Super charmantes Resort im typischen Keys Stil!

Sehr charmantes Hotel mit absolutem Florida-Flair. Coole Anlage in sehr schönem Ambiente, tolle Farben und perfektem Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang. Es war leider sehr windig, daher konnten wir den Abend nicht so draußen genießen, wie wir wollten, aber dafür konnte das Hotel nichts. Parkplatz gibt es draußen genug, Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und auch sonst hat alles super geklappt. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, sah aber ok aus. Direkt zum Hotel gehört ein Restaurant, welches wir genutzt haben und was auch lecker war (preislich war es Florida üblich).. drum herum gibt es nicht viel, was man besuchen könnte, für uns war es eher die Durchreise.

Die Abstimmung mit dem Restaurant könnte besser sein. Wir wollte dort zu Abend essen und man sagte uns, es sei keine Reservierung nötig. Als wir dann hin sind, war alles voll und wir mussten über eine Stunde warten.. es war dann ein spätes Abendessen! :)

This trip was the most relaxing we’ve ever been on and we cannot wait to stay again.

It was quiet and relaxing. We loved that there was a separate adult building and pool. The employees were so friendly and helpful and the Rhum House was easily our favorite meal during our vacation. From the servers to the food, it was impeccable. The bed was comfortable as were all the linens. We were in Humidor House and the decor was perfection. Every detail was thought of. Truly a wonderful place to visit.

The tractor that was trying to rake the sargassum just stirred it up and made it smell horrible. Also, other resorts we have stayed at in the Keys had grounds crew raking the sargassum and disposing of it so it was more enticing to enter the water. We loved our stay and that would be the only thing I would change.

We had a great stay, would definitely stay again.

Nice pool area, backing onto a small beach. The staff are fantastic. The bar tender was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, a really nice man.

Amazing, we will definitely be back!!!

I loved that we were able to enjoy the adult pool and families had a pool as well. We loved that kayak's and paddle boards were included. We also rented bikes and road the bike path across the road. Our balcony overlooked the ocean, it was a very special stay. Ms. Skipper was great, she gave us a lot of useful information and was super friendly.

The only thing we would have liked that we didn't have would have been a microwave or hotpot to make hot water because we like to have hot tea any time of the day. This was really not a big problem because the restaurant was right there and could always get us hot water.

Overpriced

Nice rooms. Restaurant had a delicious meal.

No coffee pot in the room. Couldn't figure out where they served breakfast. Reusable water bottles were nothing but a metal bottle the water came in. Needed information about the eating facilities and menus in the room.

Schönes, aber preisintensives Resort für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf den Keys

Ein sehr hübsches Resort, direkt am Strand gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und der Blick zum Meer ist super. Das Rezeptionspersonal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant sitzt man am Abend sehr gut und das Essen ist lecker.

Die Bettwäsche riecht extrem nach Waschmittel (Vorsicht für Allergiker!) Der Strand ist leider sehr ungepflegt, baden im Meer ist nicht möglich. Der Service im Restaurant lässt zu wünschen übrig. Es werden nicht mal die Tische gereinigt, bevor neue Gäste plaziert werden. Darum mussten wir extra bitten. Ansonsten sitzt das Personal lieber an der Bar, als sich bei der Abrechnung um die Gäste zu kümmern. Hotelrechnung und Restaurantrechnung sind seit Tagen beglichen, trotzdem werden immer noch mehrere 100 USD auf der Kreditkarte vorgemerkt.

Second year visiting and won’t be the last!

Perfect location midway down the keys, close to many attractions and amazing views. Love the adults only area. The staff is super friendly.

Needs a microwave in room for leftovers late at night and would love a coffee maker in the room. Was looking forward to sitting out and having a frozen drink at night but the bar doesn’t serve them.

Ein garantierter schöner Aufenthalt in Marathon Key

Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt am Meer - schöner Anblick. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Restaurant hat auch sehr feine Speisen.

Wenn in der Hotelanlage viel los ist, kann man den Lärmpegel im Zimmer deutlich hören (Holzbauten), kann störend sein, wenn man in Ruhe schlafen möchte.

We had a very enjoyable relaxing holiday. No need to leave the property to enjoy the sun.

Room was very large with great views. The main pool was lovely.

L hotel le plus agréable de notre séjour !

Bel endroit, hôtel très bien équipé, grande et belle chambre avec grand balcon vue mer : magnifique. Tout le personnel est très aimable et souriant, mention spéciale pour la charmante Megan. Restauration : la meilleure de notre séjour tant pour le petit déjeuner, que pour les cocktails : voilà de super barmen ! Et la cuisine également: 3 dîners de poisson bons.

Great escape

The boutique size hotel was staffed by the friendliest and most helpful people, especially Morgan, the concierge. The property was large enough that you never felt like you were crowded by others. The hotel is located so that you can easily enjoy the Keys to the east and west.

The beach was partly washed out by a storm, and they were still working on replenishing it. They plan on having it completed soon.

The staff were pleasant and always helpful, the views, the personal attention, the pools, hot tubs and beach, the fact that there was an adults only section. The restsurant, Tiki bar restaurant and the roof top pub were great, we didn’t want to leave the property

Nice place to stay if you don’t mind not having a beach

The view of the ocean was awesome, the beach not so much. Not sure why they had to stir up the seagrass stuff so much-it made it smell terrible. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wish they would have had coffee in the rooms. The restaurant was nice but very expensive

Beautiful newer resort.

Comfortable rooms. Jordan was awesome very personable! The young waitress and front desk staff very friendly! Loved the cats that wonder around the resort. The restaurant manager was another story we felt she was very sarcastic and rude with her comments.

The fact that housekeeping entered our room without being requested and left out room door ajar the whole day while we were out. Luckily no one entered our room and nothing went missing. Once again the restaurant manager being rude.

chose Grassy Flats due to pet friendly policy, after non-refundable payment,informed NO CATS ALLOWED

High winds attracted kiteboarders, the view from our room was excellent, clean with good linens, 2 very nice pools (family and adult only) many amenities to enjoy

soft beds, no water glasses, lack of in-room info about the property and surrounding area, high shower head, low water pressure resulted in a challenge for all, especially shorter people. Hot tub was hot, but the jets did not work. **The unavoidable stench and noise from the beach re-nourishment during our stay. (Could not leave sliding glass door open due to smell)

My husband and felt like it was an all inclusive resort just for us. This property was absolutely beautiful.

Would look for other places in future.

Location and excellent restaurant with great staff in the restaurant.

Parking lot big potholes needing filled. Wifi not very good. A "glitch" supposedly caused our room keys to stop working early (right after we got a text reminding us of checkout) and we couldn't get in to our room. VERY inconvenient and staff couldn't get them working again either so they had to go let us in. These things happen understandably but for what we were charged the inconveniences of going all the way to front from 3 rd floor, wasting time and after receiving the text and then keys quit it felt like we were being rushed out, and so then we had to take everything out of room at one time or go get someone to let us in again. The resort did NOT offer a compensation or discount for this big frustration. The beach chair cushions were worn and not clean.

The condo was large. The bartender by the pool was great!

The condo was very dirty. The trash in the kitchen hadn’t been taken out. The dishes and silverware were dirty. There wasn’t enough cups or plates. The kitchen table had food stains. The stove and oven were filthy. I don’t think it had ever been cleaned. The back of the bedroom door was covered in dust. The floor was dirty. The bed was rock hard. The furniture was too sparse and there was no place to put your suitcase except on the floor. The living room had an old crate for the coffee table.

Great for a family with adult children. Beautiful location and keys-central. Great staff.

Our room was large and faced the beach/pool area, so we enjoyed opening the doors and getting fresh air and a great view. We loved the adult pool and hot tub options (we are not fond of kids anymore!). The pools were nice and warm. The staff was AMAZING. Super friendly, talkative, and helpful. The location is nice. Do-able drive to Key West, and also Key Largo, and to groceries/restaurants. We explored the drink options and they were very good. Really comfy and clean beds. We slept with the doors wide open, so just literally sat up in bed and watched the sunrise. We loved watching the paragliders, and wished the weather had made it possible for us to try it. Next time!

The road noise gets on your nerves after awhile, but we slept with the doors wide open, so somewhat expected. They are working on the beach/water access and I encourage them to keep doing that. Nature is against the effort, however so it's an uphill battle. I mean, the Keys is not where you want to go if you want pristine beaches, so just be aware of what you are getting into. We thought it would be nice to have more affordable breakfast options. Simple grab and go pastries/yogurt/fruit would go a long way. We had a usable kitchen, but I was annoyed to have to buy EVERYTHING. They should stock it with some basics like S&P, sugar, plastic wrap, sugar. Just leave stuff from previous tenants and eventually you will have a usable kitchen. Also, add a cookie sheet/pizza pan so we could have made pizza.

Beatiful, relaxing, and restorative.

We loved our time at Grassy Flats resort including the stunning ocean view from our private balcony, the adults only pool surrounded by fabulous Caribbean plants and trees, friendly and helpful staff, and a great on-site restaurant. The room was well apportioned, quiet, and comfortable.

We were there in the August off-season and the beach had been recently re-dredged. The beach is also small but typical for the Keys.

We felt like we had the place all to ourselves on the newer Adult only side of the property.

Loved the privacy. We practically had the whole place to ourselves. The pool was clean and nicely done with the tropical feel. Absolutely adores Cory, our breakfast hostess. Coffee was free upstairs on the terrace and we bought several of our breakfast meals there. Just right.

The only negative was the sargassum seaweed that was present at all the beaches in the Keys. Nasty doesn’t even begin.
