The owner is very friendly and helped with the taxi to the airport
It might be hard to find at night.

Location was good. Would have preferred selection of seasonal fruit for breakfast.

Sandra was so welcoming, exceptional hostess. We spoke Spanish, I don't know how her English is. The location is a short $10 USD taxi ride from the airport and has chickens, ducks, geese and a December harvest. A local grill and a pizza restaurant a short walk away.
The shower is tricky, as cheap accommodation Quito showers tend to be. Very warm, low pressure, water shoots in all directions, gets the bathroom floor wet. The water was so hot for my boyfriend that he had to turn off the breaker. Ask Sandra how to run it, maybe we were doing something wrong.

Great place, comfy beds and super close to the airport! If you’re stuck during the protests, this place is close enough to not get disrupted.

Place is dirty with a lot of dust, also in the room we got blankets that were so dusty probably were not washed for a month. Place is located next to the highway so also the noise is pretty significant.
We booked 2 nights but stayed only 1.
Bad value for money.

Staff is friendly and helpful, nice to have gardens around, and the old mill is interesting
Noise from the nearby highway, and extremely difficult to find. They need much better signage.

Breakfast was real nice and was made just for me at 0630 because of my early checkout for a dental appointment in Quito. I also got a fine tour of the property, including the animals, and plants. Very kind. Then la duena called for me her trusted cabbie for the 40-minute drive to my Quito dentist. The property is a bit remote, so if you're arriving at night, print your cabbie the google map route and let the place know of your late arrival. All good.
This lovely property was hard to find at night. My Quito airport driver was intrepid, yours might not always be. ...perhaps some more lights and signage for those late Quito Airport arrivals.

Very friendly owners, very accommodating. Nice breakfast, very good location. Some cool history associated with the building, it really was a grist mill and the grinding stones and some mechanisms are still there.

Room was nice. Bedding clean. Woman host friendly and caring. Close to airport.
No hot water. Very Creaky bed. Host gentleman charged per person instead of per room. Cobwebs in bathroom. Difficult for Uber to find.

I will definitely stay at El Molino again the next time I pass through Quito. Its location is excellent - 15 minutes from the airport and either an easy bus or $10 taxi ride. The value's also great, including a tasty breakfast of bread, cheese, marmalade, a batido, and cafe. Sandra is a caring host - very cheery and very helpful. I needed to catch a bus two different times during my one night stay - on both occasions Sandra waited with me until I boarded. The grounds are very pleasant - with indoor potted plants, wooden tables, and outside gardens - and Tababela surprises with various small cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.
A little bright and a little noisy, as it's near the carretera - nothing that ear plugs and a night mask didn't take care of.

I was only at the hotel for a few hours. I arrived at 4am and the lovely woman quickly let me in. She didnt bother me with checking in, just allowed me to go straight to bed. Then in the morning I had a big breakfast and paid. She helped me to get the bus into Quito central. Really recommend this place if you need a good value place close to the airport
Nothing, it was perfect.
