down with no restaurants - hence the self catering advice.

Nice place for a weekend

Very quiet, very nice, very clean... The vicinity of Madara and its monuments... An excellent opportunity for a weekend relax. The garden is excellent, there is a nice pool, and the host is very welcoming.
