Really lovely apartment, it was exactly what I wanted

The location was excellent, I did not feel there were any issues with noise. It was just minutes to the centre, to bus stop snd to the seafront and had great views to the sea

The equipment in the kitchen was minimal. A pair of scissors, a small pan and a toaster would be really useful. I was not a fan of the induction hob. There were no side tables in the lounge area to put drinks etc on

Exceptional

Great location, very nice and clean house. After our arrival we were welcomed by Madeira wine and pie. It was really a pleasure to stay there.

Parking in front of the house is not reserved, but we were able to park there in 90%.

Great value for money, nice place to stay

Beautiful location, Santa Cruz is a great place to stay. The house was very clean, the lady was very welcoming and nice, and the view is excellent. The balcony is very narrow, but we managed to sit outside. Wifi works fine

some things need updating, there are no wineglasses, scissors, no normal coffee cups, just big mugs.

Great place for exploring Madeira for couples/small families

Loved Mrs Martha, she was so nice and accommodating, cleaniness, so near to supermarket, buses, restaurants. Got lucky with the buses as they seemed to turn up when and where we wanted to go but they are not clear with what their number is and where they go. If in doubt ask! Like the hardcopy leaflets available.

Having to remember to tidy everything up to avoid coming back to ants. Aeroplane noise was loud when taking off to the South west (i.e. right in front of property) but it can save on transport costs as it only takes 20mins to walk to and from the airport. Buses were complicated to understand and websites not the clearest. Didn't like having a bathroom away from thw bedroom, and although quirky, didn't like the spiral staircase. Wind can be an issue so be careful with windows and shutters. Balcony is over a sheer drop so be careful with walking out on it and hanging things on the line.

My stay was amazingly comfortable in this independent, self-contained and ideally located Santa Cruz home.

Antonio and the other hosts were extremely helpful. Assisting with my use of the stovetop and the laundry machine. They also offered transport tips and tips about sights to visit.

everything was MARVELOUS.

Wonderful place to stay for a holiday trip. Great two weeks. Mrs Martha (owner) have us fresh fruits from her garden (delicious!) Very clean house, perfect window view, great equipment in the kitchen (oven, microvawe, coffe machine) Highly recommend this place!

You really need to get wine glasses 😉😉😉

Lovely place, friendly host.

Very friendly host with a beautiful organic garden, she gave us fresh fruits and a tour around her tropical garden 😊Perfect location and wonderful view! There is a clean and nice bathroom. A narrow balcony to squeeze a chair into. We really enjoyed our stay in Santa Cruz, lovely little town with everything so near by - supermarket, town square with small shops and restaurants, beach, fruit and fish market.

The beds were a little bit hard (with Swedish standards) - but was much better than in the previous place we stayed in on Madeira. Kitchen was ok but could have more cupboards, equipment and work surfaces. You can hear the traffic and sometimes aeroplanes.
