About this house rental
The House of the Union derives its name from its warm and family character: it is ideal for meeting family or friends in the heart of the first station of the Hautes-Vosges and the landscapes of the Regional Natural Park Balloon Vosges .
Combining calm and proximity, this large house is located at the corner of one of the oldest neighborhoods of Gerardmer. Formerly farmhouse dating from 1930, it has been renovated and is continuously renovated to offer you all the authenticity and comfort you deserve.
SITUATION
Located 10 minutes walk from Lake Gerardmer and 5 minutes drive from the ski slopes of the Mauselaine, at the very entrance of the city center, the House of the Union is close to shops (supermarket Match less than 5 minutes on foot) and activities.
Ideally located at the entrance of the shopping and pedestrian street, all year, a craft market runs every Thursday and Saturday mornings on the streets giving access to the rental, which allows you to shop there! On the menu: artisanal honey from the Vosges and Alsatian forests, but also cheese - including the farmer's munster, candies from the Vosges, Alsatian wines ...
During the winter season, not far, the shuttle will allow you to join the tracks without using your vehicle, and on site, the Christmas market will amaze young and old ...
Welcome to our rental: we were waiting for you!
SOME TESTIMONIALS
Nicole (January 2017, via Airbnb): Claire is a particularly attentive owner to the needs of her guests! Warm welcome, welcome gift! The house is in keeping with the photos and very well placed for all activities and walks.
Nancy (March 2017, via Booking): "Relaxation Weekend". Very warm welcome from the owners, we had a welcome gift a bottle of white wine from the region. The location of the accommodation is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the city center, 10 minutes by car from the ski slopes (or 5 minutes from the shuttle to the station).
Silke (July 2017, via Airbnb): We went to Gérardmer with a group of three girls, to the Vogezen in enjoy the sun. Claire was very welcoming and the house was big enough for three people. The house is walking distance to the supermarkets, restaurants and bars and the lake, so it's ideally located. There's also a carport, which is very nice and a garden where you can BBQ. All with all, we really enjoyed our stay with Claire and would defenitely recommend it! Silke
Jeroen (May 2017, via Airbnb): Nice house with a view to the market and the church. Close to the city center of Gerardmer. It has a private parking space and a small terrace to sit outside. The hosts are very friendly and funny people.
Edith (August 2017, via Booking): The warmest welcome that has been reserved for us! The owners are very charming people, extremely friendly and available. The cottage is ideally located, close to the city center on foot and away from the "agitation" of the lake.
Serj (August 2018, via Booking): The friendliness and welcome of the owner, beautiful family home very well kept and especially very well placed to enjoy the region. Thank you, I will come back with a great pleasure.

Motorrijden in de vogezen is geweldig
Met 4 motorrijders in deze prima woning in de stad Gerardmer was erg leuk. Alles dichtbij zoals het meer en het centrum en de supermarkt. De communicatie met de eigenaren verliep erg goed.
