Everything is exactly as advertised. We had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, walking up the beach and just generally enjoying the amazing views! Friendly host with quick replies. We were sad to leave.

It is a beautiful location, right on the beach. Unfortunately the flies were awful at times, biting everyone, including the dogs. Other than that annoyance, we had a fantastic time.

Beach vacation
The host was very responsive to questions and provided a great summary of what was all available at the cabin and surrounding area as well.
Had a great time, kids loved the beach. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Relaxing
The first time we have stayed at a cabin, and the bar is now set very high! Our hottest was very helpful with any questions we had, and quick to respond. We didn't have a lot of need as we were just needing to get away and have some quiet time together as this was our first get away since getting married over 2 years ago. The sun room was wonderful and we spent lots of time there reading. We saw some beautiful sunsets across the water and just really were able to relax and let all the stress wash away with the sound of the water coming in to shore. We had a great time and recommend this lovely place to anyone who enjoys being right on the water.

Beautiful relaxing retreat.
My wife and I stayed a week in July 2021, which was our fifth stay at this beautiful beach house, and had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
Stefanie, the owner is very responsive to her guests needs and has created a modern relaxing environment on the lake.

Perfect last minute getaway
We booked Stefanie’s place just a couple of days in advance and were very fortunate as the weather was over 30 degrees each day. It was the perfect weekend gateway from the city! Lake Manitoba is one of our favourites as it is shallow off the shore & clear. Twin beaches is a great location on the lake as the sand adds a special touch.
Inside the cabin was great - very clean and modern but we spent most of our time outside on the beach, in the water or inside the sun room. We had no issues preparing any of the food we brought as the kitchen was well equipped with all the basics appliances and tools needed, and then some.
Some of the information about the cabin within VRBO was outdated, but the day prior to our arrival Stefanie provided a very detailed list of things we needed to know. The instructions for check in were not updated and we were confused how to get in but this was resolved very quickly with a text to Stefanie and a prompt response.
All in all we enjoyed our short stay and hope to be back in the future!

Great stay!
Enjoyed the comforts here! Stefanie was near her phone and responded right away to calls, which was fabulous. Really clean, beach front: loved the paddle board and kayaks and fire pit. A great way to spend Sept. long weekend! Thanks Stefanie! Will book again!

Great for families
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. We loved that the beach was just a few steps outside of the sunroom. The sunsets were amazing, and the hammock was enjoyed by all. The water was perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. Definitely recommend water shoes though, as the beach and the lake bottom are rocky. The beach house was beautifully decorated, too. The only hiccup we had was that the house key was not in the location that was specified in the check-in info emailed to us, so we had to wait almost 45 min outside before we were provided with the correct info to access the key. Also the WiFi password was a bit difficult to find, and the ladder on one of the bunk beds was broken, making the top bunk inaccessible - however this wasn't an issue for us as the bottom bunk was used instead. Overall, this was a wonderful rental property and we plan on returning to it again in the near future.

Suggestions
Would be beneficial to have more information on what to bring ahead of time not just the day of check in such as bringing bottled water, bringing your own firewood or where it could be purchased etc.

The property was certainly as advertised! Spacious welcoming interior, sunny and roomy deck, with a beautiful beachfront. Stefanie was a responsive host, with the surprise bonus of her giving us access to some some watercraft. Sunsets were spectacular, and we loved our late night fires. We would recommend water shoes. While the rocks were not terrible, we did find it much easier on our feet to wear them. During the week it was so quiet it was like we had our own private lake. While the cabins in the area are close together, we didn't hear anyone while we were relaxing. We will definitely be wanting a return visit!

Magnificent Manitoba Getaway
I grew up near Winnipeg and never knew a little piece of heaven was less than an hour away. Now living in Alberta, we long for hot sand and warm water....and this place both and so much more. The sunroom allowed you get get out of the sun for a bit with line of sight to kids playing in the water and on the beach. Our son loved being able to go way out into the water on a sandbar (although it is a bit rocky between it and the beach so bring water shoes). We did not spend much time indoors but when we were, we found everything we needed and more. It was a wonderful few days, wish it could have been more. Thanks.

Vacation Get away
The cottage was fantastic- the rooms, the set up and the location of the cottage was excellent.
I would have liked to know about the water quality as soon as possible. I was already on my way out to the cottage when we spoke. It made it difficult for me now at the cottage and had to ask guests to bring out water. The water quality was not too bad. /My family and friends in Manitoba were very impressed- there may be more than booking from my group.
Cheers, Leigh Bornn

Best Family Vacay
My family stayed at Stefanie’s cottage for 5 days. The location couldn’t be better. Being Just an hour from the city enabled some family members to join us just for a few hours. The beach is right out the door which made it so easy with the little ones. Sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the waves was my favourite part. The hammock and the sun room were constantly being used. The cottage is spacious, nicely decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for. Stefanie was a dream to work with- she replied to any questions very quickly. Would definitely love to go back again.

third summer at this amazing getaway
As always, this was one of the best parts of our summer! It is close to Winnipeg, comfortable, safe, relaxing and the sunsets are so beautiful. Thanks again!

Great Family Stay
What a beautiful place to stay with our family. Everything we needed was provided. Towels, movies, games, playpen, booster seat for the little babies.
The internet connection for Netflix was a bit slow so I wouldn’t rely on that, they had kid and adult movies so it was good when the kids wanted to watch a movie in the evening.
Being right on the lake was amazing! We were definitely spoiled. There are some rocks in the water so bring water shoes but that didn’t wreck our fun at all. Sand was great. We would take daily walks along the beach and find beautiful rocks to skip or shells to collect. It was nice to have a quiet private beach. Thanks for the great stay.

Perfect getaway!
I stayed here for the long weekend with my family and we had an amazing time relaxing by the beach! The location is fantastic! Just far away enough from the city but still close if there would be an emergency and I can’t say enough about the beachfront location, it’s just as advertised. Amazing sunsets and views, so peaceful. The cottage is beautiful, well maintained and has everything we needed. I was surprised by the internet connection speed, it was a great amenity to have. The owner made herself available to answer all our questions. We are definitely considering coming back next summer but for a longer stay!

Many hits a few misses
Let me start by saying we loved the location and our vacation at this property and would stay here again. The location was perfect, the cabin was just the right size for our family and overall was a fantastic long weekend. A couple of things that need to be mentioned for why I'm only giving 3 stars:
1. No internet connection. Not a big deal but it was advertised and then not provided
2. BBQ did not work and the condition of it was unacceptable for cooking (this was remedied 1/3 of the way into our trip)
3. And this is the big one....the Water barely worked (dripped from the faucets and wouldn't build enough pressure to run a shower) for the first 1/3 of our trip.
In the end the issues were fixed and we made the best of it until they were. For what we paid, I would expect those issues to be not present or resolved immediately, not 33% of the way through our stay there.

Lovely spot, clean and comfortable.
We came out on a whim to revisit Twin Beaches, an old stomping ground. It was perfect timing with great weather. Mere words fail to convey the beauty of snow and sky.

Excellent location and a excellent accommodations and amenities.
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this place. The accommodations were very comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed to make the time very enjoyable. The host, Stefanie, was easy to contact and was able to provide answers to all our questions. We are planning on being guests again.

A real gem!
We were fortunate enough to take advantage of a last minute cancellation at this location, as it is typically booked for peak periods a couple years out. We loved it! Much more like a home than a cabin. Fantastic location right on the water and sunsets that you'd only expect to see on a tropical island.
We found it hard to find using the google map directions given on the VRBO.com site. The address it gave was lot 83, but each property actually has a different blue numbered sign at the end of the driveway. Would have been much more helpful to know this number than searching for lot #'s which were not visible on every property.
More directions on how to operate Netflix would have been useful, as we could not get it going the whole time we were there, and I suspect it was probably something we were doing wrong. We had a couple rainy days so would have been nice to use.
The hosts were wonderful to deal with, always getting back to us in a timely manner on any of our questions. There is definite pride of ownership in this location, lots of nice touches, high end linens etc. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and hope to go back again ourselves.

Fell in love with this chalet even before booking it!
Your chalet provided everything to make our stay perfect! We enjoyed the lake front beach; whether we were playing in the water, walking or simply listening to the soothing sound of the waves from the screened in veranda..... At night we would sit around the fire and take in the incredible view ; oh the sunsets. So much beauty inside and outside of this chalet! I found I had so many choices to relax and make memories with our childen and grandchildren! Thank you so much Stéfanie Allard for making it so special! We will be back! René & Nicole Bissonnette
