Ideal for a family holiday!

Size suited our family, facilities were very good and location just right! Not far from lake

It was really hot during our stay and we all didn’t sleep too well because the bedrooms were so hot at night. Some fans would be a welcome addition for comfort.

It was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend and would be lovely to spend a week in.

It was well equipped and modern. The fireplace was nice and the it was lovely that the firebox was all set up ready to light. Great that there were towels available for the hot tub(unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it).

The hot water ran out after 3 showers and there were 6 of us staying. A separate toilet downstairs would have been nice (only toilet downstairs is in the on-suite off the main bedroom)

Nice house with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice fireplace. Comfortable lounge.

We are disappointed with the upper oven is not working. We used small lower oven.

Spa was nice and beds very comfortable.

There was such a strange, intense foul stench to the entire place. We couldn't figure out what it was. Upstairs tv remote missing (not really an issue, just an observation)

Overheated Gem

The house was modern and well-equipped.

The solitary air-con unit couldn't cool the whole house, in fact it was very warm.

Clean and modern great to have the kayaks ,paddle board, and life jackets for all ages. The spa was lovely and clean beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet with walking distance to the lake it's not right in Taupo CBD but we quite like being a short few kms drive (5ish mins) from CBD to get the quietness and still be walking distance to the lake.

The ovens could go a clean they seem to let off a bit of smokey oven smell due to the build up when being used. We only used the smaller conventional one as we couldn't get main oven to work. Other than that place was great for the 3 kids and 4 adults.

Relaxing Lakeside accommodation that exceeded expectations.

Located literally a street away from the shore of Lake Taupo, we could walk the kayaks and Paddle board directly to lake. Quiet side of lake, but only a few minutes drive into a beautiful town with bountiful eateries and shops. Very clean, hot tub amazing, kitchen was large and made holiday cooking a pleasure with a BBQ also available. Upstairs and downstairs lounging areas with wall mounted TV's in each section. Easy communication with our accommodation hosts, would definitely stay again.

the chairs were too low for the table ,and the beds couldnt be made into singles, we were a group of 6 elderly ladies and some had to sleep together.

a spacious home and kitchen was very well kitted out. comfortable beds and place was very clean. quiet location. loved the Netflix access.

even though we weren’t there in summer the upstairs rooms were hot. we also would have liked a dryer in the laundry.

What is clean and OK but no water for you

The property was clean

The property was advertised as a lake side property there was no lake by the side there was no Waterview whatsoever at all and that was very disappointing should not advertise as a lake side property when there is no view all you can see is other houses around you and a bit of a walk to the water was very very unhappy when we arrived that it was not by the lake the reason I paid that amount of money for that particular property was the pictures and it said Lakeside view I would not have paid that amount of money I would’ve gotten play Somewhere Else by the water had I known very deceiving very deceiving

loved it so much

Had a great stay at this property , i did think the lake was across the road like the pictures but was down the road about 8 min walk . The faclities were great but i was told there was a dryer so i underpacked . Otherwise this place is beautiful the house was super clean the 2 lounges came in handy the kids could watch the movies upstairs and me and hubby downstairs . Loved that we had access to netflix , disney , prime video . The wifi was fast and the home was so lovely and warm . Would stay again xx

House is very clean. Staff were really accomodating with my queries.

Not enough heating / insulation. House is very cold even though the heater and fireplace have been turned on. No heater in one of the rooms too.
