Staff was amazing & caring
A/C was relatively weak & unable to cool room but it was likely because it was hot 32 high & 27 nighttime low.

Gorgeous property, an oasis! Lemon groves, gardens and a beautiful hotel make this a perfect get away from the crowds.
The hotel is far from town so you are reliant on the hotel shuttle to get around

The property couldn’t possibly be there down the tiny road but yes it is which is great, from the outset nobody is going to be aware of this secluded gem.
The owner Fabio, his daughter and the team are totally hands on and makes the stay a very special experience it’s almost one to one attention which for me is very special.
The property is clean well presented and an absolute pleasure to stay at and what about the views over Sorrento, the bay of Naples and the Versuvius?
So aside from a lovely hotel it’s fabulous attention, politeness, honesty and commitment from the owners and staff which drive my 10 out of 10 scores.
Nothing at all

Fabio and his family were so welcoming!
The villa is situated in the most amazing hills in Sorrento
We stayed for 3 nights in March, and they turned out to be the best part of our entire trip!
Our rooms were so spotless, roomy and light. With am enormous balcony looking out onto the bay with a clear view of Vesuvius
Fabio took us to and from the town centre, and kept us entertained with his stories that we will always remember.
On my birthday they brought me a special treat at breakfast which made my day!
They also sorted out all our dinner reservations and recommended the most lovely places to eat
Barbara recommended the best gelato in Sorrento and she was so right!
Fabio, Barbara and everyone else at the villa were amazing
Thank you everyone so much, we will be back!
Everything was perfect!

Wow, just wow. 5* service at every moment. Staff and food faultless.
Views limitless.
A unique opportunity to escape the hustle of Sorrento high in the hills with no more than 12 guests present. The highlight of our trip and the reason we went home relaxed.

We had a truly amazing stay at a beautiful hillside villa enjoying the hospitality of a beautiful family and their wonderful staff. Our room was stunning as was the sea view from our balcony. Everywhere you looked you were blown away by the sheer beauty of the place from the inside interiors, to the amazing pool area and the surrounding gardens. Thank you to Barbara for the very warm welcome and for sharing your wonderful family home with us.
There was absolutely nothing not to like.

Hotel itself was beautiful, serene, clean, and just lovely. The staff and owner, were all so warm and gracious. The drivers were so wonderful shuttling us in and out of town to the hotel. The generous breakfast was prepared and served to us each morning, delicious and fresh. Wish we had more time here and that we could have taken the cooking class. The grounds were beautiful, so many flowers, fruit and vegetables growing. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool late at night after returning from a busy day. A truly special place.
Only disliked having to leave so soon.

We stayed at the Palazzo del Barone for our honeymoon for 2 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Prior to our stay here we were in Amalfi, and so this was a very nice change from the busy tourist location we had stayed in. The resort is located in Priora, which is a 30-35 minute walk from the town of Sorrento (there is a shortcut path through the lemon groves - we absolutely loved taking this path). There is a shuttle service that runs every hour so we would usually take the shuttle from Sorrento back to the resort so that we didn't have to walk up hill! The shuttle driver was always on time and very flexible. We loved how we had our own privacy at the resort, yet the staff was always available when needed. Lucy was great!! She really made our stay!
Palazzo del Barone is a quaint resort with only six rooms but that is why we loved it so much. Each room is uniquely decorated. Ours had not 1 but 2 balconies, both of which had an incredible view. We loved sitting out at night overlooking the pool and sea. The room was quite big, had a mini fridge, included all of the essentials (shampoo, conditioner, etc), and the bed was very comfy - we had our best sleeps here! Breakfast was AMAZING - very fresh with tons of options to choose from. We loved the omelettes and the nutella pancakes. The chef is excellent! We didn't have time to do a cooking class but would love to book one in the future as we heard amazing things.
Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable! We look forward to coming back in the future!
Nothing! We loved every minute of our stay!

EVERYTHING!!! The room, the food, all of the staff. The list goes on. They were so helpful, courteous, and more than accommodating especially given our rough flight experience to Sorrento. It was truly a pleasure staying here and I highly recommend it if you are wanting to be near Sorrento but not in the middle of it all. We loved the fresh food, the grounds, the garden, all of it. I can't say thank you enough to Barbara and Lucy the communication and assistance with their shuttle service was outstanding
We took the cooking class at their Chez Barone school. It was fun, delicious, and true learning experience regarding Italian dishes.

A truly magical stay nestled in the spectacular Sorrento countryside! We were welcomed to the villa with the most gracious hospitality and experienced five star amenities. Breakfast on the veranda with breathtaking views of the pool, gardens and coast was a highlight. Cappuccino, fresh fruits, baked treats & omelets we’re the perfect start to each day! The cooking class was amazing and we appreciated Barbara’s help and availability in helping to schedule offsite reservations and transportation needs. A special thanks the amazing team of Palazzo del Barone and for making us feel like family! We will cherish this memorable getaway and look forward to our next visit!
Saying goodbye!

We had such a pleasant stay, and we just can't wait to come back!
It starts with the lovely hosts. Barbara was so kind and nice, and entire staff felt like a true family home.
The view from our room was so beautiful (and the interior design was beautiful as well).
Breakfast was rich and served with a personal touch, care and high quality.
The public areas, including the pool, the garden, dining place were so cool and peaceful.
Their cooking school should be amazing (we didn't have time to try it out, but will absolutely do it next time..)
Transportation to Sorrento / Positano area was convenient with the parking space and the courtesy car (shuttle) service.
We fell in love with this place.
Highly recommended!
Nothing. It was really perfect!

Relais Palazzo del Barone exceeded our high expectations in every way. When we arrived we were greeted and offered a beverage and given a small tour. The design and craftsmanship left me impressed by what they have accomplished. We felt welcomed and cared for. They went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was what we wanted. The food was some of the best we've ever tasted. There is a cooking school on premise and we took a cooking class (for additional $) one evening. We'll go back when we can.

The service is outstanding and the staff treats you like family. The hotel, grounds and view are stunning. The place is magic!
We enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio and even took a very fun cooking class there one night.

We had a lovely room, which was modern and had nice color accents. The bed was really comfortable. The view from our room was magnificent. Our host was friendly and supportive. The breakfast was prepared according to our needs. It was fantastic. My partner and I had been positively surprised that the TV had Netflix installed so that we could watch a movie after our restaurant visit. The overall experience was very good and we would be happy to come back at some point!
It was a little bit difficult to find the hotel but our host guided us well. It is good to know in advance that the road to the hotel is very small. Although the hotel provides enough space for parking, it is better to park the car up the hill.

The villa is stunning with breath taking views. From the start to the end, Barbara hosted us very well, giving us suggestions throughout the trip - she made our trip 100 times easier.
Every morning we were served freshly cooked breakfast, the service was perfect! The villa is owned and ran by a family who are very friendly and the stay felt very personalised, as if staying at a friend’s house!
Would recommend and will be back if visiting Sorrento again.
We visited during the off-peak season (March), so transport was limited, getting to and from the villa was expensive.

everything were 10 +. They treated us like royalty and we already made reservations to go back for the Christmas holiday. Incredibly kind, caring owners made our stay much more enjoyable and fun. I would like you leave you with this; “ if you are planning to come to Sorrento and didn’t stay at Relais Palazzo Barone than you will never know what you had missed.” Thank you Fabio

Alessandro and the staff made our stay memorable, helping us to organize day trips, giving great recommendations and providing a shuttle service to Sorrento.
The property is immaculately kept, has a fantastic view over the bay of Sorrento and with its gardens and pool is a great choice for being close to the town without being immersed in the hustle and bustle.
We are looking forward to coming back and trying a cooking class next time. Thank you

Beautiful view from this amazing family run B&B where you can also enjoy lovely dinners in the evenings!
Great communication and was super nice the free pick up service and shuttle to town so you don’t need a car!
We also received a free room upgrade so we had a bigger balcony to enjoy the beautiful sunset!
We would definitely come back!

We spent 4 nights at Palazzo Del Barone and immediately at our arrival, the busy life of Sorrento city was forgotten. The Palazzo has been renovated with a lot of love, the interior is wonderfully understated but very stylish, authentic and of the highest quality. The entire facility is extremely well taken care of, the garden is beautifully landscaped and the fresh food from it is cooked right in the kitchen. The view from the terrace with sunbeds / pool as well as from our room was stunning! The breakfast is extraordinary and we took part in the hotel owned cooking school "Chez barone", which was a wonderful experience. Cooking with Chef Teresa was an authentic experience which we will never forget. The hospitality of Barbara, Svetlana, Alessandro and the rest of the team was outstanding. We travelled a lot and saw already many good places - but Palazzo del Barone is from another world! Thank you so much - we definitely come back!

This is a gem of a property with stunning views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. The staff were all superb and the food was lovely, much of it made with produce from the kitchen garden. This is a great place to stay and chill out off the beaten track with the option to use the free shuttle to Sorrento when you want to get out and about. I’d you’re driving yourself to the Hotel Make sure you follow the instructions that Barbara sends you!

This place was exceptional, and we live in Italy! The staff were professional but relaxed and friendly, the location is phenomenal, the villa is stunning, the food was amazing. It was so brilliant that we abandoned most of our plans just to stay at the property and have dinner and sip a limoncello by the pool instead! We will be back. Often.

We both enjoyed our time staying at Palazzo del Barone with the family & the the staff went above & beyond. Dinner & breakfast was all home cooked with beautiful fruit pastries & croissants.
We didn’t want to leave & we would highly recommend it.
