About this house rental

2 bedroom plus sleepout, comfortable and affordable bach with heat pump. We are in a quiet location only one street away from the estuary (400m), and a short walk to the beach. We are also only a short walk to the golf course and the Estuary Store/takeaways.
Popular with young families, our yard is private and fully fenced, with plenty of room for the kids to play. We have a gas BBQ and outdoor setting on the large deck.
The Smart TV has freeview, AVI player, and connection to your YouTube/ Netflix account, plus DVD player. We have a good collection of books, games, toys, blocks, and puzzles. We have a kayak, kick scooter, and a beach cruiser bike for renter use.
We have a great heating system to keep you toasty in the winter, in both the house and sleep-out. We find the beds comfortable.

Dolce Gusto Coffee pod maker available. BYO pods.
This is a comfortable family bach. If you are expecting hotel quality please book elsewhere. The bach has 2 bedrooms inside, plus the sleep-out. The house and sleep-out are insulated and in good condition. All beds have duvets and pillows.

The fencing is not dog proof if your dog is determined to escape. Please bring rope if you will be leaving your dog unattended. The yard has trees for shade.

WHAT TO BRING: The bach is self-catering with regards to linen. Bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels, hand towels, and tea towels, toilet paper. There is a washing machine and dryer.
Linen hire is currently not available.

Rent negotiable during winter months, May-Nov for long term stays of 3 months plus.

PARKING: There is off-street parking for two vehicles in the driveway. There's plenty on-street parking also.
Special conditions:
** DOGS: On negotiation only. Please let me know how many dogs you want to bring. Please remove your dogs deposits so the yard is clean for the next family.
**Families preferred, no parties.
**Smoking allowed outside only
**No tents or caravans. No camping.

Extras: Cleaning NZ$85 per stay. Please be considerate of the cleaners by not leaving the place too messy; Linen (Property manager charge) (Optional, NZ$32.00 per person); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels, and toiletries incl toilet paper);

Great little beach themed Kiwi bach. Perfect for our weekend away. Very well presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. Not too far from estuary and beach, fairy and.takeaways down the road, short drive to town/shops/cafes/restaurants. Easy check in process and fast and friendly communication from Nicky the host. We would love to come stay again, thank you for having us and letting us bring our little doggie Layla

Fantastic - quiet - and relaxing stay. Limited turning area for parking - trees could be trimmed to provide larger area. Bathroom cold tap also needs a new washer - as drips.

A lovely weekend away, with our family and our dog. Full fenced section, which was great for the dog. The place had everything we needed for our time away. Thank you, we will be back. If we could give feedback, the only thing would be to prune back the trees near the decking area.

A nice place to stay for that break away but close enough to hear the ocean at night. A great spot for us and our fur baby to spend the weekend. Easy walk to the beach. Great communication and house set up with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Ultra fragrant plants outside providing a nice surprise.

Nice weekend away as we enjoyed the walk to beach and dairy close by . Great space on deck, great space in sleepout for teenagers . Bedding comfortable for our family of 5. Use of air con to cool or heat us great bonus. Appreciated it was dog friendly but the driveway gate was easy for them to slip thru large gate rails.Happily our dog does stay close to us all the time, but needed to be tied up or confined if we left the property without her. Thanks for excellent communication and extra items available for use at the holiday home.

Batch style, perfect for young family and dog. Fenced yard to run around. The kids enjoyed climbing the Feijoa tree and eating the fruit. Drive or pram to beach.

A nice little beach house, 10-20 min walk to the beach and/or estuary. The outside room was great for our teenager to retreat to. It really had everything we needed for a weekend away.

Rainy week in Whanga, but we were comfortable and dry at the bach. Our third time there now. Wifi and netflix kept us going. Nicky was extremely accommodating and caring given the flooding and slips occurring around whangamata. Thank you Nicky. We will be back again, hopefully to a sunny Whanga.,

We enjoyed our stay at whangamata, 10 walk to the estuary, the batch was clean and tidy. Great communication. The only issue we had was there is no turning space down the long drive way and the trees and shrubs are very over grown, which resulted in our car being scratched.

We had a wonderful few days in this bach, situated in a quiet convenient location. Everything we needed was provided. The furnishings were good and the beds were comfortable. We were able to take our dog and he loved lying on the deck in the sun in between great walks on the beach & estuary. We hope to stay again.

This is a great wee house to stay at! We took two young Norwich Terriers with us for two nights.They were happy and settled but we didn't let them loose outside, (probably more through our paranoia and a couple of hens hanging around). It was really quiet and we were close to everything we needed. The house was very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for being dog friendly Nicky.
