Nice large apartment with views over the bay. Comfortable with kitchen and washing machine.
The property is in old town, up a long incline hill which is pedestrian access only so it’s hard to navigate with luggage especially in very hot months. Luckily the owner was able to organize transport Upon arrival and departure.

The style of the apartment is super cool; gorgeous aesthetic and design. However, the main photo on the landing page is of the 1 room unit and I was in the much larger 2 room and it did not look like what I expected. The view of the roofs and the water were pretty from the windows and it was unreal to sit on the ledge of the window in the bedroom.
Couch was comfy, bed was good. Unit was clean, but mildly dusty. Travelling alone I was worried for safety - there are a couple ways to get there, and you want to go the main route to avoid several twisty streets with graffiti; it's on an relatively very quiet street.
The toilet seat was broken and was never replaced.
Broken - like cracked in half and when I sat down and it literally pinched my flesh so hard, it bruised my bottom. I contacted the owner and they sent someone quickly (within the hour) who proceeded to remove the seat and did not replace it - ever. When I followed up with the owner when I left, they told me it takes some time to order. I would expect that break may have been there for some time; I am shocked they left it that way as long as they did.
There is no direct car / taxi access to the unit.
The unit is on a large stone walk that has about a 20% incline and you must walk to it for approx.500 meters (?). This is no joke if you have luggage. Plus, it is on the second floor without an elevator. Just a heads up.

Stunning property with plenty of space and everything you could need. We enjoyed the location and found the host attentive and always happy to help. The view out of the balcony’s is stunning and we really loved waking up to see the view.
It felt quite noisy at times but this is no fault of the host. Everything else that is great about the apartment makes up for it.

No breakfast was included. Nothing in the refrigerator upon arrival. Quiet residential street.
No elevator, second floor. In a restricted access area which was nice for less traffic, but 6 minute walk to get taxi.

This is our third stay at a Star Host property in Salerno and it is the best so far. The view of the harbour can be seen from both rooms and with the host's styling and decor you do feel as though you are on set in an Italian romantic movie. Location is reasonably close - but for those of us with luggage you will need to walk up a hill as a taxi can’t get you to the door. The owners sent a WhatsApp message with pictures and videos of how to get the keys and enter the place. It was very clear what to do.
Apartment was spotless and has a two burner stove top and a bar fridge for adequate cooking in the kitchenette. Coffee making facilities got us started for the day although we became regulars down at Bar Duomo which is just down the hill. We were working remotely so were reliant on the good internet speeds provided. The hosts were flexible on our checkout to accomodate our working commitments.
I think if they put a washing machine in the apartment we would move in permanently. ;-)
Despite the ceiling being over three metres high, you can occasionally hear the person walking in the apartment above. Also the voices of next door’s guests and the building’s residences gossiping in Italian in the corridor might drift on through the door. However, such things happen everywhere in apartments and it didn’t detract from the good vibes this place imbues.

That was amazing 🤩! Perfect place for romantic vacation! Old building, art design, great view! Fast communication.
Apartment has everything you need and location is good. Down the street you can find parking/garage.
There was only one flaw, we need to send passports photo to get the door code, but I don’t understand why it was so necessary. Our hands was full of baggage and stuff, that was uncomfortable. Payment we did a week before.

Great views, location, nice architecture and spacious room.
Minor things. Kitchenette wasn't very clean, greasy pots dusty glasses/plates etc, cookie jar empty with old crumbs. We found the place a bit dark not enough lighting, towels were literally tearing apart of old, and lack of personal higiene things such as shower wash/shampoo etc.

I really love the apartment and the bulding. Actually I stared at the walls of the apartment. I was amazed by all the well done details which combined the old with the new.
The location of the apartment is in the heart of the city and you can easily get to anywhere.
Also the staff were very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my staying.

We literally loved everything about this apartment!
Salerno itself was such a lovely surprise and to stay in this special apartment with a beautiful sea view was just something unforgettable. We were so happy to have found it and couldn’t wait to come back to the apartment after a day out. That, I think, says enough.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Just a little note to the future guests - taxis don’t drive exactly to the address, probably because the street is in the old town and supernarrow. Unfortunately, we found that out on a stormy, rainy day of our departure. But still, nothing could change the impressions of our Salerno stay :)

Wonderful interiors, amazing views - simply perfect!

The apartment was well presented and clean with lots of small touches like disinfection products and sweets. We had a late check-in and found that the kitchen had everything needed for a nice vacation stay. In the fridge, we found a bottle of bubbles, juice, a couple of beers, and water which were much appreciated after a long day.
The interior design is well thought thru to make you feel at home and the views down to the sea are beautiful.
Communication was easy with good tips to eat and where to find Supermarkets.
It was nice to know that there was someone available when needed that replied quickly and efficiently.
The service is completely recommended.
It would be good to mention that it's quite up high in the historical center (a bit of a hike with luggage). The apartment is on the second floor so you do have to get your luggage up two flights of stairs. We didn't have a problem but I think it would be good to mention in the description.
