Dinner was a Huge disappointment. Only a few dishes. Breakfast was good
One of ur waitress rudeness to stop us as we walking out of the breakfast aeria we to ask us Out Loud in front of the other guest if we paid for our breakfast. Was so embarrassed. People was looking at us. Ruined my daughter special 30th birthday celebration. Will never come stay @ ur hotel again

Suite views are immaculate. Suites are comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast buffet needs work. The food is fully halal which was the deciding factor but the quality of the food at breakfast was not good. Room service oddly enough was good though

Breakfast was delicious with a wide range. The staff was welcoming and the room was in good quality.
The sausage at breakfast was below average, abit chunky and undercooked. The room I got had a leak in the bathroom

everything was great

The peaceful nature and the decent sized room with a balcony view. Staff were friendly and room service was good.
The shower needs redoing. When showering, the water runs out on to the floor of the toilet causing water wastage. I'd also recommend transitioning to smart TV's as it would be beneficial for visitors to watch what they want instead of the same old DStv content.

Buffet breakfast was good value
Bathroom was not serviced

We were very warmly welcomed by Raafiq at reception. We had the buffet dinner which was a bit pricey. We had booked a family room. The rooms were very spacious but dated. The beds and pillows are rock hard and we are sad to say we did not have a good sleep. The included breakfast is very good value.
Rooms need updating, I would highly recommend changing the mattress and pillows. Should have at least two pillows per guest, one soft and one hard.

environment outside
Place is dirty, room was not cleaned, carpets are so disgustingly dirty, the food was miserable.

Great breakfast, staff polite and welcoming
Bug in bathroom, no tissues in room, no tv remote in interleading room.

The Capetonian hotel was phenomenal!
The staff were absolutely friendly and worked hard to accommodate any of our requests. They also went over board and kept our goods in their freezer. Rooms were absolutely clean and comfortable. House keeping ensured that it stayed that way daily and were friendly. The breakfast was fully halaal and staff were incredible. The chef comes out to greet you and walk you through the menu and staff make sure all your needs are taken care of. The location is pretty central, 2 min drive to the VNA waterfront. Used the gym daily. Had basic equipment but enough for a good workout. Overall, an amazing 11/10 hotel
Parking could be a bit more secure but it did the job

Noisy over weekend could not get good rest on Friday night windows need to be made sound proof

Our second stay this year. For the price will book again. Location is good plus with available halal meal option. It is really nice to see familiar staff faces. Overall, its a good stay.
Hope the hotel can continue with the maintenance and future renovations.

The breakfast was very nice and the staff very friendly from the reception to the cooks ,, we had to wait about at hour for our room to be done but the reception made it all worthed as he made sure we got some beverages and some dessert before he went off from work ,, thank you so much I can’t remember his name ,, and thank you to the manager of that day for giving us complimentary grape juice as we did not know the romantic arrival the prices increased so we could not get the full package but the manager of that day made it all worthwhile ,, sorry I’m not good with names but thank you once again for an excellent service rendered from all staff at Capetonian hotel 🙏❤️👏💯👌👌
We didn’t like the outside parking area as we were concerned about our car ,, strangers were making a noise late at night and our car was in the open ,, and even though our view was facing to the parking area we still could not see our car ,, if it’s able to get us underground parking for next time please and maybe a view to the sea

Staff were friendly and the location was great for where I had meetings.
I couldn't find the Club lounge and the gym which are apparently on the 2nd floor. The breakfast was extremely limited in selection, especially for hot food. There was no plug to fit a standard 3 pin plug by the desk. Most of the listed TV channels weren't available. The shower drain seemed to be partially blocked as the water would collect and run out of the shower enclosure.

We were pleasantly surprised by a upgrade to the suite room on the 12th floor.
The breakfast was really good, and as a Muslim, I really liked that the food was halal
Also liked that there was a sign showing the qibla direction for praying salah
A good place for Muslim travellers to stay at
We found a stain on the duvet, there was no soap in the bathroom from the second day (apparently due to a supply issue, but either way it hampered our stay), the lock on the toilet door was broken and we reported this twice to the staff but it never got fixed.

They have to do enhancement in the rooms

Good location. Staff are friendly and the room is nice and big
The room phone was not working. Also there is no 2 point plug to charge the phone.

Friendly staff. Room was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable.
Value for money.
Definitely come back.
The TV reception was very poor.
Limited channels.

The company of my friends, in a comfortable setting.
I was told that because I'm spending the night, the buffet would be R194 per person. After supper, I was informed that the front staff made a mistake when they said it would be R194 and that I would have to pay R265. This wasn't very cool, at all, as it wasn't my mistake but I had to pay for it. If I had known we would have gone out for supper.

The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
the breakfast was disappointing., same food every day and the side veg dishes was very oily. the scramble eggs was disappointing. Cape has a seaport but fish was not severed once during my seven day stay. oily sausages everyday.
I booked at the capetonian thinking it was a halaal hotel that EID breakfast would be served. However i was disappointed, there was no vibe.

When i checked in the room is was really bad ie the tv didn't work the shower flooded and the phone did not work. The balcony door was also hard to open and there was no plug in the basin and hair in the basin aswell. The only saving grace was Shakeel that i spoke to and arranged a beautiful room that seemed to reduce my stress and my wife disappointment
check that the room is up to standard and all ammenities is correct and working ie tv ;phone and having a spare blanket is a nice touch

Everything. Rafeek at reception was very friendly and helpful.
Carpets needs deep cleaning by professionals as its dirty and smelly.
