From the time we arrived and greeted by our host, we were so glad we chose this home. It has everything one could possibly want - and more! It's charming and immaculate. The location is very good to get to wherever you want and parking was not a problem at any time. There are groceries nearby, if needed.

My friend and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house has a very homely vibe, is super clean which was a must for us and designed well. Annechien is such a lovely host, so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Just minutes away from connecting buses to Leiden, Den Hague and bike ride away from 2 lovely beaches. The town has everything you want - supermarkets, amazing restaurants, cafes, shopping places. We really enjoyed our stay here.

After 20 years we returned to Wassanar. The apartment was spotless and fitted out with everything that one would need. Everything had been carefully created to make one feel very welcome. The hosts were just great and made us feel that our holiday was going to be a bit special. They were full of great information of they area.
They went way and above what was expected even to getting us travel tickets for the local transport.

Even before our stay communication was excellent. We were greeted on arrival and shown round the property which was beautifully clean and well equipped. Bed super comfy. Lovely, friendly town, everything you need within walking distance and yet house is quiet and private. There is also a beautiful beach nearby. Great location to explore a wonderful country. We liked it so much we booked to return later this year. Only point to mention is that parking isn’t specifically allocated but we had no problems finding a nearby space and a parking disc is provided.

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for the two of us. Clean, well care for , comfortable and in a great location. The village was beautiful and lots of interesting places to visit nearby. The host was super helpful. We want to go back!

This property far surpassed our expectations for location, comfort and being superbly equipped. The owner Annechiem has thought of absolutely everything. She showed us around on arrival and was inordinately helpful and friendly. The location is superb, central to Wassenaar yet quiet, easy for parking, The condition of everything in the house is like new - for example two excellent coffee machines - filter and nespresso. Certainly the best rental we have ever had in Holland; we will return!

Die Vermieter des Ferien Objekts waren sehr nett ,freundlich und Hilfsbereit.Beide haben auch jede Menge Information zum Ferienobjekt und zum Ferienort und Umgebung gegeben.

Geweldig, in alle opzichten
Deze vakantiewoning is eigenlijk een compleet huis. Met een knusse woonkamer, een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een douche met wc beneden en op de 1e verdieping een slaapkamer met een nette badkamer en een inloopkast. Alles schoon en netjes. De communicatie met het zeer vriendelijke verhuurders-echtpaar verliep goed en zonder problemen. Een echte aanrader voor wie de omgeving Den Haag, Leiden, Scheveningen, het strand en de duinen wil verkennen. Wij hebben dat op de fiets gedaan en dat is goed te doen. Kortom een fijne vakantiewoning in een mooie omgeving.

For your information, the staircase leading to the bedroom is typically dutch, which means narrow and steep steps.

Wir hatten leider nur 4 Tage Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war super. Die Stadt ist gemütlich, es fehlt an nichts. Die Umgebung ist toll, vor allem zum Fahrradfahren. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Holland authentisch
Sehr nette Vermieter wohnen im Nachbarhaus. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist zwar klein, reicht aber für ein Frühstück in der Morgensonne. Sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Eine Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen
Die Fotos ließen unsere Vorfreude ständig wachsen... und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, liegt in einer netten Straße in einem Anbau und ist sehr ruhig und sauber, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.Die Vermieterin und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.Wassenaar selbst ist ein gepflegter Ort mit individuellen Geschäften, das Museum Voorlinden ein absolutes Muss.Wir werden mit Sicherheit gerne wieder in diese Wohnung kommen um die weitere Umgebung zu erkunden.

Stadt und Natur
Ein wunderbares kleines Haus, wirklich komplett gut ausgestattet- nichts fehlte. Auch das w-lan war störungsfrei. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Die Lage mitten im Ort ist gut, alle Geschäfte sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Zum Strand kann man mit dem Rad in ca. 20 Minuten fahren- die Strecke ist schön. Zwei sehr schöne Museen sind ganz in der Nähe: Museum Voorlinden ist in ca. 10 Autominuten zu erreichen und das Kunstmuseum in den Haag erreicht man in ca. 3o Minuten per Auto. Alles in allem sehr lohnenswert!!!

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Wassenaar. In der Unterkunft fehlt es an absolut nichts und es ist sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, sei es bei dem zur Verfügung stellen von Rädern oder Ausflugtipps. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt ganz Zentral im Altstadtkern von Wassenaar.
Gemütliche Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
Die großräumige Wohnung ist gepflegt, sauber und mit Liebe gestaltet. Hier ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.
Die Räume sind hell und freundlich und es steht auch ein kleiner Aussenbereich zum Sitzen zur Verfügung.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Bei Rückfragen kann man sich jederzeit an sie wenden.
Wir kommen sicher gerne mal wieder hier her!

Wir wurden von den Vermieter sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Hofhaus bietet alles was man braucht. Es ist alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In Wassenaar kann gut eingekauft werden. Wir wären noch viel länger geblieben!

sehr nette Vermieterin, super Lage
Wir waren mit drei Personen in der Ferienwohnung untergebracht und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und sehr bemüht einem immer zu helfen und gibt auch gerne Tips. Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr hell und freundlich eingerichtet, mit vielen kleinen, lieben Details und Dekorationen. Die Treppe nach oben ist etwas steil und für ältere Personen nicht unbedingt geeignet, ansonsten war alles in der Wohnung, was man für einen Urlaub braucht.Die Schlafcouch und die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Das Auto kann nicht für länger vor der Tür geparkt werden aber zum öffentlichen, kostenfreien Parkplatz sind es nur ca. zwei Minuten zu Fuß durch einen kleinen Park. Geschäfte und die Fußgängerzone sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung und auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bis zum Strand von Wassenaar fährt man ungefähr 5 Minuten mit dem Auto und die Parkplatzgebühr beträgt 5 €.
Alles im allem können wir die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und würden sie auch wieder buchen.

Great place to stay at in Wassenaar
We loved our stay at Annechien‘s pretty little cottage tremendously. Lovely hosts very helpfull and friendly. The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean and welcoming. Very conveniant for the shops and many restaurants only a few minutes away. Lovely area. Took our bikes with us and had many lovely bike tours . Looking forward to our next visit.

Schöner Aufenthalt mitten in Wassenaar
Wir waren in Allem mit dieser Unterkunft zufrieden. Die Vermieter waren unkompliziert und äußerst freundlich. Das kleine Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Der Schlafraum im Dachgeschoss war ausreichend groß. Das Bad war sehr komfortabel und gepflegt. Einzig die "Saloon"-Tür halboffen als Zugang ist für uns ein Manko gewesen. In der Nacht haben wir daher die Toilette im Erdgeschoss genutzt, da wir nicht zu denen gehören, die drm Partner etwas vorpullern. Aber das tut dem Gesamturteil "sehr empfehlenswert" keinen Abbruch. Gerne wieder.

Comme à la maison !
Appartement spacieux, lumineux et aménagé avec le souci du détail. Tout est là, du sèche cheveux en passant par les jeux et la machine à espresso. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, très disponible pour des conseils et soucieuse de notre confort. Le village est très agréable, avec tous commerces au coin de la rue. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

An extremely comfortable and clean apt with all you will need for a stay. The apt is located near to shops and all. The owner is very helpful and wants to insure there are no unanswered questions. We had the pleasure of a 4 day stay and will return if in the area.

Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.- Es handelt sich um eine großzügige und helle, freundliche FeWo , mit großzügiger Aufteilung. Wassenaar ist ein überschaubares Städtchen/ Dörfchen, mit schönen Geschäften und Restaurants. Mit dem Rad ist man schnell am Strand....Leiden ist in der Nähe.....und andere große interessante niederländische Städte.
Unterkunft kann ich uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen !

Wir haben die Jahreswende zu dritt in dem gemütlichen Hofhaus verbracht. Es war gemütlich und heimelig eingerichtet - alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Das Haus liegt super-zentral. Gleich um die Ecke ein Käseladen, Fischladen, Bäcker, Metzger, Supermarkt ……. außerdem viele Restaurants und Cafes in Fußnähe. Obwohl das Haus so zentral liegt, ist die Lage sehr ruhig in einem Hinterhof in einem kleinen Sträßchen. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist in Fußnähe - ein und auspacken ist direkt an der Haustür möglich. Zum Strand sind wir mit dem Auto gefahren - ungefähr 5 - 10 min. Parkplätze waren am Strand vorhanden. Ebenso gut lässt sich der Strand mit dem Fahrrad erreichen - es führt ein toller breiter Rad- und Fußweg direkt zum Strand. Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr schön ruhig - kein Touristenrummel. Außerdem schöne Reit-, Wander- und Radwege durch die Dünen. Wer es etwas belebter mag kann nach Katwijk oder Scheveningen fahren. Alles in Allem: es waren wunderschöne erholsame Tage - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Adorable cottage in downtown Wassenaar!
Great visit to my hometown of Wassenaar. Annechien was welcoming and helpful. I was able to park my bicycle right outside the house in the safety of the 'hofje' (interior courtyard). Walking distance to shops and restaurants, biking distance to the beach and the Valkenburgse Meer (local lake). Hit a heatwave while I was there. The downstairs stayed cool, but the upstairs was warm. I would recommend either a fan or even better, a small ac unit in the upstairs space. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
