Jederzeit wieder!!! Wohlfühl-Oase! Sauber und tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Super schönes, übersichtliches Hotel und sehr sauberes Hotel in einer netten Seitenstraße, nur wenige Minuten vom touristischen Zentrum entfernt. Das Hotel hat die perfekte Größe, nicht zu klein und nicht zu groß mit einem tollen Pool im Mittelpunkt. Von nahezu jedem Zimmer hat man einen schönen Ausblick. Die Zimmer sind modern und hell eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sehr sauber und ordentlich. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Es gibt jeden Morgen von 7 bis 10 Uhr kostenfrei ein kleines Frühstücksbuffet mit Croissants, Toast, Marmelade, Kaffee und Tee. Man kann für 250 Baht / Tag direkt im Hotel Roller mieten, die in einem sehr guten Zustand sind. Alles ganz unkompliziert und schnell. Der nächst gelegene Strand ist zu Fuß ca 5 In entfernt, ebenso die Einkaufsstraße. Mehrmals in der Woche findet ein toller Nachtmarkt in der Nähe statt, der aber besser per Roller zu erreichen ist.

Magical and comfy place

Girl at the front desk was very kind and offered me to upgrade from block building to individual bungalow. It was an amazing experience.

Für diesen Preis, ist das Hotel in seiner Kategorie einfach Top!

Wenn man ein Häusschen am Pool bekommt, ist das alles was man braucht und fühlt sich sehr wohl! Sehr süsses Hotel, einfach und sauber. Hier habe ich mich 100Mal besser gefühlt als in den Überteuerten Luxusbunkern am Strand.

Excellent Stay as always

Lovely small villas located around a central pool. Love the additional unofficial croissants, toast coffee and jam put out each morning for guests to enjoy. Quite location out of the main town but still only a 5 min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk into town.

Personnel peu agréable. Chambre réservée pour 2 adultes et 1 enfant mais pas de serviette pour l'enfant et aucune serviette pour s'essuyer les mains....

Very peaceful

Nice and simple accomodation, quiet area, everything really neat and tidy and well maintained. Really appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff are at reception! They have push bikes for hire too so you can get around town and enjoy a ride.

Podría tener mejor puntuación si cuidaran más las instalaciones y el personal fuera más amable

La cama era cómoda.

Las habitaciones tenían agujeros en las esquinas y entraban hormigas que hasra subían a la cama. El personal un poco borde, por ejemplo, nos íbamos a las 7.15 a hacer una excursión, el desayuno empieza a las 7 y a esa hora ya estábamos allí esperando para desayunar rápido, la chica nos vio y justo lo puso cuando nos fuimos, obviamente sin desayunar. La ducha no tenía agua caliente, no hay toalla de manos ni jabón. A pesar de notarse limpio las sábanas y las toallas no tenían mucho olor a limpio, de hecho hicimos uso del servicio de lavandería y la ropa nos vino con olor a humo. La ubicación no es muy buena, está a 20 minutos caminando del centro, supermercados, locales etc. Lo bueno que tiene es el precio.

Super schöner Aufenthalt

Sehr schöner Bungalow und alles sehr gepflegt. Es war die Beste Unterkunft die wir auf unserer Rundreise hatten. Pool und die Liegen alles top. Frühstück könnte man sich kostenlos nehmen und war besser als bei manchen Hotels wo wir dafür gezahlt haben. Günstige Getränke kann man vor Ort kaufen. Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Roller Verleih übers Hotel alles reibungslos. In ca 10 Minuten alles fußläufig erreichbar. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Perfect stay in khao lak, want to return already!

Everything!! Loved the pool, the rooms, the staff, the location was close to everything but far away enough that it was quiet at night! The staff also sorted us out a taxi to Phuket for a good price which was really helpful.

Geweldige mensen, heerlijk verblijf

Hele vriendelijke mensen, alles werd voor ons geregeld. Er zat geen ontbijt bij de boeking, maar elke ochtend kon je in de koffiehoek lekkere bonenkoffie pakken en een broodje of croissantje met fruit. Het centrum en het strand is op loopafstand.

Great stay in Khao-Lak

The hotel is modern and really good. The owner takes great care of the hotel and tries to improve it. The rooms have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable. The aircon is quiet. The room service is great. I received 3 bottles of still water every day, fresh towels, etc. The ladies work very hard to keep the hotel clean. The pool was great. Light self-service breakfast is provided. You can make your tea/coffee or warm up ready made meals in the microwave . The hotel staff are very friendly and polite and speak good English. They kindly borrowed me an iron to iron my clothes. Everything was great. The location was close for the beach in the morning. Please note that when you come to the beach, there are stairs down to the beach itself. Both sides of the shore are covered with massive stones/rocks which you need to pass by in the shallow water with sand for about 30 - 50 meters. In the afternoon, because of the tide, the water arrives and you can no longer return the same way as the water now covers these massive rocks and it can be dangerous due to strong waves. There's another way to walk back but that will take you at least 20 min to get to the hotel. On some mornings you cannot get to the beach because of the tide also so need to take a long walk.

The room I stayed was on the 1st floor, above the kitchen/breakfast area. Every day from about 6.40am - 7am I would be woken up by people dragging heavy chairs on the tiled floor in the breakfast area. These chairs need some felt or fabric to be glued to the legs or covered with something. The room was quite noisy also because people congregate there thoughout the day and sometimes late at night. You can hear everything in the room. Also, I wish the lady in the reception provided more accurate information about the breakfast. I was only told that 'breakfast is not provided. It's only toast, tea and coffee'. As I do not eat bread, do not drink tea or coffee, I did not even go there. However, at some point I noticed some mini croissants and towards the end of my stay I noticed some fruit (watermelon and pineapple). I do not know whether the fruits were provided every day or only for Christmas. It would be great if the hotel communicated that properly. If I knew there were fruits every day, I would definitely had some earlier and not only on the last 2 days. Anyway, the hotel is great. These are only small things and hopefully will be taken on board.

Didn’t recommend

We came late in the evening (21:30) and the receptionist had sent me a picture of their service hours which ended at 21:00, though the info says check in is up to 00:00. So they met us as if we should have come earlier. In the room there was no water, the toilet was broken so water didn’t full the tank, the shower was leaking when taking a shower. The stay was really disappointing. I would not recommend it. I don’t know what it has rather high reviews.

We stayed two nights only, to visit Similan Islands and the staff was great - they helped us and arranged everything needed for this one day trip and helped us with other organisation as well. Resort is nice and clean, the pool is good but haven’t spent a lot of time here as we were in short with time.

Very lovely stay, quiet and very clean room, will stay again!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Light Khao. It's a short walk from the main Street and a small grocery store and self serviced laundry just down the road. We had the family room which was perfect for our family of 5 and the kids loved playing in the pool after a day of exploring the activities. The staff was also very friendly and helpful - the lovely girl at the recruiting during the day (sorry we never knew your name) even helped us booked a couple of day trips to Surin & Similan islands and airport transfer. Would definitely stay here again!

If we are picky, perhaps just a block too far from the main Street for our kids with their little legs! But it didn't bother us at all.
