The WAinui Boardroom Chalet is a light, bright and modern unit perfect for families. It is situated a 5 min walk to the famous WAinui Beach and surrounded by lush gardens. Enjoy your morning coffee in your private outdoor area or take a stroll to the beach and grab one from the local vegan cafe Zephr. The inground swimming pool is perfect for kids and shared by the hosts and their kids too, also we give you guys plenty of time on your own too! The Wainui chalet is only a short drive to the heart of Gisborne where there are lots of local cafes and restaurants. The Gisborne region also has many stunning wineries and a tour to some of these is a must.

Our family had an awesome time staying here. Exceptional hosts who made us feel really welcome. Our granddaughter had heaps of fun playing with the hosts children and even braved the swimming pool despite it being nearly winter (which was very refreshing at this time of the year). We will definitely be back again, perhaps over summer when we can enjoy the pool some more!! Thanks for having us.

My parents and I came in for a funeral and although it wasn't the best circumstance, the accommodation made our short stay much more enjoyable. The pics don't do it justice such a neat lil place! Definitely will be coming back. Thanks Hailey.

This is a lovely unit, right next door to the owners house. You have your own back yard - but use of their lovely swimming pool too! Well equipped, with two single beds in one bedroom and a double in the other. And a lovely owner!

Excellent stay with super friendly hosts and a lovely atmosphere that only a happy home has. The separate poolside unit is comfy, airy and has all you need. It’s quiet even though it’s joined into the family house. Hosts do all they can to make you feel ‘at home’. We’ll be back!

Our Bach was exactly as expected - Clean and tidy with a pool and not too far from the Beach. Perfectly suited for our needs A nice place to stop for a couple of nights

Lovely accommodation in a slice of Heaven, as quiet or as animated as various visitors may wish! Moreover it is very close to notorious surf spots, the vibrant community makes the whole experience even more interesting if you want that and if you are into bard shaping you can even talk about that at The Boardroom - they really know their stuff, I won't be surprised if you even end up buying their boards or ask for a custom.

The Chalet was well equipped for inhouse living, in reasonable walking distance to the beach but also access to the pool at your back door. This accommodation was excellent value for money.
