Great place in Fowey centre

Very tasty room with great view on the water and comfortable bed. Breakfast very nice. Bus to the car park is very helpful

Was lovely would stay again. Excellent food..lovely bed linen staff extra nice.

A bit qwirky right near water. Very comfortable.but room was quite small and up a lot of outside steps.

Lovely weekend and a good room would definitely book again.

Lovely clean well maintained modern room/bathroom and great selection of teas on the tray.

On arrivals had to wait to be acknowledged and when we were, the staff member said someone will be with us then we were ignored. Could have done with a mirror on the wall in the bedroom as nice big mirror in the entrance to the room but no plug to be able to do hair/ makeup. Pillows were flat so could do with updating them and there were no spare ones in the wardrobe.

Beautiful venue with lots of thoughtful touches, central town centre location and very helpful staff.

We loved the decor and all the thoughtful touches eg night lights, in the bathroom, Elemis bathroom products, including the pillow spray, hand sanitisers, bathrobes & fluffy towels, bottles of water, and choice of refreshments. Comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Plenty of plug points and door hooks and hangers. Excellent location. Although no car park, nearby, there was a frequent shuttle bus to the car park.

Bedroom pillows did not have much support. Toilet paper was very poor quality. Hand soap and shampoo dispenser was faulty… had to manually raise it up and push down, repeatedly, to dispense the contents. My husband was kept awake by the street light coming on, outside our bedroom window. We were not aware of the shuttle bus to the car park, until a passer by told us! it should have been on the hotel blog. we thought we’d have to walk for 10 minutes, down steep steps, with all our bags.

Excellent, the ethos of service and welcome radiates through all the staff.

The staff were polite and welcoming, the room light, a decent size with lovely views. We had dinner and it was excellent, as was the breakfast. Exceptional value for money.

There is short term parking outside the hotel, 2 hours. So you can drop off your bags, then park your car at the long term car park 10 minutes walk from the hotel. There is an app which allows you to repark each morning from the comfort of your hotel room.

L Staff very friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and really liked shower and Elemis products in the bathroom! Our waffles for breakfast were excellent.

Wi-Fi not very stable which became a little frustrating in the evening.

The location of the hotel is perfect , right on the waterfront with views to the open sea one way and up the estuary the other. We had 2 breakfasts and one dinner while staying and both were very good. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our cosy room was tucked into the attic where we found comfy beds, a good shower, fluffy towels and a full tray of tea / coffee facilities.

pleasant stay but feel there’s small easy wins there to manage expectations and make it more enjoyable.

The room overlooked carpark and the local pub; not the the epic estuary view we had in mind and paid extra for. No parking at the hotel which is a first for me; parking is very tricky at Fowey so next time I’ll be sure to choose accommodation that has this covered. Dropping bags off was also challenging due to roadworks taking place that understandably was out of the hotels control. mattress was way too soft; clearly an old one that’s had plenty of use but time for a replacement. Room contained 1-2 unnecessary extra doors serving no purpose making the room feel very small and confined.

A lovely anniversary getaway, great value for money

The room was very clean, cosy and warm with a beautiful water view. The bed was one of the most comfortable I e stayed in and the shower divine. The food in the restaurant was superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a romantic getaway.

Fantastic location

Great location while we walked stretch of SW Coast Path. Right next to ferry to Polruan.

Hook on door on bedroom door and bigger mirror would have been helpful. But generally really good room with great view.
