Loved it here! So comfortable!

Comfortable home, large kitchen, bath in the bathroom with lots of bench space, laundry, recliner chairs looking out the glass sliding door to the water. Should have stayed longer! Our favourite accommodation during our Coral Coast holiday

Comfortable accommodation with a great view

The unit had a great view and was in a good location. It was homely and comfortable with everything we could need, and we enjoyed having an oven and washing machine. Felicity greeted us on arrival and was available to answer any questions.

It doesn’t have a dishwasher but that wasn’t an issue for two people.

Good

Location was lovely, with a lovely view of the sea rolling into the Murchison River. The unit was very pleasantly dressed up and quite comfortable overall.

The host insisted on being paid cash, which meant we had to look for an ATM (which was quite hard to find). The first time I've had such a request in more than 20 years of travelling! The host also appeared very protective of the property, making us feel as though we were being scrutinised.

was a two night stay this time while in transit going north .

the view is spectacular, the unit inside is very homey ,very comfortable and very relaxing ,the owners live about the unit and are welcoming people ,they are available if you have a problem in the unit ,but otherwise don’t interfere .😊

nice overall but needs significant upgrade

large Appartement, sleeps 5 everything clean good Location, being roadside didn’t really harm washing machine, full kitchen

the entire place simply needs full refurbishment and upgrade, the cyclone tore down the adjacent apartment, this is currently rebuild so one should check if there is building noise. once done there will be a brand new Appartement and the old one which needs full upgrade already now floors are brownish, couch is brownish, the beds and all kitchen furniture as well as kitchen material should ideally be replaced. add white walls, redo the curtains, add some cool, stylish furniture and it will be a great place. we moved to another place since this one was too „old-looking“ for us

looking out at the ocean island being walking distance to everything is wonderful. you have everything you need full kitchen a bath soda stream comfy beds and even record player for some fun The hosts are wonderful and very helpful

Hospitable host and fabulous property

Keys were in the door with a welcome note. This property is home away from home. Comfortable and fully equipped with everything couples or a family need for a short or extended stay.

We were lucky to secure a last min cancellation during the school holidays. This was a wonderful.

Location

Was expecting to pay via credit or EFT transfer but owner wanted cash. There was no advance notice re this requirement and it proved awkward to come up with the money as our group only had credit cards with us. If payment is to be cash upon arrival, this should be very clearly stipulated at the beginning.

I think this unit would suit a family for a short stay. The location is excellent. Pricey.

The location was lovely, very close to the riverfront. Sadly there is still a lot of damage to the surrounding buildings and shops from the cyclone in 2021. The weather was lovely for the first few days and we loved visiting the gorges and beaches. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied with cutlery and appliances and a very good fridge. It was clean when we arrived.

The unit is located below the owners residence and we could hear their usual movements which were disturbing at night. The shower in the bathroom was not good and did not have a strong water pressure and was also too high. The cost of the accommodation was very pricey for what you got. Making allowances for what they went through with cyclone damage, we generally found it comfortable.

A comfortable stay in a lovely location

The location was excellent facing the water and plenty to look at. Not far away is the Pelican Feeding and also the mobile seafood truck.

Perfect place to catch your breath!

Absolutely loved the location. Great place for fishing, close to the boat ramp and town. Loved the birds, especially the cheeky willy wagtail. Loved the sunsets/sunrise.
