Fine. Hard to find.

This house should not have been available to rent. A leaking roof caused mold in the living room, as evidenced by a tarp held down on the roof by various objects. The house also had a strange, unpleasant, odor and the bathroom smelled strongly of cat urine. I understand that this house is from the 50s but more than just the kitchen needed to be updated.

Traveling from Texas and Iowa, our family met up in Knoxville for Memorial Day weekend to decorate some of our family's grave sites. The house was perfect.

Awesome property and great stay for our family whilst visiting family. Lots of space inside to roam; sunroom & toys for kiddos were thoroughly enjoyed! Check i/o was a breeze, very responsive hosts, safe neighborhood, large backyard nice to stretch legs &
ramble with kids before dinner. We would stay again and definitely recommend!

I’m town for our daughter’s graduation and was a great central location for all our events that weekend. Only compliant is the spare bed was super squeaky and several aspects of the home were needing repair. Could also use a deep cleaning. All main areas were fine.

We came here for a quick girls getaway weekend and had the best time. House is about 15-20 minutes to downtown Knoxville via car and is in a great central location to all desired amenities (Whole Foods, Breweries, shopping coffee shops). We were able to easily get an Uber when needed as well. The house is on a quiet street that felt safe and the host was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Knoxville for a weekend visit with our daughter who is a freshman at UT Knox. We truly enjoyed the house and the location was perfect. The house was well stocked with many basic needs. I was most excited with the amount of bath towels. I have learned to carry my own because there is never enough. Fortunately, this house was well stocked and I never had to use mine or run the washer! Would definitely consider staying again.

Quiet and peaceful for a short visit but very convenient to everything. Really nice area. Three of us enjoyed having a house to relax in - much nicer than a hotel stay.

My daughter and I stayed here for University of Tennessee's Big Orange Preview. Much better than staying in a hotel! The house was a short drive from campus in a nice neighborhood, and we found restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores along the main road. Everything was clean, and the hosts checked in with us during our stay. My daughter especially loved the character of a mid-century modern home!

We used this for a girls weekend. All 3 bedrooms were used and the consensus on the beds were they were so comfortable! It was very clean and had a beautiful kitchen! There are several conversation areas. We didn't go outside because of rain, but the patio looked nice. Great location to go downtown and for all sort of good options. Check out the McKay's used bookstore that's nearby!

There was excellent flexibility in arrival time, and the key pad entry was very convenient for additional guests arriving at different times. The host was very responsive, and anticipated any requests. The master bathroom is beautiful!

The property was very clean. We chose not to stay because we arrived after dark, there were no lights left on, inside OR out, the kitchen window was slightly open, and the locks on the door to the garage and to the back yard did not appear secure. They were not deadbolts. It’s an older neighborhood and has no streetlights near the property, extremely dark. Plan to arrive early or request that lights be left on.
After speaking with the owner, he told us he saved power by leaving all lights off and the window only opened 6 inches. (I had no way of knowing that upon arrival.) I was called “a nervous person” by the owner.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving in Knoxville. The house had plenty of room for us and I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. It was a very nice stay.

This house was perfect for our family football weekend and the Vols brought home a win! This property is comfortable and great for our family gathering. Denton was a fabulous host and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

This home is just beautiful with a gorgeous yard and back patio to sit and drink your coffee or a glass of wine in the evening! The attention to detail is wonderful. Very clean, well appointed kitchen, nicely done bathrooms, and beautiful decor that you will fall in love with! We very much loved having 3 B 2baths to have more private space. The neighborhood is inviting to go for a walk or run and very close to great shopping or UT campus. Wonderful place to stay- we will be back!

This VRBO is in the perfect location to be able to access all of Knoxville! It was in an ideal, quiet neighborhood - so it felt safe for us with the baby. The house had a super cute mid-century vibe while having all updated fixtures to make our stay easy!

Great for HS Reunion get togethers
I rented so that my old classmates and I could have a casual place to gather in between formal events. Enough room for all of us! Love this house. Want one in ATL that I can buy. This is a gem.

Great decor, lots of space, clean, comfortable beds, soft sheets, lots of pillows, throw blankets for tv watching, met our needs in the kitchen. Great location for us. I would recommend staying here.

My family was staying the weekend in Knoxville for my grandmother's memorial service. My dad was so excited when he saw that this home was in the same neighborhood (West Hills is quiet, quaint, and convenient to everything) that my grandparents raised him in. We loved the perfect blend of original features and modern updates that made this the ultimate mid century modern home. It was a real treat to stay here!

Stepping back in time
This place is like a time machine. A lot of attention to detail was put into the furniture and decor and was so fun to visit. We had everything we needed for light meals and the place is close to tons of restaurants. The big back yard and the 3 season porch were good bonuses.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Safe, beautiful neighborhood near plenty of shopping options. The house had some nice, modern updates, but was a little aged in certain areas (bedroom, back enclosed deck, etc). Yard with fruit trees was large and beautiful. Need to repair a few things like front storm window door, master bath door).
