Wonderful short break

Everything was great. We instantly felt relaxed and welcome. The apartment was well equipped, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The bed was new and gave us good nights sleep! We liked having an outside area to sit in the sunshine. The grocery items provided on our arrival were an added bonus. The location was good for National Trust properties in the area and the coast. We found a number of local pubs providing excellent food, particularly the Ten Tors Inn and the Barn Owl.

Delia and Malcolm invited us on arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed. our stay. We’ll go back again.

The Property was clean, tidy and inviting And the little extras like tea, coffee etc.

Absolutely amazing apartment

Breakfast items, great location to visit all attractions very peaceful too. Very clean apartment. Bed was so comfortable. Chairs outside to sit in the summer evenings. They have thought of everything to make you feel welcomed . Would definitely stay again

Quiet self-contained apartment

Lovely clean, self-contained apartment suitable for 1-2 people. Small but has all home comforts . Very comfortable bed. The apartment is attached to the owners house, but it's very private and quiet. The breakfast package was a nice touch and greatly appreciated . Convenience stores 10 minutes walk away. Would recommend for a chilled stay...I was visiting family nearby. The owners, Delia & and Malcolm, were very welcoming but not intrusive. Would stay there again.

Nothing....my only recommendation would be to have a small portable heater available if needed. I stayed in July but the evenings were quite cold.

Good size bedroom and a very comfortable bed. Sitting room and kitchenette cosy and adequately equipped. Whole package, in line with the costs. The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

Woukd be very happy to stay again but not accepting our small dog will limit our ability to do so..

Clean, comfortable and had everything i needed. The eggs, bread butter ,milk and tea and coffee was greatly received. I make a mean scrambled egg! Shower was hot , bed was comfy and had a plug socket for my phone next to bed I slept well which is not always the case when away. Malcolm was a gent. Even picked me up from the station and dropped.me at my clientthe next day . EXCELLENT VALUE FOR A TRAVELLER

I simply cannot fault my stay. I very infrequently give 10 out of 10. For my needs there was no negative .

I recently stayed at this apartment and will certainly stay there again. I found the basic supplies of eggs, bread, milk, butter and exceptionally nice touch. The hosts are very friendly and the apartment well-furnished and wants for nothing. Also great to have free parking on site.

Cozy stay at kind peoples' house

The hosts are very helpfull and also provided written information about the region. It is a very quite place to sleep. From the sleeping room, you have a nice view to the moore.

The living room is quite narrow for eating at the table and you can sometimes hear the very friendly hosts in the room next door. The water pressure in the shower is low, which is probably due to the therein installed water heater.

Perfect in every way

The location was great, and parking excellent. The accommodation was so well equipped; everything had been thought of. It was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Loved the private spot to sit out in the sun. Delia and Malcolm were so welcoming on arrival, but left us to it after that - which was perfect. We so appreciated the welcome pack and the flexibility on check in. We'll definitely return. Thank you so much to our hosts.

Comfy, homely quality apartment with all you could need.

Very clean and everything you needed was provided. Lovely welcome pack of milk, eggs, butter & bread. Great to have outside seating area.

A peaceful respite with a warm welcome.

A superb apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge, excellent shower and supremely comfortable bed. Situated in a pleasant area, close to most amenities with easy access to the surrounding beautiful wetland walks. Amazing hosts, thank you Delia and Malcolm for the welcome pack of essential food items, the kind offer of a lift to the bus/train station and the delicious freshly baked cake!

No real complaints; would return. A nice wall mirror in the lounge would be advantageous. Priced at the top of the bracket. Kitchen really is for one person.

A great break!

Very comfortable. Easy to drive to, and very convenient for us to visit a relative who lives nearby. A good kitchen, and it was nice to have the welcome pack of milk, eggs and bread. A good location for the Teign estuary and also for Dartmoor. Not only can you see Haytor Rocks from the window, but you can drive up there in 20 minutes, for lovely walking. Thank you!!
