Stunning views across Gloucestershire to Severn.
A lodge comprising bedroom & shower/ WC room and Kitchen & Living room next door to owner's house and stunning views. Basics like milk, juice and shortbread left in kitchen and range of soaps & conditioners in bathroom.
Selsley avery interesting village - once some grand houses and farms mistly converted into family homes.
Bell pub recommended to us for excellent food and only 4 minutes walk and we pass that recommendation on.
The church has stained glass by William Morris, and then there is Selsley Common where cattle graze just like on Minchinhampton. And don't forget the coffee shops in Nailsworth.

Ideal weekend Covid getaway
A comfortable, cozy lodge, ideally located for walking a circular section of the Cotswolds Way, culminating in spectacular views from Selsley Common and only 3 miles from another circular walk in Laurie Lee's Slad valley. A short drive to the Autumn colours of Westonbirt Arboretum.

Peaceful stay in a beautiful location
We were able to meet my parents and both our children for the first time for six months so this was a very special occasion. It's a very well equipped lodge and it was a pleasure staying there for our short break. Lovely views and walks close by so ideal in every way

Perfect
So happy with this choice as planning to walk more of the Cotswold Way. The property was perfectly positioned actually on the trail but even better a bus stop for both Painswick and Cheltenham is at the top of the lane. Thank you again Kate for a most pleasant stay.

We loved the lodge
We stayed in the lodge for twelve nights in August 2019 and we loved every minute of it. There is so much to see in the neighborhood. Each time we came back to the lodge it really felt like coming home. The lodge is impeccably clean, comfortable and very cosy. All the details are well thought out and we enjoyed everything (for example the beautiful Sophie Conran tableware). There is a nice garden with chairs for lazing around. So Middle Lodge has everything for a lovely holiday and we really hope to come back soon!

Perfect for a getaway
The lodge is such a beautiful little escape out to the country, cannot recommend more. The place itself is clean, tidy, and welcoming.
What makes this place special is the access to the surrounding area, the local pub (just a 5 min walk away) is divine, the public foot paths and views are world class, and the access to a larger town if you need supplies is easily available.
Kate is a fantastic host, made us feel very welcome and at home. Exactly what we needed in our escape to the country.

Terrific little lodge
What a lovely lodge in the middle of the beautiful Cotswolds. Everything was sparkling clean. Absolutely beautiful and tasteful interior, with a lot of well thought through details. Kate was the perfect host, making the check in/out process very quick and easy and giving us lots of advice on how to enjoy the local area.

Lovely quiet brand new cabin
We were thrilled to find this place exactly as shown. Our hostess was away but the communication was excellent so it wasn’t a problem. There was an excellent coffee for the French press along with some chocolates and a bit of wine greeting us. Breakfast cereal, milk and juice were there for breakfast. The views from our private yard were fantastic and there was a local pub only a few minutes away. Highly recommend it.
