Totally lived up to expectations! Our room was comfortable with plenty of room, fridge, nice bed, big window, and updated bathroom. The vintage building is charming and the location is excellent, just blocks to the subway to access all Munich has to offer...and within sight of the Oktoberfest grounds. Parking is available, but limited and cannot be reserved. The staff were friendly and very helpful!
Our room had a courtyard view, which was more a view to the alley between the back of the property and the business behind. While we weren't in Munich to see the hotel view, there was some noise particularly week nights.

Location is near to every place , stuff are nice, place is clean , hospitality and size of the room was big, free coffee and tea and brunch all the day
That the room was without air conditioner but as the weather is not hot so the fan and opening the windows was enough

The hotel was empty, no receptionist. They close their business hours at 6pm you have to call a number and have a german phone handy otherwise there is no way to call them naturally. I was lucky to have a german phone number so I called and receive the pin to get in the hotel, reception was empty, I dont care much about the reception but I had to find the room myself and all worked luckily. The bath is small but clean. I didnt like the shampoo/soap it had a bad smell but whatever.. is a hotel. The bed was comfy. the wooden floor rattled when walking. Neighborhood does not have much stores, you have to walk a bit.

Breakfast was great!
No Air conditioning. Our room was hot and we had to sleep with windows open but there are no screens and bugs came in. Also since we were on the first floor, we could smell cigarrette smoke from the street. Fans might have helped.

Hotel Uhland was the best lodging experience we have ever had in Europe. The room was first rate in every way. Our concierge was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was a couple of blocks from the U-bahn with great connections. Munich is a civilized gem.

they have NO lift, which is very necessary, especially when your room is at the 4th floor. they should have at least an elevator for the luggage.
rooms are slightly colder during nightime

Location is amazing near Tollwood Winter Market and east walk or transit to Marienplatz. Breakfast is easy and has a good European style selection.
The hotel is cute, quaint and quiet. It was only a little warm but it is better than being cold and every hotel is warm here in the winter.

Old, stylish mansion, not far from the city center. Easy transport access, U and S-bahn stations are quite near
The sewer system doesn’t work properly

Location especially during the Octoberfest was perfect! Room was really good size. Even though the hotel is located close to the Octoberfest area it was still nice and quiet.
The shower overflowed to the bathroom.

The shower was either super cold or hot. Apart from that, everything was superb in the room. The receptionist was cool.
Breakfast staff. Rude, but we realized that’s the German culture overall.
