Very good

The house was beautiful and open with a great view. The kangaroos came out at night. That was awesome 👌. Handy to shops, Cafe and pubs just a 10 minute drive down the road. Netflix is great,beds were comfortable and did I mention the view just fabulous

Our ladtnight was heavy rain and windy we we're unpleasantly surprised by lots of tiny slugs at the bottom of the outside of the house. Lucky we we're leaving that morning and they didn't come in.

Great view and location

Great location and value for money. Linen etc was included which was nice. Property was clean and tidy. Owner easy to deal with.

A few "maintenance" issues that I'm sure the owner would be aware of, happy to pass on if needed.

The view was fantastic. Bed's so comfy. House lovely and clean. Netflix and WIFI a bonus. Just a wonderful spot. David the owner very nice, had excellent communication and quick responses. The beach and township were stunning and everything we needed was close by.

gorgeous location , comfortable beds

no stove downstairs and sofa lounges really hard and uncomfortable . Could use some serving bowls etc in kitchen for salads etc

This is the best spot in Carrickalinga hands down. The view is extraordinary, access to the beach super easy and facilities perfect. Friendly neighbourhood and everyone so welcome and happy. Perfect for big families and small. Kitchen was perfect with everything we needed for traditional home cooked meals and BBQ. All the bedrooms were great as was the bathroom and enough fans and air con units for comfortable sleeping on warm nights. Smart TVs a really nice touch along with the filter coffee machine. We all loved our time here and are definitely coming back.

Check out day. Sad to leave but will be returning, thank you for being so accommodating during our covid isolation a week prior to arrival. We were allowed to check in and out a day late and we are so grateful.

Great views over Carrickalinga

The location was in a very quiet street with nice views form the balcony. Very country like. Beds were comfortable and had all you needed for the stay.

The connection between upstairs and downstairs was only via external stairs which was odd. Having said that we spent all time upstairs so it didn’t matter.

Great location but tired property

The location was awesome and so were the views. The owners communication was also very good and clear.

The property was very tired and dusty. The deck needs painting, there were cobwebs and dust everywhere on the deck and windows. The area under the deck looked really sad and in need of work. Also having a massive TV in the kitchen/dining area was odd given there was no where to lounge and watch it. The upstairs could do with reconfiguring so a lounge space is created. We ended up getting our bedding (that we bought with us) and lying on the floor to watch tv. Going outside and down stairs to watch tv in what felt like a cave didn’t appeal as it’s completely away from the rest of the main living. We were lucky the weather was good so we sat outside until it got cold. Again some comfy seating outside would be good, the chairs were old, peeling and not comfortable for sitting in for long periods (we used our pillows). The property also didn’t have any bedside lamps so reading in bed meant full bright overhead lights, which was no good for relaxing or the other person. It’s easy to secure lamps to furniture if theft is the reason there aren’t any.

We came to relax and recharge and our stay there achieved exactly that

Location was excellent and the views were better than expected. The house was a great size and has a lovely deck area with outdoor seating. It's ideal for couples / groups of friends or a large family. Very quiet and peaceful street. You're so close to the beach that you can hear the waves crashing and we loved it.

The place could have been cleaner as it was pretty dusty around the window frames etc. it's also starting to look a little tired. Lack of iron and ironing board was disappointing, bar stools would have been a great addition, no side lamps in the bedrooms, missing a dust pan and brush, no full length mirror

Perfect getaway! Perfect price!

Everything you'd need for the perfect getaway! Escape from the city, listen to the peaceful waves on the deck... the pictures really don't do it justice - view is incredible! 10/10 would stay again :)

As it's winter, we could have done with a few more blankets and thicker bedding to keep us warm, as there's only 1 heater per floor in the main function room.
