Superb

Big place to spend if you are travelling with family. Organized, you can find everything you need for e.g. Cooking etc. so very well equiped. Also hand built sauna, green area, lot of place makes this just more comfortable.

Could have been cleaner at some point (eg. Kitchen, bathroom), especially considering the note that asks you to clean up the kitchen yourself and remove the bed coversheets after yourself when leaving. I’d rather leave it for the cleaners, not the guests, because that can make a difference.

Superb

We had a great stay. I even looked to see if it was free for one more night. Easy, comfortable, spacious and clean! It’s somewhat remote but the view is fantastic and you’re likely driving everywhere anyway. Perfect for a couple or a family.

It was actually very warm inside so we had to keep some windows open which was tricky for sleeping since it’s daylight all the time.

we loved to stay in the house, it was really cozy and comfortable.

the House has the perfect location to spend some amazing days in the Icelandic „wildlife“, it‘s about 10 minutes drive to the next village :) it’s also a good place to explore the golden circle (about 1,5 hours drive) or the south of Iceland. The house offers a good standard of equipment - especially in the kitchen and bathroom. (Only a kitchen grater and a coated pan is missing). There are also the classic ingredients and spices (probably from previous tenants). The view is fantastic and even if the seating furniture looks a bit used, it is very comfortable. The rest of the furnishings are very modern and appealing. Gunnar was always very helpful with all our questions PS: it’s also a good place to spot the northern lights :))

An explanation for the TV and for the waste separation would have been an advantage.

Stunning cabin in a fabulous location

It was a very beautiful well equipped cabin, in a fantastic location and lovely and warm too. Great online guide book provided by host, the best of any we had and really useful for some great day trips!

It needed a quick hoover and wipe around kitchen doors when we arrived but that's probably me being bit ocd with cleanliness and a previous guest not being quite so

This is a super nice house with high level of equipment and excellent confort, you won't miss anything. Also very well situated as just in between Vik and the golden circle.

Highlight recommended and value for money.

Owner is ver responsive. The house is new and modern with Sauna facilities. complete kitchen with oven, dishwasher and microwave + BBQ. Awesome view and cleanliness is good.

Very good in general

The situation of the house. Very clean and a lot of equipment. Nice sauna outside.

There where no sheets ,duvet cover , and pillow covers in one bed. Very bad surprise, we had to improvise for the night. The owner should dress all the beds in the house. An extra bed sheets should be available in case someone is sick.

Absolutely beautiful home in a wonderful location. The home was perfectly clean, incredibly comfortable and a home away from home on our travels. We will definitely return! Owners were friendly and responsive.

It seemed at first that it’s in a middle of nowhere but it’s a good starting point for exploring the south coast.

Very nice, clean place to stay. Fast internet so it’s suitable for a „home office with a view”.

Had everything a family may need, including washer and dryer. Easy to locate, but the place is a little remote.

It was clean, but some parts could have used a little extra cleaning.

Amazing location and great host. We loved it!

The location near the main waterfalls and the glaciers is very good.

The kitchen needed an additional cleaning.

Excellent base to explore or for quiet break.

Very nice, clean, well equipped and modern house. Beautiful scenery and sunrises. Remote location but very close to shops and sites. Brilliant host who collected our quarantine shopping and arranged for additional supplies to be delivered to us. Sauna was nice bonus.
