EXCELENTE APART HOTEL, IDEAL PARA FAMILIAS O VIAJE POR TRABAJO. LAS HABITACIONES, COCINA, BAÑO, ETC.. DE PROMERA. BUENA CALEFACCION Y UNA VISTA INSUPERABLE!!!! MUY BIEN
LA UBICACION PERMITE UNA VISTA INCREIBLE DEL LAGO PERO A LA VEZ, ESTA UN POCO LEJOS DEL CENTRO COMO PARA CAMINARLO TODOS LOS DIAS. PEOR AUN SI ESTA LLOVIENDO.
LO DEMAS, EXCELENTE

Claudia was wonderful and very accomodating when our flights were cancelled and we couldn’t arrive until a day after expected. Our luggage was also lost and delivered to Kinkumay after our check out - after lots of drama it was lovely for everything to be so smooth at Kinkumay! Thanks for everything, we’ll be back! Highly recommend, beautiful spot and view and centrally located.

Great location, great view and excellent service.
The bathroom did not seem very clean with black mold on the shower caulking and mushrooms growing in a corner.

Very comfortable apartment and close to the main area with gorgeous view of the lake and the volcanos. The sunrise is stunning from the apartments

I loved the space, the view was incredible, the place was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. They clean the rooms daily and wash the dishes which is a plus when you don't have a dishwasher. We felt safe, we never heard our neighbors except when using the showers but this was only if you were in the bathroom at the time. Overall, top place!
It's not what I didn't like but what could be improved. The hotel was hard to reach. We used WAZE and it sent us through an unpaved road next to the railroad which led to the back of the apart-hotel. I could enter but my husband had to drive around a big detour to get to the front.
Also, if you arrive to check-in after 4 pm it could be a problem. We found other guests who came later and were not advised on how to get their keys. They were calling the hotel phone number but no one answered. Their front desk is only open until 4:00 pm. They do have a safe lock where you can probably retrieve the keys with a code but they didn't have any information. They should have someone answering the phone at all times, especially when expecting guests who didn't arrive by the time they closed the office.
The small shower (there were two) was a bit broken but they fixed it immediately and I was impressed by their efficiency. Also, if you open the tap water to the fullest when taking a shower, the drainage can't take it and the water level starts increasing a bit. But this wasn't really a problem for us, unless you have 4 adults and you are the last one to step in the shower.
The place was very clean, except the kids room. When I wanted to use the shelves, there were some dead insects on it, it looked as if they had forgotten to clean there that day. At the end of our stay I looked underneath the beds to get something and it was not totally clean. Probably because the bed bases are so low and it's hard to reach but I was surprised to see so much dust.

The location was great - looking over the lake toward the main volcanoes. It was a short walk to town - less than 10 min. While at night the last part of the walk is a bit dark, it is easy and feels very safe. The proprietor, Claudia, is exceptionally helpful. We had a problem with a theft from our car in a national park, and she helped us make the police report, translating and then also obtaining the written police report since it was not going to be available before we left the area. We can't thank her enough for all her help. The rooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. Beds are very good. Great to wake up and look out toward the volcanoes. Being a bit away from town, it is very quiet and peaceful. Nice yard in front to sit out and have a cup of coffee or use the grill overlooking the lake.
It took a little while for the room to heat up, but if you set the heaters on high, the place gets plenty warm after a little while and you'll definitely want to turn them down.

We loved our stay at ApartHotel Kintumay. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. The property was communicative and helpful before we arrived because I had several questions about the check in process. They were always very prompt to reply and assured us that they could help us set up anything we needed.
The location is incredible because the views of the lake and volcanoes are spectacular. Every room has full glass windows so each room has views of the area. The walk to town is about 10 minutes. IT was very easy and we loved being a bit outside the edge of the town because it was so peaceful. There is a very short gravel hill for then last 100 meters yup to the property. We had no difficulty with this, and we never used our car once we got to the hotel. However, those with limited mobility could find the walk to and from town challenging.
We had a family style rom, which had a master, and a 2nd bedroom with two twins. We were only two people, so we did not use the 2nd bedroom. However, it would be comfortable for a small family. The kitchen was small and simple but had all we needed for our 2-day stay. There are two burners for cooking, a kettle, and a toaster. We ate dinner in one night, and we enjoyed being able to eat and watch the amazing sunset from our room.
It was also nice to have heating in each room to control the temperature, which is challenging to find in Chile. It does get cool after dark, so this made sleeping very cozy. The beds were also great, hot water was plentiful and the wifi worked well. I would stay at ApartHotel Kintumay any time I am in Puerto Varas. The town is adorable and there are many lodging options with views, but for the unobstructed views we had, the price and the spaciousness, the value of this hotel can’t be beat.
I have no complaints, but the wifi is spotty outside of the living area. And, because the hotel has floor to celling windows, bugs and dust get in. It was a very clean accommodation, but we did have some dead insects in the corners of the rooms. I don't think this can be avoided because the location is surrounded by nature.

We rented for 3 days a studio that is totally self-contained including microwave. Very clean, private entrance up one flight of stairs. Fabulous view overlooking the lake Well laid out for two people. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and fabulous wifi; best we’ve had in Chile within 10 - 15 minute walk to center of town & grocers, shops and restaurants. Everything needed was supplied. Daily cleaning, friendly and welcoming staff. We’d come back without hesitation!
We loved this place. One tiny suggestion; they have outdoor barbecues with tables also overlooking the lake. Would be great if they supplied briquettes for people, especially those from outside Chile.
