Staff super gentile, location fantastica e struttura meravigliosa

The history of the building, proximity of the ferry and panglao.
I liked everything

Tutto ok

Very nice hostel, in a Bali style, staff was very helpful.
Room smelled a bit musty

Great Hostel. Staff was really nice and the house is a dream!

one of the best place I’ve had! the host made you feel like you’re home. gives you the old grand parents house vibes.
4.5
it’s really close to the port, 10 minutes walking distance and a 5 minute walk to several restaurants and 7-Eleven; the staff was really nice and very helpful
the shower didn’t have hot water but the staff offered me to shower at theirs

Kind hosts, helped a lot with information. The house is very beautiful, historical. The garden is also wonderful. Nice common areas. The hotel is within walking distance of the port and the center. Hot water in the shower is available continuously.
The breakfast was delicious, but it was served almost an hour later than what was ordered. Karaoke was very loud in the hotel garden almost every night.

Lovely stay at Oasis Balili. The owner Raymond, his family and staff are extremely welcoming. I was traveling alone and felt a bit sick and they even offered to bring me to their doctor.
A lot of history in the house.
Location is ideal from the Tagbilaran ferry. Just a 15/20 min walk or you can take a tricycle for around 25 pesos.
I have choosen the cheapest room with fan. Probably worth it to choose one of the rooms downstairs were you also have hot showers

The Property is awesome, it's a heritage property, Privileged to stay there. The owner (Balili family lady) of the property is very nice to the guests, I really loved meeting her.
Really nothing

It is a travel back in time. I fully recommend this hostel.
- cold showers
- thin mattresses (still ok)

Staff very friendly
Nice building
Nice People around there
The beds are pretty basic.
Next to the building is a school. If you sleep on this side you'll have to get up early due to the sound level

near the center but in a quiet street. old house with a lot of history converted in a nice hotel/hostel. the dorms were nice and comfortable but with the common things of an old house. there are showers with hot water, be sure to ask which ones. nice and helpful staff and the best internet I found in the country. I would definitely stay again

Gorgeous house, lovely staff, hot shower, good Wi-Fi, scooter rental

The location is a walking distance from the port. Very nice place with a garden - real oasis I would say. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building preserves the air of history. I recommend it.
4.5
the staff is very friendly and helpful
the lock of the door is way too crude, easy to break it
no hook in the shower room
light is really dark in room
no hair dryer to borrow
4.5
The staff were friendly. The dorm room with 4 beds was spacious and clean with mosquito nets for each bed. There was a big storage shelf for each bed.
The power sockets are far from the bed (it is a heritage building so understandable). There is no hot water in the shower and the water pressure in the washbasin is poor..The AC unit makes a lot of noise for the dorm room. Mosquitoes are a pain.

The history of the place, I was like transported back in time. I also like the fast wifi connection, the location, the trees surrounding the house, and the super friendly & knowledgeable staff. They organized a New Year’s Eve party and invited all of the guests - a nice touch of Filipino hospitality for those traveling solo.
None.

Gloria and her entire staff were so friendly and helpful! she invited me to stay for a Christmas Eve party where she treated everyone (friends, family and guests) with a huge feast including a roasted pig. we had a gift exchange and danced/sang/played games all night. i really felt a part of something special.

I had an amazing stay at Oasis Balili! it really is a home away from home! A beautiful house, spacious dorms, it's clean and the staff is 10/10 super nice! And make sure not to miss eating at their restaurant. Local home cooked dishes that change daily and for a really good price! I hope to come again in the future, thank you so much for an unforgettable stay ❤️
The dogs next door had the Bork Olympics every night 😆

Excellent ambiance, nice and quiet. The house is a great piece of history, and sincere thanks to Mr. Rey for sharing a bit of this with us on our first night. They let us use the kitchen once, and the in-house eatery sells beer and grilled meats.
No bidets in the restrooms, limited number of restroom/bathrooms (2 each), lots of mosquitoes so keep repellent handy.

The lady Gloria .... exemplary madam

The staff is super friendly and the place is really charming.
The breakfast is really nice and tasty.

Gloria and Ray are amazing hosts, I felt at home in the Balili house.
I planned to stop for one night on my way to Panglao, but stayed for a week.
The house is beautiful and full of history! A perfect Basecamp to explore the hole Bohol island (better located then Alona and far from the harassing crowd).
The hosts are eager to help you plan your journey!
The accomodations are far above local standards and it is easy to rent a motorbike.

Their hospitality was great. I would strongly recommend this place to everyone.
Mmm it's nice and quiet.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you have an eye for an affordable place to stay and the heart for something of historical relevance, this is the place to be.

The lodge is easy to find and within walking distance from the port as well as shopping malls. I was there only in transit but the terrace was lovely for some morning reading. Mattress and pillow were surprisingly comfortable given how thin they appeared. For a historic house, it is certainly in good condition and kept clean! I also had the Filipino breakfast and would certainly recommend that to fuel up for the day - probably best to order the night before to give time to prepare.
I had a spider visit while I was in the bathroom trying to figure out how to work the shower - not exactly my idea of being surrounded by nature but some might admittedly appreciate it!
