Thé room was great, huge bed and loads of space. A fantastic bathroom with a huge shower and also a enormous balcony, which was more like a patio veranda.

A hidden gem, an oasis of calm in bustling Ubud. At the end of a cul-de-sac, you walk into the park-like garden of Alam Jiwa. What a paradise. A lovely swimming pool, hospitable welcome with fresh fruit juice. You are in the middle of nature; our villa (divided into two large accommodations; one downstairs and one upstairs) was very large and luxurious. Showers overlooking the rice fields, a terrace also with beautiful views over the rice fields. Every morning a delicious, huge breakfast full of fresh products and afternoon tea with cake. You feel like God in Bali here. Lots of care and attention to detail; fresh flowers everywhere, fresh fruit, offering bowls. Highly recommended!

It’s a paradise, quiet and full of vegetation each room has a private garden and the staff is always ready to help!!
Waking up and opening the curtains you have a luxurious private garden waiting for you refresh yourself in the open shower you will delight yourself with the tasty breakfast served at the time you have chosen and delivered to your room balcony.
They also have a bath tube in the open-air bathroom, which I have been tempted to use but since there is a lack of water in Bali, I have resisted.
I have from Westin, which was my first booking, because of the noisy customers of the hotel that would kill the vibe of my days in Ubud. Here somehow the guest respect the surroundings and allow everybody to enjoy the relaxed environment of the swimming pool even not that big is more than enough, unless you are training for the Olympics :)
Try the cooking workshop in the related restaurant, was so good and you learn how to do some Balinese dishes, they are easy to prepare
The beds can be more comfortable and mosquito nets more clean

Everything was perfect. True balinese hospitality executed flawlessly. One of the most special places I remember staying in over 25 years of travel. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Alam Jiwa was one of the best we’ve ever had. The rooms were pristine and extremely comfortable, surrounded by stunningly beautiful nature. It is perfectly located away from the madness of central Ubud, while still being very walkable, though there are also some fantastic eating spots nearby. However, it was the team at Alam Jiwa who really made our stay so unforgettable - from the huge, family-like welcome to the 2am volcano trek breakfast boxes, nothing was ever too great an ask for them. We couldn’t recommend Alam Jiwa (and its employees) enough.
That we couldn’t stay longer.

The environment is very beautiful and quiet. The room is comfortable and the furnitures are high quality. The swimming pool is wide and the garden is pretty and abundant.
The best of it is the staff are nice and helpful.
Even the hotel is not in the center but they have free shutter bus for the guest. And also have reataurants and massage shop near the hotel.
We will go back again!
The facilities of the bathroom are a little bit old and doesn't work functionly. And the kitchen supplies are not enough and prepared.

An absolute brilliant hotel. Staff is very friendly. Architecture is so traditional and authentic, beautifully in balance with the landscaped paths. Would definitely come again. Quiet and clean, it had everything for us. Thank you

A super nice small resort in Ubud. Very large apartments with beautiful views of rice fields. In a nice garden setting. Very nice staff. Every day breakfast served in your apartment and tea and cake in the afternoon at the pool. A place to come back!

It was very quiet area, near monkey forest, so to get there was very easy. Not so many tourist, we had pool only to ourself, when we used it.
It is not their fault, bet keep in mind that there is a lot of ants and bugs, we had in our balcony, so should leave food or drinks unattended

incredibly nice and helpful staff, flexible. Afternoon tea, quiet swimming pool area, convenient shuttle to Ubud centre.
The downstairs bath and taps could do with a good clean up. No hand soap, shower gel had a terrible smell.
A yoga shalla would be nice.
As the monkeys attacks got more and more frequent (monkeys entered the bathroom on our last day)a perspex screen will soon be needed upstairs and for the 1st floor dining room, accessible to the monkeys.

Had a very good time at the Alam Jiwa, staff was very friendly and polite the room was big and spacious. Breakfast was very nice. Also spending time at the pool was nice and quiet. A lot of restaurants in the area, and monkey forest is just 10 min walking.

staff were so friendly and attentive. the rooms were incredibly spacious and we loved the outdoor shower.
breakfast was amazing and delivered to your room where you can sit outside and overlook the rice terraces.
lovely pool area although we didn’t get a chance to use it.
there were a lot of really nice restaurants and cafe shops within walking distance of the hotel too which was ideal.
nothing not to like - it was perfect!

beautiful quiet location, amazing garden and landscaping. Sounds of birds, lotus flowers, view on the paddies. sitting on the veranda for breakfast; the kindness of the staff. I loved it.
personally, only the loud sound of the water running from the two statues in the pool- I’d rather have a softer, more trickling sound of water so you can still hear the birds. it’s a matter of preference though. Suggest to update the information in the rooms about trips and activities. lots has changed.

Perfect Ubud experience, gorgeous villa with views over the fields, wonderful personal service and great location - lots of local Warung without the hassle and traffic of Ubud centre.

The room with the terrace was great. I really enjoyed a place for reading outside covered with a net.
The location is slightly remote from the centre but it's not too bad

The property is lovely and peaceful, and the room itself was huge with a beautiful balcony looking over the rice fields. The breakfast was amazing with the option to have it on the balcony in the room or by the pool. Afternoon tea and cake was also available everyday. The staff were so lovely and friendly! The location was good, within walking distance to the busy centre but also plenty of restaurants and cafes close by and away from the main crowds.
Nothing!
There were some bugs in the room but that is to be expected given the location and the staff were always lighting mosquito coils.

The staff were the highlight of my trip. They were warm, friendly and helpful... a true embodiment of the spirit of Ubud.
The breakfast served in our private terrace was delicious and generous. You are provided with a menu and are able to select the items you want and can order via whatsapp.
The terrace views are lovely and gardens are gorgeous. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower quite alot.
The location is great with restaurants and the monkey forest was within walking distance.
Our rooms were somewhat aged and in need of some maintenance. The walls have some water damage with paint peeling in some places. This was something I was willing to overlooked in light of the many positives.

This stay at Alam Jiwa was amazing. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The staff always keep smile and treat visitors gently. The location is nearby monkey forest of Ubud. The view from the balcony is quite green. It is like standing in the farm and jungle. The room is traditional Balinese style bringing people serenity. The pool is extremely wonderful - beautiful blue tiles, wooden sunbeds, and stone statues overgrown with moss. It is truly living in the history. Highly recommended!
Some flying insects coming in the bath room after raining lots.

we had a room overlooking the rice paddies and it was lovely.
the property offered to help with our onward journey to Gili - the service was awful. we got charged a lot of money and once at the port, many boats left for the Gili islands but not ours, not the company they use. we had to wait three hours. WE ARE STILL WAITING. IT COULD BE LONGER. we wasted a precious day holiday. do not use their services. so upsetting.

The location is close to some good cafes, restaurants, wellness spas, art shops and yoga places. However, there is no need to leave the hotel if you’re seeking a relaxed abode. The pool and the room are so beautiful and relaxing I could have stayed there and just chill. I even had a massage therapist came to my room. Everything is very clean and they have clean filtered water for you in the room and on near the pool. The staff is so lovely and kind and go out of their way to make your stay the best one ever. I was unfortunately unwell one day and ended up in hospital (an infection I caught on one of my outings). When I called the reception a doctor was there very quickly and one of the staff members stayed at the hospital with me for hours to make sure I'm okay. The staff also brought me some flowers. I can't tell you how much these people care and really look after you.
The quality of towels good be better. They were a bit on the 'old' and thin side and at times not that white any longer.
