Cobro de penalidad excesiva

La ubicación y la amabilidad de Javier cuando me esperó para el check-in, muy cordial

La reserva original era desde el 26/10, por un cambio de horario de la aerolínea (viaje desde Argentina) no llegaba a término. Solicité ingresar el día 27/10, sin realizar ninguna cancelación, o sea estaría una noche menos, lo que no perjudicaba al propietario porque no pedí ningún reintegro. Soy conciente que la reserva no permitía cambios, ni cancelación, pero Booking en éstos casos te sugiere que pactes con el establecimiento (me ha ocurrido algo parecido en EE. UU y no tuve inconvenientes en coordinar con el establecimiento), siempre y cuando el establecimiento no se vea perjudicado, cosa que hice y no hubo posibilidad de acuerdo con el propietario para ingresar un día después, al hacerlo a través de Booking me cobraron un extra de €173, incluyendo el cargo por servicio de €30, el cual también había sido incluido en el pago original de €513. En resumen me cobraron dos veces el cargo por servicio que suman €60 más una penalidad de €143 por un día de retraso en mí llegada. Reitero, son conciente que la reserva no permitía cancelación ni cambios, pero sólo era cuestión de buena voluntad del propietario en acceder al ingreso un día después, lo que no le ocasionaba ningún perjuicio pues no pedí devolución de la noche que no utilizaría, en el peor de los casos cobrar una penalidad proporcional a una noche del valor total de la estadía pagada. Una cargo excesivo que tuve que abonar para no perder el importe pagado por la estadía total. Un poco de empatía con el huésped estaría mejor, no todo es comercial en la vida.

Lovely studio, nice area, safe, friendly hosts. Home from home. What more can we say. Thank you.

The studio is decorated beautiful. It is small but we knew this. It has everything and more you can want. They have thought of everything. Lovely studio and felt very safe place to stay. Also, got chatting with a few around the pool area. All very friendly. Plenty room around pool. Beds can be hired for 2euro/day. Nice little cafe / bar at pool and secure area so nobody can just walk in from the street. Hosts lovely. Only met Javier but he was very friendly and welcoming.

Nothing to do with the actual studio or the hosts but a few nights there was a dog barking and howling throughout the night. However, we found out later that had we spoken with the maintenance man, and reported this. He would have spoken to the owner about this so I wouldn't call it a complaint and certainly no reflection host and studio as I said. The water bottle for the air con needs emptied pretty much daily I'd say. Just remember to do this as a few times we headed out and forgot and then panicked and had to make our way back to the studio to empty. Certainly didn't want any flooding :-O

Great, clean & well equipped. Good value, prompt communication. Will stay again.

Up the big hill so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but that's true of most places in Benalmadena.

Absolutely superb!

Superb little apartment: clean, well presented, thoughtful touches (iron and mini ironing board, coffee pods, beach towels and parasol, tea-bags, spices), and good quality crockery and cutlery. Shampoo and shower gel, and a small first-aid kit were also provided. There was literally nothing lacking. Supermarkets, bars and beach were all close by. Best holiday apartment I've ever stayed in. Host was very helpful, too. It was a pleasure to stay there.
