Our Host, Vincente was excellent. He is very proud of this historic albergue and he adds great personality to a stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the Pilgrims’ meal is very good. I highly recommend this establishment.

It looks a very cute and shabby medieval accomodation.
That weekend we had a race on the circuit. We want a place where we can take a shower at night and sleep near the circuit. When we arrive, there were no hot water and the water is not flow down on the shower, it stay on the tray. The receptionist was drunk. He try to help but soon the water come outside between the floor and the shower. He go out and when he came back his hand is bleeded. I pleased him to change the room but he dont want. We booked a room with worked bathroom. That was not, and he dont want change the room - I asked it twice. We left the hostel 21:05. We find another one far, but really good. I paid in advanve and now I wait back my money :(

A really great Hostal in a fabulous medieval town and with amazing hosts. Alfonso went out of his way to make our stay excellent.

Right on the Camino Frances and opposite the Iglesia Santo Supulcro, this Templar themed hostal is great. I stayed in the albergue on my first Camino but decided to share a room this time. was great to have a private bathroom. the host makes a great coffee.

This is a property full of character in a small village along the Camino. Interesting decor, a safe place to store our bicycles and an excellent Pilgrim menu . The property also doubles as an Albergye with dormitories , we opted for a private room with ensuite.
It was all good!

It was a charming place to stay and our private room was large. It had a beautiful sitting area outside and a short list of good tappas from the bar.
The communal meal was a surprise of pasta with tuna for the main course. I guess we should have asked. Our bed hurt both our backs. Not pleased! The toilet did not function properly.

A beautiful old building, you can definitely believe there's a lot of history in the place! The beds are pretty standard bunks in the sort of attic room - it feels a little cramped because of the number in there and how low the ceiling is. But there are a few alcoves that are curtained off that would maybe feel a little more private for a small group.
The showers and bathrooms were basic but clean. They had a pool, but it's very small and wasn't open when we were there (there's another Albergue in the town with a bigger pool, but it lacks the character and charm of this place!).
The highlight for this though was probably the big family style dinner you can join in with which was lovely and got everyone chatting in their very nice underground dining area/cellar.

The room was great, beds very comfortable. Pilgrim meal good.
The Inn keeper appeared for breakfast, got us our coffee and bread, and then proceeded to remove his pants while still in view of customers and moving around behind the bar area. No seriously, this really happened. Had I been traveling alone as a woman I would be greatly concerned. At the time there were six of us in the little breakfast area. This was totally inappropriate!!!
