CAMP WATERCOLOR
‘Mint Julep’ is seated in the perfect area! It is close to the pools and is a short bike ride to the Beach Club. Camp WaterColor is a well-known hot spot for tourists because of its quick accessibility to the resort pools, the Beach Club, shopping, dining and beach access along 30A. It is located in the northeast section of this resort and approximately 10 blocks from the beach. Camp WaterColor has an enormous waterpark and is approximately 2 blocks from the home. It features a lazy river, a main pool with a slide, a zero-entry pool and a small children’s area with a slide. It also includes a playground, basketball court and The Canteen Restaurant & Bar, which serves delicious meals daily, currently open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
THE BEACH CLUB
The Beach Club is located right by the WaterColor Inn and Resort. It has a tall tower you can’t miss that marks the entrance. This exclusive club is 45,000 sq. ft. and provides access to a children’s pool, large family pool with plenty of lounge seating, changing rooms with showers and lockers, an open bar called Costa Chica, WaterColor Grill restaurant and a sun deck. This famous club also has spectacular beach views and grants access to the pristine sparkling white sands and dazzling emerald blue ocean. Currently open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

‘Mint Julep’ provides INCREDIBLE beds and bedding! Fluffy, white, brand new duvets have been placed in the master suites downstairs and queen suite upstairs. The wonderful beds provide the perfect firmness, comfort and support.
In total, the home has 4 spacious bedrooms (2 are master suites with king beds) which all have TVs, and sleeps 10 people. The 2 master suites are located on the first floor and there are 2 bedrooms located on the 2nd floor. The second floor has a queen suite with 2 queen beds, a bunkroom with 2 twin beds and a game room with 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds) and a pull out couch.
There are 3 bathrooms in this stunning home. There is one en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, water closet and a standing shower, for the master bedroom with a king bed on the 1st floor. There is another full bathroom on the 1st floor with a shower/tub combo and it opens to the first floor hallway, as well as to the second master King bedroom. The third full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is located on the second floor, at the end of the hall.

The house was amazing. All 10 of us had an amazing time.

Just as described. We had 4 adults and 6 kids. Everyone slept comfortably. There were even additional beds that could have been used. Pool was in excellent condition. Hot tub worked. Golf cart was in excellent condition. Very smooth process and stress-free!

We had a great stay at the property and loved having access to all of the Watercolor amenities. The hot tub didn’t get hot, just stayed the same temperature as the heated pool, but still enjoyable!

We had a wonderful time with family here! The house was great for our group with kids from 6 months- 10 yo as well as 6 adults. The home was well stocked and clean. Plenty of space for everyone. Coffee on the porch and nights in the hot tub were amazing. We had a brand new golf cart that was so fun to drive around. Excellent location- minutes to a grocery store, pools, beach and shopping/restaurants- we didn’t need to get in the car at all. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We will be back to Watercolor and would highly recommend this home to anyone. The only thing I would recommend is to bring or buy towels for the pool- with all of us we were short on towels for pool and showers. Thanks for a great stay!!

We love watercolor and visit several times each summer, but this was our first Christmas there and this home was perfect! The house was spacious with great porches and ample parking for three cars (some houses only have space for one car) a great pool with a jacuzzi we used nightly, and a fabulous six seater golf cart! We hope to visit this property again!

Wow, we loved our stay at this property. Very well appointed, great floorplan, fantastic outdoor area with hot tub and pool, and convenient location near all Watercolor amenities and services. Really appreciate the communication with property management, they were very helpful and responsive in resolving an issue with the golf cart. Would definitely stay here again.

The description of the house was a lie. There was barely a yards for our dogs. The grill was awful. The golf cart is old. The bikes were old and we had to call property manager to bring decent ones. The house was dirty. No drawer space to put clothes in. Been coming to Watercolor for 12 years worst house. Side note the property manager showing up fixing the bike situation was why I gave it 2 stars

I chose the Mint Julep because we could bring our furry family member along. I know that homes that allow a dog are not as nicely kept as ones that do not…This home has nice space and is decorated very nicely. The slip covers on the couches and chairs are all dirty and stained… because it’s pet friendly. The kitchen has dishes ready for use. There was one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one roll of paper towel in the kitchen… the minimum stay is 7 nights. There are no beach or pool towels. There is one trash bag for use. There is a small bar of soap for hand washing at the sink. For almost $2,000 a night, the host was stingy and we had to purchase basic essentials in order to make it the full week. The bikes are rusty and old, the golf cart broke down at major intersection.

Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay at Mint Julep. Here are the pluses and minuses of the home:
Pluses:
-golf cart was a huge plus for getting around
-location is fantastic. Super close to Publix and Camp Watercolor as well as the beach
-beds very comfy
-spacious home with great floor plan
-cute front porch with big swing
-upstairs area was perfect for kids
Minuses:
-pool alarm was absolutely annoying. We stay in Florida homes with pools every summer and have never dealt with anything like this. Constantly having to remember to push the button to turn off was so annoying when you have a family of 9 with 5 kids.
-floors seemed very dirty, almost like a black film
-screen porch is oddly located and only has a dining table on it. Would be better with some chairs and couches
-fire pit area needs cleaned up. Not inviting.
-No beach towels provided. Which just means more stuff to pack.
-no lids for any of the pots!
-cover on front porch swing cushion could use a washing
-no cushions on back porch couch. And the pillows were dirty
We would probably stay here again but the property just needs a a few little basic fixes to make it a 5 star stay. With the money you pay to stay here it needs to be better managed rather than “set it and forget it”.

Great location
We had a wonderful week at Mint Julep. The home itself was in the perfect location. An easy walk to the pools and a short golf cart ride to the beach. We had a few complaints about the property, especially with young kids. The floors were extremely dirty. You could not go barefoot in the home without them turning black. This was difficult with the amount of kids in the home. Also, there are no blinds in the upstairs bedroom where the bunk beds are. This leaves for a very early and bright wake up for the kids or anyone staying in the room .

Had a great stay, the place had new counters installed the day prior to arrival. There was a water heater issue, promptly taken care if by management company with great response from owner and management company. Highky recommended.

Family Vacay
We stayed here for my moms 60th birthday! The house was amazing and just as pictured!! The pool and so were so nice to have and everything was so close by! The golf cart made getting everywhere super easy and the community pools were so clean and nice! We will definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful Watercolor House
We had a great stay (two families, 4 adults and 4 kids) at this property. The access to the beach and pool clubs are wonderful amenities and the golf cart and bike use (as part of the rental) makes it extremely easy to get around.
The house itself is prettier than the pictures and the furnishings and kitchen housewares are a nice quality. Everything was in very good condition. It made for good eating and comfy sleeping while we were there.
We are considering returning again to seaside and would happily return to this exact house.

Perfect Place
The Mint Julep house was perfect for our family! Everyone had plenty of room, and it was tastefully appointed. The management office was always available, and that was a bug plus when the back door pool safety alarm was acting up. The only small negative was the fact that one needed a PhD to figure out the TV remotes. It was rather frustrating. A small “how to” card would have been helpful. Regardless SD One manages a great property and we look forward to coming back soon!

Great Family House
Overall this house and neighborhood are great. This was our first visit to 30A and I am so glad we chose WaterColor. It is geared towards family and the pools, beach club, etc. are all amazing. This house was a great layout and size for our two families, with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids. If need be you could sleep another 4 easily. The kids LOVED the pool and used it multiple times a day. The only recommendations I would suggest are these...
1. Update literature in the welcome book about towels and heated pools at Camp WaterColor. Due to covid they do NOT supply towels and the pool isn't heated until after Thanksgiving.
2. Supply beach towels. We flew in so didn't think that we needed to bring our own towels. Given you can't rent towels at any of the pools this is a must for families.
3. Provide soap trays in the bathrooms to hold the bar soaps. They all had to just sit on the counter making a mess.
4. Provide more plastic cups to use outdoors.
5. Consider adding a few more kitchen staples such as a simple salt and pepper.

Nice house with all amenities. Great kitchen, great pool. Only issue was that 3 of the 6 bikes were in poor condition and one of the 3 good ones had a lock that we couldn't get unlocked. But all in all, a great house for a family vacation!

We have stayed in many home in the area and they have all been lovely but Mint Julep was very special. It was charming, warm and comfortable. Beautifully designed and was very easy to make yourself at home The outdoor amenities were wonderful. We spent alot of time at the pool, fire pit and screened porch. Kitchen was spacious, attractive and stocked with anything you could need. We thoroughly ly enjoyed this stay.

Mint Julep was an awesome house for Spring Break w/ the family. Great amenities (heated jacuzzi & pool, with a fire table sitting area nearby) were a plus. Location was fantastic - close to trails, Camp Watercolor, etc. Sand Dollar was very responsive and communicated well. Will definitely stay there again!

The Mint Julip was just what we needed, as an escape from the world for just a little while. The rental process was easy, the management company was responsive and respected our privacy. We enjoyed the home; especially, the pool and spa. The home was clean, but dated. Still, it was perfect for us, this February.

Great location, okay property
The location of the home is wonderful (close to Camp Watercolor and the tennis center, short bike ride to the beach). Overall, the house wasn't in the best shape. When we arrived, the pool was filthy. We called the property management company and they had someone come out to clean it the next day. Several of the bikes were missing locks so we ended up not using those, the dishwasher wasn't in great condition and some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty when we arrived. We also had a repairman show up one day to fix something wrong with the fridge. The rental property didn't give us a heads up that someone was coming. Overall, the property was okay (definitely one of the older Watercolor properties, which is fine), but the management company was not the best. There are better companies to rent from in the area.
