Recommend for a good convenient stay in Arbroath

Everything you needed including cleaning materials and Jean kindly left us milk and coffee and biscuits. Great location near beach Great location for fabulous cliff walk Lovely little garden and summerhouse Smart TV Comfy beds Near town and Abbey Husband liked seaside fishing theme

Cozy and full of character right in the harbour.

Being picked up at the railway station was an unexpected treat. Thankyou for that. The cottage was lovely and just big enough for 3. The coffee and treats were very nice and the little fireplace was so cozy in the evening. My favorite part was the summerhouse , so nice to sit in on a cool or rainy day. Very well done all round.

excellent short break well worth the money

ideal location for the shops,cafes,pubs,as everything is just minutes away,the cottage is right next to the harbour and has every thing you need for your stay,the cottage is on a one way resident street so you get one or two cars during the day but at night its really quiet as the walls are about two foot thick,in fact the first night we over slept a couple of hours. the landlady jean pick us up from the train station and then showed us around the cottage which was really great.

having to leave should have booked longer.if you like peace and quiet and everything on your doorstep this is for you.

Would have liked a text or email for more info about key collection and parking prior to arrival. TV was bit tricky to operate, even after changing remote batteries lamp in single room was wobbly in its casing .

beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location!

perfection location, absolutely stunning near the harbour. ideal for going to pubs and restaurants and very near amenities and shops. couldn’t recommend more.

would love to have had a double bed, but otherwise absolutely perfect.

Lovely cottage

Really lovely cottage with great outdoor area and summer house in garden. Contained garden so perfect for keeping the dog safe. Also handy having a second toilet downstairs which looks recently installed . Jean is a lovely friendly lady who met us at the cottage and showed us around. She made us and our dog feel very welcome . We will definitely return.

Not a huge problem but if I had to find a negative I would say the shower could be improved upon. Not very powerful.

Fabulous location. Very central. Wee garden was great as the weather picked up during our stay. Jean told us her next booking had to cancel and told us that there was no rush to vacate by normal check out time. As it happens we were off sharp as the weather was so good but did appreciate the thought.

Superb

Absolutely loved staying here. Fantastic location and really quirky little cottage that made me feel happy to be staying there. It was spotless with ample cleaning products and hand sanitiser available. Loved the fact that it was dog friendly with blankets and bowls supplied, they had even left a bag of dog treats for our dog Missy. Felt very much at home and will hopefully be back at some point in the future.

Not really a big deal but we couldn't find any recycling bins at the cottage or near it so we just brought our recycling back home with us.

Very enjoyable, enjoyed staying at the wee anchor and definitely stay again, Jean was very welcoming and pleasant.

Very clean, homely, welcoming, characterful and well presented. Home from Home. Very Happy as dog friendly too.

Only thing for us was twin room which is suitable for king size bed, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Apart from that, and the 'lock down', everything was fine.

The location was fine. We made our own meals

Perhaps just a few odds and ends for folk eating in most of the time. E.g. a potato peeler, a spoon rest, one smaller pot for the hob, and a few washing up sponges. We had a problem initially with the step in the hallway. Not at first easily discerned, as you are busy hanging up garments and half of the coatrack is on the lower level. It is all too easy to miss your footing, and may unfortunately did so.

Wee anchor stay

It was a beautiful place to stay. Loved the summer house in the garden. Was near the harbour and beach. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone
