About this house rental
For a holiday in the sun without leaving the country, this exceptional 3 bedroom townhouse located at the exclusive waterfront resort community of Solé Vita is a perfect getaway! Set on nearly ten acres of beautifully landscaped property, this gated community in BC’s Desert Wine Country is a true home away from home. It’s a short and easy walk to the private sandy beach, exclusively for resort guests. The beautifully landscaped lawns are complete with a volleyball net as well as areas for playing outdoor games or relaxing in our hammock. Enjoy sunsets on the large dock, take picnics down to the beach, or head back to your villa for a BBQ on your private patio. To cool off after a vigorous bike ride or paddle, take a dip in one of the two swimming pools, just seconds from your back door. There are also two hot tubs, an amenities room, with a full gym available to our guests.
Osoyoos Lake is one of the warmest in Canada. If you want to rent a boat, the marina at the public beach across the lake has everything from jet skis and power boats to canoes and kayaks available.
We especially welcome snow birds as well, with great rates from November 1 - April 30 each year.
The townhouse itself is a 1369ft2 residence with 3 bedrooms, 9 foot ceilings throughout, granite countertops, breakfast nook, stainless steel appliances, gas stovetop, air conditioning, gas fireplace, tile and carpet flooring, Samsung TV, and in-suite laundry. Free wireless internet, Optik TV, and Netflix included.
Continuing with the main level, off the living/dining room are double-doors opening to a beautiful patio, complete with patio table & chairs, a canopy-style umbrella, cushioned outdoor furniture, and a Weber gas barbecue, ideal for entertaining family and friends. The villa also contains a single-car garage used for storage of the kayaks and water toys, with room to store your own sports equipment, or wine purchases!
Upstairs, you will find a large master suite with a private bathroom, ample closet space, a work area, and a balcony for morning coffee and reading time. The two additional bedrooms have 2 twin beds in one room, and a queen bed in the other. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Beds include fresh linens and all bedrooms have a dresser and/or closet space. There is another upstairs full bathroom with tub and shower, and a full bathroom with a shower on the main level. Beach towels and bath towels are supplied for your convenience.
Sole Vita is a very low density property with only 86 units, making it feel very spacious and peaceful. There is also a gorgeous lagoon on the property full of fish, birds, and a park next door.
For international visitors with vacation rentals at Sole Vita, the Kelowna International Airport is a scenic two hour drive from your lodging. The Penticton Airport also services the area for some Canadian flights, and is only an hour away.
The South Okanagan Valley has the lowest annual rainfall and the highest average temperatures in Canada. This combination helps to make it the ideal growing environment for grapes and other fruits. There are a number of excellent wineries near Sole Vita vacation rentals. You can take a tour of the vineyards and production facilities, sample the fine wines and purchase your favourites to enjoy back at your townhouse. Organized tours are available if you don’t want to do the driving yourself. There are also many excellent winery and community events throughout the year. Some of the best wineries, especially those with a focus on red wines are located minutes from Sole Vita.
Imagine your day starting with a peaceful coffee by the water, listening to the birds, and watching the sun gleam off the lake. Maybe you take in a beautiful walk, kayak, hike or bike ride in the morning, then head to any of the excellent wineries close by. Return in the afternoon to lounge by the pool, followed by a simple BBQ and drinks on your private patio, or go for dinner out at one of the many restaurants within walking distance. For special nights, book a dinner at one of the stunning wineries, including Hester Creek, Nk’Mip, Tinhorn Creek, or Burrowing Owl to name a few. Come enjoy the warmth and charm of Osoyoos, and the unique and immaculate haven of Sole Vita.
Osoyoos Lake also has good fishing for Rainbow Trout, Large and Smallmouth Bass, and even for Kokanee and Sockeye salmon. Be sure to purchase a BC fishing license online or from the Shell station in town if you plan to fish.
The name Osoyoos (pronounced “oh-sue-use”, from the earlier “Souyoos”) is a British Columbia First Nations word meaning 'The Narrows of the Lake'.
At Sole Vita you can enjoy the sun and the lake, along with freshly picked fruit and excellent wines. Venture a bit further west on a beautiful day trip to Keremeos to enjoy fresh organic u-pick farms, and mouth-watering farmers markets. Come for a romantic getaway, a summer or winter retreat, or bring the family. Either way you are sure to have a relaxing holiday you won’t forget!

We came in May so pools just opened. Place was clean they have pool and beach toys for you if you need them. We had our own. Great location and especially if you have kids. They have a nice welcome gift. We have been regulars to Osoyoos for awhile so know all the bike trails and wineries but they leave information for you. Provide all necessary basics bathrooms, laundry and kitchen.
Lol one thing that would be nice is garage door/gate opener.

Our stay at the Solé Vita resort, in a 3 bedroom Condo was wonderful. The Condo was in a manicured and quiet gated community. When we entered the condo we found a lovely card and a bottle of wine, from the owners, welcoming us into their home. What a lovely gesture.
While in Osoyoos, we went for walks almost everyday, along a vineyard. The view was spectacular. We visited vineyards and enjoyed golfing. What a great experience!

We had a great time! We booked this because my parents have a place here too, gave us extra space, basically just slept here but was very well equipped and well organized! Made lots of summer memories! Looking forward to next year:)

Nice, well equipped, conveniently located property. It is an easy 20 minute walk to downtown and the road serving the property is a dead end so very little traffic. The townhouse is very well equipped, the kitchen has just about everything you could think of, the knives are even sharp. There are plenty of towels and bedding. The bed is comfortable. There is lots of grass behind the townhouse between it and the pool. There is very easy access to the beach and a very nice pier. We had a very good stay.

Comfortable snowbird stay!
This townhouse was a good choice for our two winter months in Osoyoos. Three bedrooms and bathrooms for a couple are more than adequate. We wonder if the compact kitchen and living area might be small for six people. The upper level gets nice natural lighting, the lower level less so.
The whole accommodation is very well equipped, even for an extended stay. We used the attached garage like a porch, for storage and as a cold storage pantry.
From the convenient location we walked downtown and around the lake. Our favourite walk was up to Spirit Ridge, through desert and/or vineyard.
A real plus about the VRBO was Dawn! Her responses were always immediate, helpful and personable, right from initial inquiries months ago. She kindly stuck with us through struggles with the Telus when the TV box needed replacement.
The information on this site is perfectly real.

Fall Break
We really enjoyed our time here. It was a short walk to the coffee shop and grocery store. There was a beautiful view of the lake nearby. The food in the nearby pub was great. Would definitely come back.

We spent a month in this idyllic property to escape our confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic. WE could not have chosen a better location or property.
Dawn was an amazing host who was always available, welcoming, and responsive to any of our questions. The condominium looks almost new and has everything you might want and more. We really felt at home.
We miss the evenings sitting on the dock watching the sun go down and our moring jog/ cycle along the lakeshore or into the vineyards.

Awesome Property!
We are a couple of Snowbirds from Saskatchewan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Osoyoos. Praise to the homeowners/hosts of this property. They were very accommodating and let us check in hours before the scheduled time and also offered us an extension of our stay in case of inclement weather. The townhouse is beautifully maintained and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which was really appreciated. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and a roomy desk area. All the comforts of home away from home. We were able to choose our own channel groupings on Pik TV and as avid curling fans it was nice to have access to the sports channels. The townhouse itself is perfectly located within the private gated community. An added bonus is access to the Sole Vita gym complex and outdoor hot tub. The complex is a short walk uptown for lunch or coffee and to all the other shopping amenities that Osoyoos has to offer. We would definitely choose to rent this townhouse again only next time we would stay longer!

Our stay in Osoyoos at the Sole Vita town house unit was very pleasant and relaxing. We decided to leave home a day earlier as there was a storm warning on our travel route. Our Hostess Dawn was very accommodating for us to get in to the town house a day ahead of our reservation. Thankfully we avoided road closures. The home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed a welcoming bottle of local wine and a welcome by the lady caretaker. The kitchen had every thing we needed to make our stay homey! The beds and bedding were oh so comfy. Dawn ordered a Pik TV box so we could get some of the programs we like to watch. Another example of the wonderful hostess she is. The town house is nicely located to the downtown and shops, within easy walking distance and we often enjoyed lunch uptown. We did miss having a garage to park our auto, especially when the weather turned cold. It was indicated there was a garage. Although we could see for the summer there would be some great recreation equipment stored there. A great place to stay, we would definitely go back. Maurice and Pat from Airdrie Alberta
