About this house rental
This three-level home is perfect for large groups year-round. The voluminous and woodsy vaulted great room, with a wall of windows, offer fantastic natural light and magnificent views of the Continental Divide. There are 5 bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths. The property is great for weddings, receptions, reunions, or just vacations.
The home is located overlooking the town of Breckenridge, two blocks from the base of Peak 8. Breckenridge is a 140-year old Victorian mining town - a real town. It has more night life than anywhere else in Summit County, with over 200 restaurants and shops. Besides the usual skiing in winter and hiking and biking in summer, Breckenridge offers a summer music festival with orchestral performances from classical to contemporary music.
If your group is larger than this house accommodates, OR you want to be closer to downtown Breckenridge, check out our other property, the McWilliams House, as an additional or alternative rental. Located just blocks from Main Street with great views of the ski hills, the McWilliams House is our family's favorite location because it's a short walk to the ski shuttle, the gondola, every restaurant in town and City Market grocery store. You park your car and may never use it again. The McWilliams House is VRBO listing #15822.

Campblelot is the perfect place in Breck for a large group. Plenty of beds, couches, hang out areas, a big kitchen and dinning room for everyone, the hot tub is great! Easy to get to and from the mountain with the bus stop right down the road.

This house fit our group of 13 perfectly!
The kitchen and living room layout was open and comfortable while all of us relaxed, cooked and played games. The view from the top floor was great on a clear day.
Those sleeping in the bedrooms on the bottom floor- be prepared to be out of breath, as it is a lot to walk up 2 flights of steps at that altitude.
The garage allowed us to store all of our skis/boards without having to bring things inside and make a mess.
Washer and drier worked great and there was plenty of towels/sheets/blankets available, as well as laundry detergent, paper towel and toilet paper.
One flaw of the house was that you could only access the hot tub through two of the middle floor bedrooms. This was something we weren't aware of, but we dealt with it. Hot tub was awesome and worked great!
Other flaw was that the stove took a really long time to heat up to bake- be mindful of this if you're planning to cook- took us 2-3x as long to bake things as it typically would. Lots of pots and pans and cooking utensils, but no Tupperware, tin foil or baggies. There were a decent amount of spices/oil/cooking spray left over from previous guests.
The shuttle was the best method of transportation. We did take 4oclock run back to the house a few times, but you had to climb up a bank of 3ft of fresh snow, which was a little exhausting. Be mindful- the road going up to peak 7/8 is steep and highly recommend having 4/AWD.
I would absolutely stay here again!

The property is simply amazing. The living area is well furnished and organized. The views are amazing! The kitchen/dining area is perfect for cooking for a large group. The main bedrooms are on their own level (perfect for the adults). And entertainment area for the teens/kids in the basement. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!!!!

Once again, the Campbellot home fit our family perfectly: great access to skiing, spacious, relaxing, and an opportunity for great memories.

House was just the right location, size, and feel for a family reunion of 12. Hosts were available, facilities and amenities great, and place was homey. Thanks for a great stay.

Nine of our family members loved our recent stay over Christmas! The location of the property was ideal and there was plenty of comfortable room for all of us to be together and to find some privacy if needed. We would definitely stay at 4 O'Clock again. Kate was super helpful as was Ingrid.

Super Easy Escape to Breckenridge
My family and another family spent a 5 night ski vacation in this wonderful property. There was more than enough room for all 11 of us. We never felt like we were crammed or on top of each other. The location to the base of Peak 8 was great! Although the home is not ski in-ski out (the bus is a mere two blocks away). It was really easy to get to town as well.
The great room and kitchen were massive, and allowed for everyone to sit around the table rather comfortably. The hot tub was a plus!
I would definately stay here again when we return to Breck!

Great cozy ski in-and-out
We had a great experience at this house. We stayed there for 10 days, working from the house during the week, and because it was in-and-out we were able to take work breaks to ski. Ingrid and Darby were very responsive and immediately helped us with any question we had. The house is very cozy and very comfortable. It has several floors and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms so even though we were a large group it never felt cramped. It has a very large jacuzzi which was clean and they came to clean again mid week. It also has washer/dryer with soap and dryer sheets. The only thing we missed were shampoos/conditioner which we had to go buy for each bathroom, everything else was perfect. Overall we highly recommend this place!

Great House!
I stayed here with a group of 16 friends and it was the perfect house for us. It is very big with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a big group.
It is very close to Peak 7 and 8, there is a shuttle stop just down the road and you can also ski in/out via 4 O'clock run.
Would highly recommend this house!

The right house for a large family gathering
This house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms accommodated our group of 6 adults (two couples and two singles) and 6 children comfortably. The main level of the kitchen, family room and deck was the focal point for our family and we had plenty of room to enjoy one another. Parking for four cars fit fine. The kitchen is well equipped and it seems this house has had many visitors. The town of Breckenridge is not in walking distance (more than a mile and perhaps 200+ feet of climbing coming back at 10,000 feet) but we were easily able to park in town. We were pleased with this house and would stay here again.

Phenomenal Location
Easy booking, great directions to house. Great views both above and below: mountains, stars, moose and foxes, o my! Close enough to town to be tempting but far away enough to keep our attention focused on the beauty around us.

Good experience
Good location and good size house for large group but the house is dated and could use some upkeep. It should be added in the description that someone lives above the garage at the house. Renting a house you expect more privacy than a hotel or condo so when someone is in the garage tinkering on their motorcycles it kind of ruins that experience. Just some things that could be done from making it a good stay to a great stay.

Great cabin!
Great place for our family reunion. The teens loved the first floor, enjoyed the ping pong table and media access. We all enjoyed the easy access to local homes and to town. Also enjoyed the well maintained hot tub. Bus system is easy to navigate, free, and accessible by a very short walk. Grandparents mostly relaxed at home, but loved reading out on the deck. The large dining table was great for family meals and games. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, so we each took a turn preparing meals.

I'll start by saying the owner and property manager were very friendly, so this is nothing against them. However, we felt the house itself fell far short of what we're used to in a vacation rental. The house needs updating and maintenance. For example, one of the first things we did was spend 20 minutes trying to find a low-battery beeping smoke detector in one of the bedrooms. The reason it was so hard to find is it had been placed in a dresser drawer. Another smoke detector in the main living area was hanging on the wall by its wires, which made us wonder if it even worked.Multiple power outlets in the house are either loose or don't work at all, particularly in the basement. Also, the heat doesn't distribute evenly throughout the house. The first night, the basement was freezing while the rest of the house was warm. I realized that one of the basement windows was cracked open because the hand crank used to close it was broken (it was about 15 degrees outside at the time). In order to close the window and latch it, I had to walk through knee-deep snow and close it from the outside. Even after the window was closed, the basement remained cold and drafty. The kids we had sleeping there complained of being cold every night, while those of us in the upper levels were actually hot. It's unfortunate that there is only one thermostat for the entire house.Another issue is the 1/2 bath on the main kitchen/living room level was inoperable, meaning we had to climb stairs to use the restroom, and the kids sleeping in the loft had to climb 2 flights of stairs to go.The king bed my wife and I slept in had the slats slip off the base each night we slept on it, requiring us to lift the mattress and replace the slats. Additionally, regarding the beds many of our guests complained that the mattresses and pillows were not comfortable. They seemed old and needed to be replaced, in my opinion.Just to not be entirely negative, we liked the amount of space on the main level. There were 11 of us, and we had plenty of room to visit and hang out. Also, the kitchen area was very nice. The views were great and it was easy access to the bus stop. However, all things considered, we would not stay at this house again.

Nice spot
The location of this house is terrific, it's about 1/4 mile from the base at peak 8. Free shuttle stops about 100 yards away. We had 8 people, 2 adults and all of our 18-29 year old children. Everyone was able to have their own room, and privacy. The house does need some updating, beds, bathrooms, carpeting, etc are a bit dated, however, we had a wonderful time.

Great ski vacation home
We enjoyed our week at this property. The kids loved playing in the snow and in the hot tub. Large living room for us to play games and relax. Kitchen was fully equipped. Loved that there was a place for us to store our ski equipment in the garage. It was so easy to make ourselves at home.

Amazing Stay in Breckenridge
We really enjoyed our time at your house, and we will definitely be back again. Amazing location, we could walk to peak 8 and walk or bus to downtown. We saw moose and foxes from our balcony. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 to spread out. Our teens spent evenings in the hot tub, playing ping pong and slack lining. A great time had by all!
