About this house rental
Rockpool House is a beautiful recently redecorated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury cottage on the award winning East Coast holiday village The Bay adjacent to Rockpool cottage listing 8355763. Our aim to to provided our guests with a fantastic stay and creating lasting memories. All stays include bedding and towels as well as exceptional cleaning. Where possible we maybe able to offer an early check in times to start your holiday early please ask when booking. Coming to stay for a special occasion please let us know.
On the Complex there is free access to the indoor heated pool, with children's pool, steam room and sauna. A newly refurbished well equipped Gym and children's play area.
Direct beach access to miles of beautiful sandy beach.
Dogs welcome (max 2 small fee)

The house features:
Entrance hall and cloakroom with downstairs WC.
Lounge / Kitchen / Dining – a generous open plan lounge / kitchen / dining with a fully fitted contemporary style kitchen with all integrated appliances and dining area with spacious dining table and seating for 6 people. Double patio doors lead onto the furnished patio with outdoor seating and is surrounded by a large shared garden and landscaped grounds.
Downstairs double bedroom - generous sized double bedroom, wardrobe and side table.
The Master bedroom - has a king size bed, drawer unit and TV mounted on the wall as well as a large wardrobe and an ensuite shower and WC.
Twin bedroom - generous sized twin bedroom, wardrobe, side table and wall mounted tv.
The bathroom is a family bathroom with a shower over bath, cabinet, WC and heated towel rail - ideal for drying your clothes after a day at the pool or beach.
Our house offers a long wheelchair entrance ramp which is ideal for prams/pushchairs.
We supply a cot and highchair free of charge. For a small fee we will welcome well behaved dogs (2 max) and even supply bowls for when they are thirsty after a long walk.
This property is strictly No Smoking and to maintain the family friendly nature of the development we do not allow groups of single guests.
Included in the property letting is unlimited access to a 20m indoor heated swimming pool and gym, tennis and games as well as direct beach access.
For dogs and walkers there are lots of lovely walks. Guests can also book daily children's activities archery and a tennis court. The onsite pub serves great food daily from 12pm and the Italian bistro is open for coffees and snacks and evening pizza takeaway / dining.

A pleasant stay
We had a lovely stay, the host made it extra special for my dads 70th birthday with putting decorations up. Location is great, short walk to a beautiful beach and the facilities are good too. We enjoyed swimming and walks along the beach with the dogs. Would definitely recommend!

Rockpool Cottage
I stayed at Rockpool Cottage for 5 nights with grandparents and 3 children - we all thoroughly enjoyed our week. The house was spotless and comfortable with lovely decor and the host was readily available to answer any queries. The Bay had great facilities, the children enjoyed swimming several times during our stay. I was also really impressed with Filey beach, it had something for all of us! We’ll definitely be returning.

Me, my mum, sister and my 2 year old had a wonderful 4 night stay. The property was spotless and well equipped. The owner was great and easy to communicate with. The bay itself is a great complex and good central location to filey and surrounding towns. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous house in a great location
Rockpool House is simply a lovely place to stay. Beautifully decorated and very well maintained to the highest standards, having everything we needed throughout. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we felt very comfortable (which was reassuring given the current Covid-19 situation). The holiday village itself is very well maintained and presented and has a lovely ‘village’ feel to it – All the staff members we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. “The Bay” is in a fabulous location…From the house it’s about a 10-minute walk to the wide clean sandy beach, and within easy driving distance of Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington as well as many other places of interest. Victoria is a great host and most pleasant and friendly to deal with. We had no complaints at all and would thoroughly recommend staying here – We’ll be back! 😊 Thanks, Victoria, for a wonderful stay!

Lovely break and premises
Lovely house on a well-maintained holiday estate. The property was well furnished and contained everything that the 4 of us needed for a relaxing break. Easy to locate and within short walking distance of a lovely beach and even shorter distance to a nice and friendly pub and despite the Covid 19 restrictions we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property owner and manager was extremely helpful and answered any question we cared to ask. This holiday home is recommended to anyone who wishes to 'get away from it all'

Beautiful home from home
Rockpool house is beautifully decorated throughout, very comfortable beds and nice crisp clean bed linens and plenty of lovely fluffy bath towels. Has all the appliances that you will ever need, dishwasher, dolce gusto coffee machine, washing machine, iron and ironing board all these and more to make your stay perfect. There are even buckets and spades for children to use on the beach. Very comfortable sofas, WiFi, tv and plenty of board games to play to entertain everyone. It was so relaxing to stay here for a winter break. Victoria goes above and beyond to make her guests stay extra special. I highly recommend this beautiful house, we will be back Victoria thank you for such a fabulous holiday in your beautiful house.

The house and location were absolutely perfect for our needs. Rockpool house was spotlessly clean and the Christmas decorations made it feel so homely for our Christmas stay. The welcome pack was also a nice touch.
The owner was very helpful and welcoming before our stay and communication was quick and easy. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back sometime in the future.

The Bay at Filey
The house was all that we could have wished for our short break .
The owner was so helpful and thoughtful with kind touches , like leaving a little hamper and teddies for the children .
I could not fault this property on any level and we would be hoping to go again next year .

Best kept secret
Absolutely lovely house in a fantastic area and perfect location if you have young kids.
A private patio leads to an enormous safe shared playing area directly behind the house. We were 2 families (each with a 5 year old child) and this place is perfect.
Walkable beach, play area, pub, restaurant, arcade, kids entertainment, pool, the list goes on. A more up market style than other shared areas as well.
The house was perfectly located, clean, fresh and well catered for families with a huge selection of games.
I can’t recommend this house enough (even though I just want to selfishly keep it a big old secret!).
We will most certainly be back.

The property was lovely. Very clean and well furnished. The facilities however, were not the best. Food was poor in the pub and in the cafe and service was very slow.

We had a lovely stay at rock pool cottage it was very clean and the kitchen just had every utensil you could think of ... there left us a little welcome basket with treats in ....which I thought was a lovely gesture 😊....would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a break away👍🏼
