Exceptional

We had an unforgettable experience at Golden Sands Camp ! We did an half-day jeep tour in the desert, watched the sunset, drink a Bedouin tea with our guide just after sunset and then arrived to the camp. There, we enjoyed a typical Bedouin dish cooked in the sand and had a good time around the campfire. We also woke up early to see the sun rise. In addition, Eteg and our guide Awad were very friendly and welcoming. We hope we will be able to come back there one day !

breathtaking landscape together with a special night under the Milkyway. Atig is a really nice guide that will show you amazing places to enjoy a desert experience. Comfortable rooms and delicious traditional food. Worth it!

Fun trip with a friend

My friend came to visit me from Ethiopia so we decided to spend a night in Wadi Rum. the keep tour was excellent and we had a great time. It really is something else to go to Wadi Rum with a buddy! of course, it was a great experience at the camp once again. The food, the hospitality, the amenities… everything was simply top notch.

Great father-son adventure

It was wonderful to come to Wadi Rum with my son, Max. We had a blast on the jeep tour and even went on a brief adventure on camelback. It all wouldn't have been possible without Eteg, who guided us through the wonderful valleys, canyons, and dunes of Wadi Rum with unmatched expertise. At night, we enjoyed an excellent dinner of Zarb, as well as an enjoyable time of dancing and Bedouin music. I wholeheartedly recommend this camp!

Sleep under the stars

It was a pleasure to stay at this camp. Unlike other camps in Wadi Rum, it is located in a remote area of the desert, meaning that it is truly possible to sleep under the stars. the highlight of my trip was definitely the dinner and the campfire. Both were excellently prepared by the camp’s wonderful staff!

– The camp is far in the desert and let’s you stay at the perfect location. Ateeg helped us with anything we needed and took us on a jeep tour and drove us to a beautiful place to watch the sunset. In the evening we had an amazing Bedouin dinner and some music with candle lights. In the morning there was breakfast. The food was once again amazing!

A splendid culinary and cultural experience

When I travel abroad, I always enjoy tasting new food and learning about new cultures. Spending the night at Golden Sands Camp in Wadi Rum allowed me to do just that. I tried a delicious Bedouin dish cooked underneath the ground in the middle of the desert for dinner, which was truly a five-star experience. After dinner, the music around the campfire was a wonderful experience to behold, creating a sense of community in the desert. I will definitely be returning soon and I recommend you visit as well. In my humble opinion, this camp is the best that Wadi Rum has to offer.

A wonderful stay in Wadi Rum, such a special place and the camp was the ideal way to experience the desert. All the Bedouin very welcoming and we enjoyed the food and desert jeep tour very much. Highlight was seeing the sunset over the desert. Unforgettable. Thanks to our guide Ateg and all the other Bedouin, and see you next time!

Phenomenal! Its highly recommended and its a level above glamming

This place is awsome! The food is incredible, beautiful scenery, the stuff is great, it’s clean also and comfortable.Truly a 5 star experience I recommend to stay more than one night.The sunset, 4x4 ride was great.We also rode camels which I enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would.They seem well-loved and taken care of ! The whole experience has been memorable , Thank you so much 🙂

I take trip to Wadi Rum with parents and friend and we enjoy our time very much. The camp was manificent with warm shower, clean toilet and great dinner area. Food was also tasty: I loved the rice and chicken, and mia vegetarian madre also find great options. Bedouin singing after dinner is also beautiful cultural experience.

An unforgettable adventure

Dinner at Golden Sands Camp was exceptional, as always. Since staying here last in 2018, I've wanted to come back to Eteg's camp with my wife ever since. The food, the jeep tour, the hospitality, and the incredible location once again knocked me off my feet! Overall, the experience was excellent. I whole-heartedly recommend a night sleeping under the stars at Eteg's camp to any visitor who wishes to have an unforgettable experience with an incredible host in Wadi Rum!

Exceptional

One of the best experiences in my life. We did the jeep tour in the desert until the sunset. Then we had an amazing traditional dinner with music. Great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Bedrooms were good enough for a desert and the toilets/showers were in perfect condition. The owner arranged for us a driver to come from Petra to the desert and another one from the desert to Amman, which was really appreciated.

Just a point to make: I booked the room via booking but the payment is done when you leave, including all the activities you made. Not sure if the price shown in booking is the same as the one shown in their website, so I would suggest to trust more the prices in their website. Anyway, the price was fair and really good value for money!

Very friendly staff. Helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and dinner even more. The trip in the desert was great, the chauffeur added to catch the sunset :) Accommodation was clean, enough to sleep, bathroom and toilet was renovated and clean! After dinner there was a program where they sang, danced a lot of tea, it was very fun! We highly recommend :) Thanks for everything Klaudia, Veronika, Zuzana, Natália and Patrícia. ☺️

Fabulous

Location is perfect, friendly staff, amazing food and experience. Campfire, music, traditional dinner and shisha. The sky is really clear at night and lots of local guides. Bathroom and room are very clean.

Some services were extra cost and at a slightly higher price than listed. Dinner is 15JD per person and transfer back to the visitor center another 10JD per person but well worth it.
