Exceptional

A lovely old Schloss minutes from the train station and town. Beautiful town, river cruises, castles, hikes, biking. Weather much warmer than normal so room quite warm but everything you could want in the kitchenette, oven, tools, dishes WiFi, shared balcony, wonderful caring hostess.

The room could do with a fan. Otherwise wonderful.

Cluttered room. Poor furnishings. Suspect electricity. No lift. Entrance hall and our room needed a complete refurbishment.

Rosi Link, proprietor, is enthusiastic about welcoming guests.

We liked the old schloss venue and especially the proprietor, Rosi. She was very attentive our comfort.

Stairs and no elevator could be problematic, but Rosi dampened that problem by insisting on helping get the bags up the stairs. Stairs and no elevator is inherent in a charming old schloss.

Superb

The host is wonderful, she also helped us with late arrival and keeping baggage after check out. The apartment has all facilities for a several days stay and is just a couple of minutes' walk from the station. There is a nice balcony. Yes, room windows face railroad, but earplugs help, we slept very comfortably.

Very comfortable facility with lots of amenities. Very friendly and helpful host.

Large comfortable room with lots of amenities. Great view out the front windows. Very helpful, friendly and professional host. great location.

A lot of stairs to climb to get to room. Trains go by constantly - not a problem for me because it was cold outside so I kept the windows closed and the train noise was minimal but if you had to keep the windows open in Summer, it could be a problem.

Nice and quite place. Perfect for tourists

An apartment placed in Bacharach. Since it is small town you can reach to the center very quickly within 10 minutes. There are many footways around this place. The apartment itself is small with 1 sleeping room and 1 living room. But everything is functional. Hostess Rosi is very communicative and kind. There was pleasure to stay there.

Since there is no air condition it can be hot in summer. If you work remotely be ready that nor all resources are available via WiFi. Some of them are cut. It might be provider issue but anyway. For example we couldn't use RDP connection.

Comfortable stay - will recommend

- Very clean & comfortable - Had 2x good night sleep - House came with Oven, Microwave, Kettle, Hairdryer, Coffee Maker, Toiletries (but no toothbrush & conditioner), towels, TV and extension cords with USB ports.

- Had some problems during check in when I couldn't contact owner - WiFi & Heating was not available during certain times of the day - Can be a bit noisy as it's near train station. Bring ear plugs

Exceptional

The guest house has a great view of the Rhine and a short walk to the historic city center of Bacharach. The host was very kind and friendly and ensured everything was well taken care of. She hosted us like family, sending us off with a bottle of wine for a birthday.
