About this house rental
Located in Northern Provo, it is nestled between BYU and UVU, and is a short 20 minute drive to the Sundance resort. Very close to movie theaters, malls, grocery stores, and restaurants. We are within walking distance of free public transit that travels from North Orem to Downtown Provo, and connects with the Frontrunner train which runs to Salt Lake City.
This house has been completely beautifully remodeled and restored with midcentury modern inspired decor. The kitchen is completely new from the flooring to the cabinets to the lights! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need for a long term stay, or if you want to cook a meal. We have all the standard common use appliances, including a toaster and coffee maker, most of which are brand new! I also provide a few spices and tea or coffee to make your stay more comfortable. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and I provide detergent tablets for it.
The 3 bedrooms are located up a half flight of stairs (appx. 6 steps). The large master bedroom has a king size pillow top mattress and contains a desk and comfortable chair. The other two bedrooms have queen size mattresses, and each bedroom includes a small reading nook and lamp.
The living room is quite big and has a large screen television with a Bluray player and Roku so you can access your own streaming accounts. We have high speed Google fiber gigabit WiFi internet access throughout the house. I also have a retro gaming system that contains hundreds of original Nintento, Super Nintento, and Sega games, that is available upon request. I've also provided several board and card games that you and your travel companions are free to use! The large living room window has a beautiful view of Mount Timpanogos.
This listing includes a full sized washer and dryer in the unit for your use. I provide a small amount of detergent you are free to use to wash your belongings during your stay.
This unit is cooled by Air conditioning and heated with central air.
All linens and utilities included. Extra bedding can be found in the house, and extra linens can be provided upon request.
This house is completely private with your own exclusive entrance and carport that leads directly into the kitchen. Check in is easy with a keypad and password unique to you. Carport is large enough for 1 car and there is can easily enough space in the driveway to park another car right behind, and there is street parking should you need more. We live on the property, but will be out of your hair unless you need us!
We've lived in this neighborhood for more than10 years and have raised our children here. We love it! It is a bit of an older neighborhood and many of the houses were built in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, which gives the street a dated feel, but adds to the charm! Perfect for families or small groups. We are close to malls and restaurants, but the neighborhood itself is very quiet and full of families.
Please keep in mind, this unit is above another basement apartment. Each has their own private access, but the original wooden floors, while beautiful, are a bit creaky and the sound transfers downstairs, so please be respectful of the downstairs guest and observe quiet hours between 10:30 pm and 8:00 am.

The property was more or less as advertised. Floorboards do creek. neighborhood was one of the older ones in Provo. It seemed to have a fair number of college students in the neighborhood. Decent for the price

Very clean and comfortable property! Easy check in with your own door code. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Great sitting room for us all to relax together in the evening.

The property was close to BYU and MTC and provided all we needed for our stay!

the inside of the property was really cute and redone, comfortable beds and plenty of seating. great space. little noise with downstairs neighbors but not terrible

We stayed here while dropping off our daughter to start school at BYU. It was convenient to both BYU's campus and to all the shopping in Orem which we needed to help get her set up in her apartment. It was clean and comfortable and a bonus was how nicely decorated the whole place was! Also appreciated the off street parking.

This was our first time and it was great. The house was very clean and cute. Only problem was it was very warm even with the heat turned down

Charming little place. Really nice updates and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and feel like a home away from home. Host made the stay easy. Great location not too far from BYU campus and located in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend. Also, an awesome view of the mountains right out the front window.

Description of property was fairly accurate. It was a cute house and well decorated, but the floors do squeak, a lot!
There wasn't toilet paper when we arrived! Not good after traveling 8 hours. We went to the store to buy TP and paper towels.
The big drawback was the dismal amount of dishes and cutlery. For a house that sleeps 6, there was barely enough dishes so people could 4 to eat together.

It was very easy to get in and out. Close by everything we needed.

The house was super cute and clean! The location was great, because it was just down the street from my son’s new apartment.

The house was very nice inside. There were a lot of wires and such on the outide but does not effect the stay. The bedrooms were upstairs and the flooring up stairs is very squeaky. We did have to buy some toilet paper as we ran out. They have a very large tv - almost too big for the room. The overall stay was nice. The neighborhood was quiet. In the mornings we hung out in the front yard watching a family of quails. A mom, dad and four babies. The house is close to many stores and easy to get to. My parents and I stayed, they drove from Colorado and I flew in from Alaska.

The area was very central and close to lots of places. The house is older but had been fixed up very nicely. The owner was great and worked with us on a couple things.

Close to Sundance resort and comfortable.

The photos matched the property and the check in and check out process was smooth and easy. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Only concern is that the downstairs neighbors cooked food with a strong scent and it overwhelmed us upstairs to the point that we had to open windows. Ventilation should be improved, but overall, it was a great experience.

Very nice home. Clean and quiet neighborhood.

This worked well for fairly easy access to Provo canyon. The house was clean for the most part. So nice to have the extra toilet. Kids were excited about the games in the closet and the big TV. Things to be aware of: it is an older home so although the remodel is nice and up-to-date, the floors are really creaky so going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was noisy.
Bathroom vents were dusty (hence the 4 on cleanliness)

The rental is beautifully decorated. It is on a quiet street. A very safe neighborhood. Everything that we needed to feel at home was provided. We met the owners, very nice people.

This was the perfect house to stay at the week before our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and cutely decorated. Conveniently located for all of our pre wedding needs and both venues. We had room for cooking and baking and sewing and flower arrangement making!!! But mostly it was a comfortable place to gather and spend time as a family. Thank you. I’m sure we will be staying there again.

Great mid-century modern house
This was a great spot for our family while visiting college kids. We had several people over Sunday afternoon for a family event and the house was perfect for both our stay and for that gathering to celebrate a new baby. Owner was very attentive when we had a check-in issue and followed up to make sure we were all set. Will definitely stay here again. House has modern decor and owner/extended family are nearby so having your needs met is easy.

Comfy calm place in Provo
This was a great and comfortable place to stay during our Utah vacation/visit with family - we had 2 parents and 3 of our adult kids. Close to grocery stores and shopping. Clean, cool, and calm at the end of long days hiking and having fun.

Super clean and comfortable
Our hostess supplied everything we could have needed. The home was immaculate, and having the washer/dryer was such a nice plus. The neighborhood was quiet and very convenient. Parking was easy even though we had two cars. I would stay here again for sure. The only little difficulty was a squeaky floor for early morning trips to the bathroom... wakes up the rest of the house. Beds were comfy and clean, ample closet space. Really very nice!

Perfect getaway
Comfortable and convenient. We spent a month riding the bike trails and this location was awesome. Murdock Canal Trail, Provo River Parkway, Utah Lake, Spanish Fork River Trail, and the Jordan River Trail were all within 5 - 30 minutes. Darling home with everything we needed. Excellent host.

We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful week long stay at this property! The location is amazing and cnetral to everything we wanted to be close to (BYU, Provo Canyon, the highway, yummy food places, etc). The house had everything we needed and the owner was extremely easy to work with. We were extremely happy with our stay here and we will definitely stay here again in the future if it's available!
