Good location in nice town. Comfortable beds. Good washing/ drying facilities.
No curtains in bedrooms so couldn’t block out light in mornings.
Very strong potpourri in bedrooms and air fresheners were too much.
Wet room floor dirty with debris left in corner, we therefore didn’t use it.

Very nice house. Well equipped with everything you need. The location was excellent and the village was nice.
Parking was a little tight due to building work next door.

The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The town has an amazing bakers/cafe which we visited most days.

Lovely house in a wonderful little village in the Lake District.
Well equipped with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable.
The beds were a bit short.

The house is very welcoming,it felt like we just stayed in our own home. We were all comfortable. The place is good for a family or group of friends traveling together. They have a quiet neighborhood. Just bring your own shampoos ,shower gels, tea, coffee.
The place is excellent, we love the ambiance. They also have a spacious back garden if you fancy to stay outside. Whatever you see in the promotional photos is what you expect to see when you arrive, which is really good.
The owners are very kind. We are blessed, because when we are trying to find the accommodation, the person whom we asked about the place is the owner itself,so he directed us instantly. What a very nice 1st experience upon arriving in the place.
It's not that I really did not like, but maybe if they can manage to fix the toilet downstairs and put something on the shower to separate in the toilet bowl so that the whole floor won't get wet, that would be fab. But then again, this did not affect much our stay experience. I just shared this for improvement. However, if it won't be sorted, I will still give an Excellent review.

Superb value for money. Everything we needed Very cosy. 3 local pubs, 2 of which did excellent food. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Great base from which to explore. Wasdale highly recommended. Absolutely stunning scenery.Have attached 2 photos. Get advice from a local on how to get there though. It took forever using the sat nav. I never go back to the same place twice as I love to see different places but I would make an exception here as there are so many places to go to nearby.

In the lovely village with walls from the door , fantastic views from the garden and nice seating area to enjoy the nice weather. Great bakery and butchers in village and nice cafe . Only short drive to the beach and into the lakes . The house was all we needed, clean and well equipped. Would stay again .
The beds were a little lumpy .

We stayed with family for 2 nights . The house is well equipped . It has extra bedding ,laundry facility , pots and pans , coffee and sugar .Decent sized bedrooms with good storage facility.
Nothing . The driveway was a bit steep to park the car but there was plenty of space off road

The house was spacious and so lovely and warm. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and have our own space.

Gorse Bank is in an excellent location in, so I'm told, the "second smallest town in Britain"! The house was well equipped, clean and large, perfect for my family of four but sleeps up to seven. Lovely garden and patio area too. Excellent value-for-money and highly recommended. It was great to get away from the tourist traps on Windermere and explore south Cumbria. Ulverston is a short drive away and I thoroughly recommend the Roxy Cinema, where you can take in a film and visit the awesome Laurel & Hardy Museum. Shout out to the Linda's in the Manor!
Can't really recall anything that bothered us during the week there. You must visit!

Beautiful house with plenty of room. Laundry facilities very useful as we were fell walking. Friendly village and good road connections.
We liked everything.
