The 1st room we were given for an 8-day stay was very small and did not match my expectations based on the images shown on this site. They pictures are extremely misleading. In addition the reception staff were very unhelpful as the hotel was not full yet they would not move us to a larger room until the hair dryer caught on fire and the General Manager was involved in the situation. There were 3 members of staff who deserve recognition in providing good customer service- the remainder of the staff were dismissive, rude, untruthful and clearly should not be in the hospitality profession.
The rudeness of the front desk staff, the extremely slow service in the restaurant, the hair dryer which nearly caught my hair on fire, being told the gym wasn’t open at 10:30 in the morning, housekeeping continually forgetting the correct number of towels/fresh water/kitchen items/tissue. Very unexceptionable for a supposed 5* hotel. There was an illusion of quality but clearly there was no motivation nor desire for most of the staff to provide anything close to 5* service.

The rooms were spacious, and the staff and service were fantastic! Check-in was easy, and the hotel accommodated our request for two rooms near each other. In fact, they were next to each other with a common internal door which worked great for us as we spurred our 16 year old daughter along to maintain our schedule! We loved being a short, five minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, and we enjoyed exploring the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower neighbourhoods in the opposite direction.
We only had one issue which involved the air conditioning in the room. It was working, but for some reason, it wasn't as cool as our daughter's room. The staff rallied and brought us an additional standalone unit for the room which made sleeping very comfortable. Great service!

Great location. Stayed here before, so familiar with the location.
There seems to a problem with the air-conditioning. I spent a whole night in a hot room. after being told it will take a while to cool down. The next day, they admitted that the air-con was broken and moved me to a different room, where the air-con worked slightly better. I was surprised they didn't know about the condition of the aircon before I moved in.
The staff were generally very friendly and helpful except on the last day when the chap at the reception became very rude because I was checking out an hour late. Having been delayed by an ART test, I found myself locked out of my room and had to go to reception to get my key card reset. A bit rude after having spent 4 days there.

Location, space inside the apartment, staff attendance to our needs
Fridge door did not close properly. Cutlery bit on the iffy side. no sharp knives, bread boards etc.

Great location for my work, plus superb location for tourism if that is why you are here.
Its nice and stylish and the beds are big and comfy.
The highlight for me really are the super friendly staff.
The pool is nice and quiet place to swim and relax (I managed to squeeze it in by being there on the dot when it opened at 8am)
My wife joined for a couple of days at end of the trip and the staff were as kind to her as they were to me. In fact they were probably kinder :-)
Pool and gym opening hours are 8am to 6pm is not very flexible for those who are here for business purposes and honestly I dont see the need for the restrictions as they are both unmanned with security cameras.
Issues with the aircon in my original room on 4th floor so after various attempts to fix it and 3 very disturbed sleeps (it was very hot and had to sleep with windows open to get room to a sensible temperature) I was moved to a larger suite on 2nd floor. Unfortunately whilst that fixed the aircon issue it then generated a new issue as it was on the front of the hotel and right outside the window is the delivery bay for the Penninsula hotel - the deliveries there start circa 5.30am and carry on sporadically until it is time to get out of bed at 7.58 to get to the pool for my 8am pre work swim.

Great location, my office is just across the street and of course it is close to so many tourist spots if you are here for tourism. Friendly staff, the swimming pool is a nice calm oasis with a huge mirrored wall of water. That is unless someone with children rocks up and then as it is in a basement the noise is deafening so I had to leave. Gym looks very well equiped.
Didnt use any of the other facilites as was just there one night for this trip. Small kitchenette with coffee facilities although I didnt see that there was any milk.
Bed was comfy and at the side of the bed was this adapator box that had twin usb socket, UK socket, US socket and Euro socket so if you forget your adaptor then no worries.
Air con was not set correctly. I returned to my room after work and an evening out circa 10.30pm and it was like a sauna.
The staff came promptly and eventually found the thermostat as it had been hidden behind a lamp. A setting hadnt been changed so they changed it, however I had to keep the windows open to let some fresh air in to cool the space down. It took until 2.30am to get the room to a temperature to be able to sleep and of course with the windows open there was a fair amount of general noise (it is a city). With the windows closed the general noise abated.
This is very minor, but if you leave chocolates on my bed please turn it down :-) (the beds are VERY well made so youll take a bit of effot to get it untucked - probably the best tucked in bed I have ever come across)
Wifi was a bit hit and miss. I managed to log on to my work account and it was working for the basics of what I needed however other things just wouldnt work so I ended up going to my office for the last few hours of the day after I had just arrived.

The interior was luxurious and the toiletries.
The staff was not so social, the towels in the bathroom did not change and the bed was not comfortable. There was something wrong with the mattress which made you lie at an uncomfortable angle. Also the
duvet cover was quite rough and not so soft.

very friendly staff, always trying to accommodate and help
room are not that spacious, the curtains do not cover the entire window therefore there is always some ray of lights in the room not helping for a goos night of sleep
not to mention the noise in the street, for sure the hotel is not responsible for this but something must be done given the neighborhood
and finally a lunch made of a Caesar salad and smoked salmon which costs €99 is a bit much

Suite Rooms are really big and price is fair for Paris standards
Maybe outdated furniture, but it does not matter, really spacious rooms
lobby 1st impression is not too good
Road is a bit noisy at night mostly with street cleaning trucks

Charming hotel, a bit old fashion in style. Very professional, helpful and friendly staff. Room to expectation, looked like the pictures on web. Location perfect on quiet side street, walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées and La Tour Eiffel.
Just minor details, the mini shampoo bottles were too sturdy, impossible to squeeze out shampoo/body wash/conditioner. The kitchenette in the studio apartment needs a face-lift.
