Most enjoyable stay, very well looked after by Jeffrey our host. I highly recommend.

The breakfast was generous, varied and healthy. The room was exceptionally large, luminous with an elegant bathroom. The location of the Cordeliers is perfect, close to the historic medieval town.

Wunderschöne 2 Tage in einmaliger Altstadt.

Überdurchschnittlich freundlicher und netter Gastgeber. War immer zur Stelle, wenn man ihn brauchte! Tolle Lage, direkt vor den Türen der wunderschönen Altstadt! Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, mit Liebe zum Detail!

Frühstück war gut; nur der Tee war nicht ganz unser Geschmack.

Schönes Ambiente, aber leider sehr schlechter Service

Sehr gute Lage, schönes Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern.

Frühstück mit Brot und Croissants vom Vortag und nur wenig Auswahl. Schmutzige Hand- und Badetücher wurden trotz auf dem Boden liegend nicht gewechselt, sondern dreckig wieder aufgehängt. Kommentar des Besitzers: das ist in der Hotelbranche jetzt üblich...

Beautiful building and location. wonderfully restored and decorated. Very helpful and welcoming owner, nothing too much trouble.

Water pressure and temperature suffers a little in the morning when everyone is showering.

It was a beautiful house in a very convenient location. Everything was walkable and free parking was right nearby. Jeffrey the owner also provided helpful information about the area and what to explore.

Classy, tasteful and relaxing.

Beautiful character property in an excellent position facing a pretty garden with fountain. It looks exactly as the photos suggest. Spotlessly clean, quality bed linen and towels. Jeffrey was a knowledgeable and charismatic host and we had some very interesting conversations with him during our three day stay.

As with all hotels in Sarlat, parking is always a problem! We parked a bit out of town and wheeled our case to the hotel.

The hotel is stylish, of high standard and exceptional.

The hotel had the wow factor from the start, looks amazing from the outside and once inside…truly exceptional. The rooms are elegantly finished to a very high standard, with a shared kitchen with fridge and coffee/tea facilities to use at will! The breakfast and room were also of the same high standard and nothing was too much trouble. The owner is very attentive, had great suggestions of were to visit and eat, which was very helpful. The owner is very proud of his hotel and this is obvious by the care and attention to detail.

Our stay in Sarlat was amazing...and staying at Les Cordeliers was perfect!

The host was SO nice and so accommodating. He had good advice and was easy to talk to. The hotel was lovely...we stayed in 2 different rooms since we added on an extra night. Both rooms were amazing! I would go back there again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful and we would love to stay at Les Cordeliers again.

Our whole stay was wonderful. Our host was incredibly helpful and gave us 2 excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfasts were fresh, varied and more than adequate.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

beds were a bit soft for my taste but once I got used to it I was comfortable. there was a coffee station but when I tried to get some there were no cups! A very minor quibble.

Charming, historic hotel in the centre of Sarlat.

Lovely hotel just on the edge of the historic centre of Sarlat. Beautifully restored and full of character. Amazingly spacious room with antique furniture. Everything about it was tastefully executed. And a really scrumptious breakfast. Would definitely recommend to friends. Very knowledgeable host who gave som wonderful recommendations of villages to visit.

Although we were able to find parking on the street without too much difficulty, there is no dedicated parking.

Our stat was romantic and relaxing.

Great hotel , friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Sarlat. The value was amazing it felt like a 5 star hotel! The rooms and property are beautiful and comfortable.

amazing old building, the rooms are so beautiful. ik hey are totally renovated, but still have the charm of the old times. Location is amazing and the village was stunning. Also the owners offer a fantastic breakfast.

lovely building/boutique hotel with very large rooms, quite location yet very close to the centre, room was cool even without aircon, helpful host.

I hadn’t noticed that the room we picked only had a bathtub but no standing shower; my wife loved in but a shower would have been handy

A true gem in the heart of Périgord.

We wanted chic and cosy, and that is exactly what we found at Jeffrey’s Les Cordeliers. We loved it ! Already thinking of coming back in October to enjoy the foliage.

well decorated , spacious and comfortable room in a perfect location for sat lay

loved the decor. the room was a lot more spacious to what we have been used to during our travels across France. and the bed was super comfortable ! also loved the fact that there was free parking just up the street - super convenient. even in august we always found a park easily

would have been good to have a fridge in the room rather than a communal area so we could put our own food and drink in there. otherwise can’t fault anything

Fabulous luxury stay in a most fantastic location

The property was excellently located with just a very short stroll into town. The room was exceptional- huge and exquisitely decorated in a traditional French opulent style. The bathroom was again enormous and extremely stylish. Our host was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat and what to see. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely bed and breakfast, we would highly recommend it.

Jeffrey the host was very friendly and helpful, he has renovated the property beautifully. Very spacious and comfortable suites. The free coffee and tea setup on the staircase is a nice touch. The property is in a great location in close walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this to others visiting Sarlat.
