We had a small family reunion here and it was perfect. Everyone from my 23 year old son to my 88 year old mother loved it. Great location. Charming comfortable house. Really feels like home. Enough space for all of us to be together when we wanted and still have some privacy. Sitting on the porch or on the little deck overlooking the beach was magical.
Would love to come back. The north shore has enough things to keep you busy without losing the read holiday vibe.
Communication can be a little unreliable through the VRBO website but that’s no fault of the owner.

Definitely recommend. House is as advertised. Nice to be on a gated property. Gorgeous view. Love the deck. Chickens are fun but will relieve themselves on outdoor furniture occasionally. Had a few issues including with stove and contact was responsive to all and sent someone out for stove (just a weird setting change fix). We enjoyed the beach but it was a little intimidating for our one teenager. Had to find less rocky areas to enter & exit the water. Probably not for little ones or inexperienced swimmers. Two things we’d add for more comfort: screen door for master bedroom slider and outdoor lawn furniture loungers. There are plenty of comfortable chairs, but loungers would be nice. Everything else was great.

This home is a little piece of paradise! The pictures of the home are spot on. The kitchen appliances look brand new. We had everything we needed to cook and relax right here on the property. If you read the reviews of others, they are all very accurate. The home is comfortable, well appointed, views amazing and the beach is your back yard. Sunset is less than 2 miles down the road and the surf is flat in the summer. Shark's cove is 15 min walk for amazing snorkeling, Waimea Bay is also a short drive. Hopefully this house is available in a couple years when we come back.

Words won’t do this place justice… pictures certainly don’t. As nice as the photos looked, I wasn’t prepared for just how lovely of a space this house is. The cleanliness and attention to detail in decor and furnishings was incredible. The space was perfect for our family of four (my 18 year old took the guest room with one bed and my 13 year old took the two twin beds room). The porch and lanai were the stars of the show. We loved the views and spent our mornings doing yoga on the lawn, coffee on the lanai, and enjoying the sounds of waves. Evenings found us enjoying dinner on the porch, sunsets from the lanai and surfers catching waves (even in summer!) We didn’t swim at our beach due to lots of rocks and signs saying extreme currents but we loved watching the surfers and waves and we were a short distance to plenty of other beaches perfect for snorkeling, swimming, etc.
The location is perfect! We walked to Pipeline, Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay, Foodland, food trucks and more. The bike paths are great walkways. Of course it’s a quick drive as well for those who don’t want to walk (I believe it took us about 20-ish minutes to walk to Waimea Bay). Ted’s Bakery is close as well. Honestly, it was just the best location! Quick drives to Haleiwa, Turtle Bay, etc.
You will not be disappointed in this house or the location. I truly hope we are able to stay here again one day. It was pure magic and a vacation that won’t be forgotten!

We absolutely loved staying here! Incredibly private, beautiful location right on the beach. Walking distance to Pipeline. Communication with the host was great. We were 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 24+) and I can't say enough positive things about this house. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Perfect house for a family vacation. Very secure & private and one of the best houses on the North Shore still available to rent. Easy walk to Pipeline and 15 min walk to Foodland and Foodtrucks. 15 min drive into Haleiwa town for surf lessons and many excellent restaurants. 15 min drive in the other direction to Secret Beach and Turtle Bay Resort for golf, and their amazing Sunset Bar.
We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Amazing sunsets from the sunset deck & hot tub. Lots of great memories made in this home with family & friends. Highly recommend!

Although we had a couple of minor issues the property manager responded quickly and addressed the issues. The property was spectacular. Location was great. FYI for those not familiar with this location. Honolulu can take more than an hour to get there. At times it was a 2 hour drive to get back. So be aware of rush hour. Saw whales and the waves were huge. Couldn't swim because of the current. The waves were reaching 30 feet at times. We saw a lot of surfers. Highly recommend this property if you like a nice quiet vacation.

Imagine waking up, looking out the window and catching surfers paddling out, or whales swimming by. This house location is perfection. The hose has everything you need for a great vacation, the location is ideal if you want to stay on the sunny north shore. The property is better than the pictures. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The property was everything we expected and more! The beach was fantastic, the property is very private. We enjoyed the deck and yard that is completely gated. We stay on the north shore every year and will be staying here again! The host is responsive and checkin and out was a very simple process.

What a great place! The view of the surf and amazing surfers from inside and outside the house cannot be beat. Watching the sunset every evening from the observation deck was a highlight of our stay. The house was very well furnished with everything you could need and had lots of space for our family of five adults to relax.

Great house directly on the beach and conveniently located near Foodland, Shark’s Cove and Haleiwa town. So quiet and private!
We had a slight hiccup at check-in but the local contact was very responsive and resolved the issue.

This location and property is top notch. We've stayed in several beach front locations on Oahu and nowhere has gotten us seclusion that is so close to the water. If crashing waves, very low crowds, and whale watching (during the right time of the year) are your thing, then this is the place. The only negative was that the surf was too strong to safely swim at this beach. It is not a negative of the property, just a fact to know. The same thing that gives crashing waves also comes with a risk. This is likely calmer during the summer but we were Spring Break (end of March) and the waves were still high. We also appreciated one firm bed and one soft bed as we had one couple that preferred each and it was a perfect fit for us. Great front porch to still be outside comfortably when it was raining plus the fantastic patio at the edge of the property to sit and watch the sunsets. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

By far the nicest beach house on the coast. I have rented many houses along the Pupukea to Sunset Beach area and this house is absolutely beautiful.

Pictures do not do this home any justice. Sat out back every morning to watch the whales, dolphins and surfers! Had Ms. Penny, the kitty, come to visit. Home has everything you could possibly need. Would love to stay again…

I agree with many past reviews that the pictures do not do this property justice. We loved everything about this place. We used the BBQ every night with the family and enjoyed the sunsets from the back lanai & deck over looking the ocean. Rooms were comfortable and the AC worked great. We did not want to leave. My wife and I walked daily using the walk / bike path that runs along the north shore surf beaches. Our adult children rented bikes & mopeds. There is plenty of parking space inside the private gated driveway. We initially booked this property a couple of years ago, but because of COVID we had to adjust our dates several times and Patrick was very easy to work with. Once we arrived everything was clean inside & out and ready for our arrival. Hopefully we have the chance to stay at this property again in the future.

The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything needed for a long vacation. It is in a very nice neighborhood not far from several places to see the sights and play at the beach with your family. Recommendations Haleiwa historic town was an adorable town for shopping and food and not to far from here. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us. It was the perfect place away from home.

It was such a magical stay. We watched whales each morning from the deck, surfed and swam in the waves and even saw a “moonbow” (moon rainbow) over the water from the full moon our last night. Lovely place. Plenty of space and a nice kitchen with everything you might need. Backyard was spacious and leads right to the water. Was walking distance from pipeline and some great food trucks. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!
