Myself, Daughter and her small family along with my ex-husband all stayed at the Sedona Vortex Vista. The kitchen was nice and spacious with anything that you would need for a family gathering.
The bedrooms were nice size and the deck was a great selling feature as it’s cooler in Sedona compared to Scottsdale this time of year.
There was a major water line replacement project happening on the street and that was a slight inconvenience with all the speed bumps and new pavement being laid in the driveway.
We managed and I know it was something that was necessary for the community, however a heads up on this construction project during our 1 week visit would have been nice to know ahead of time.
We definitely loved the location close to restaurants, shops and Flagstaff/ Prescott. They accommodated our 2 small 7 lb. dogs with water, food bowls and waste baggies. Nice touch.
I highly recommend this property.
6.0
Location was key & we enjoyed being so close to everything we wanted to experience. Listing states "deck with views" but any views were blocked by tall plants & electricity wires unfortunately.
8.0
Vortex Vista was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for our hiking vacation.
We appreciated having access to the garage and the prompt response to some minor maintenance issues that were identified during our stay.
Our overall positive experience was tarnished by an unexpected fee charged after check out by the property management company.
In retrospect, I wish I had video evidence of the property condition upon checkout.

Stayed in Sedona on last week of March. Cannot think better about the house, location and Sedona overall. The house is spacious and very well organised. Everything is thought out, and made for worry free vacation.

Overall, a great stay and the property is as advertised. It was just me for this trip, but there was plenty of room for larger groups. The kitchen is the star of the show, and is fully outfitted with all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. to have a great night in. The deck in the back is a close second. The fans and roof provide shade to make for a very relaxing retreat, even as the temps begin to climb. Would definitely recommend this property.
The only hesitations, and the reasons for a couple of the 4-star ratings instead of 5 are:
- the location is quiet and a very short drive to the touristy areas as well as the hikes. However, traffic can build up since there’s only one main road, and it can be a very slow crawl to get anywhere especially on the weekend
- the neighborhood is quiet but there are no street lights, so it would not be advisable to walk around at night
- the rental agreement is very restrictive and basically signs away all your rights in favor of the property owner. As there is a no cancellations policy in this rental, it is advisable to read it before you complete your reservation. It’s not in the initial listing, but as you go through the checkout process, a link comes up which is very easy to miss (I did). Now, nothing happened, but this is a company that owns/manages this property (as opposed to an individual), and their lawyers have made sure they bear literally 0 liability for anything if something does happens. Caveat emptor as they say.

The property is awesome! I was a little worried about being in a neighborhood with the houses close together, but when sitting on the deck ot felt pretty secluded. Overall everything was as expected and the property managers were great and had my delivery of flowers placed inside the house before we arrived! Would recommend this rental.

Great experience and we loved the house. Very good central location and high end finish out. Suggestions from our trip- Barlow jeep rental is a must and best keep Trail is Broken Arrow. Our favorite hikes are cathedral rock, soldier pass and doe mountain. Dahl and Deluca and Elote were both excellent for food. All of Lisa Dahls restaurants around the area are incredible.

Wonderful Location
We rented for four nights over a busy holiday weekend. The house location allowed us to go to dinner, grocery, hiking and shopping without dealing with too much traffic. Wonderful kitchen for cooking and hanging out. Lovely porch to protect from the heat. A great stay for us.

Clean/comfortable/all amenities provided
This property is clean and all amenities are provided. The kitchen is fantastic. If you enjoy cooking on vacation like I do, you will find everything that you need to make the largest meal for your family. The location is very convenient to Whole Foods grocery as well as the most popular destinations in Sedona. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking. It is very quiet at night for sleeping. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. All the luxuries of home are provided away from home. The decor of this house is fabulous.

Great family home.
This is a great property and location. The kitchen was amazing, the beds were very comfortable and everything was wonderful. Its a one level home, which we needed and it allowed dogs. They have everything stocked that you need and then some. It’s on a quiet street where there isn’t a lot of traffic. Everyone loved it. We were there for 3 nights but 4 would have been perfect.

Diamond in the Rocks
This was an amazing property for family and/or friends to gather. We love to cook and this kitchen was chef quality. The kitchen is open to the dining and living area and to the large covered deck. There are views of some of those beautiful red rock mountains from the deck. It is a quiet neighborhood and although the houses are close the outdoor areas feel very private. All appliances were top line and very quiet. Beds and seating were very comfortable. We had an issue with the tv not working and management was able to fix it the day we reported the problem. Loved Sedona and the surrounding area and would love to stay at this house again.

Nice experience for us with a couple of exceptions...one correctable and one the result of bad luck.
Very well appointed and recently remodeled home. Was very clean and spacious. First rate kitchen and nice great room for family gatherings. Good location in a quiet neighborhood and a very short drive to downtown Sedona and to numerous hiking trails.
Two negatives during our stay:
1. We found the master bed to be uncomfortable...very soft and lumpy...it felt simply worn out and in need of replacement, so we didn't get a great nights sleep during out four night stay. Furthermore, it looked like the sheets on the master bed had not been changed after the previous rental because there was debris and hair on the fitted sheet. Fortunately there is a nice washer and drier in the house so we were able to wash the sheets before we used them the first night. Also guests might consider bringing their own bed linens as the sheets provided were cheap polyester ones that we found uncomfortable and not up to the standard of the rest of the house.
2. The central heat in the house did not work during our stay. The overnight low temperatures were between 14 and 33 degrees Fahrenheit while we were there (and it snowed one day). The property management folks brought us three portable electric radiators, which kept the house warm enough not to be miserable, but not quite comfortable. Since we were there over Thanksgiving and during a snowstorm which resulted in road closures, the management company was not able to get an HVAC company to come fix the heater problem during our stay. I understand how this happened, but I was a bit surprised that they did not offer us financial compensation (we didn't ask for it, but I think I would have offered it simply out of good will if I was the owner or manager).

Sedona and house amazing!
Loved the house, it was extremely well appointed with just about everything we needed! Kitchen was wonderful and well stocked. Enjoyed the deck. Location was very convenient to everything we did. 2 minor suggestions for the house...kitchen towels and a couple of additional throw blankets to snuggle at night while hanging out!
Our only issue was with the lock box, which is why I only gave check in process 3 stars. Maintenance had to come help out, as the code was not properly set and we couldn’t get key out to get into the house. Had a similar problem with the lock box when leaving. As far as cleanliness of the home, overall was very good, but there were cobwebs in some of the corners in the master bedroom.
Otherwise we absolutely loved the house and layout, lots of very nice upgrades throughout. Would definitely stay again! Sedona is one of my very favorite places to visit!!!
Management was very responsive with anything we needed.

Hidden Gem
We had a wonderful time in this little hidden gem. That is central to pretty much all of Sedona. A well-maintained property with plenty of thoughtful items placed throughout the property.
The TV in the main room didn't work well. However none of us missed it.
The patio in the back was wonderful. We watched hummingbirds while sipping coffee in the morning. Thanks for the Keurig pods as well.
Will definitely be a return customer.
Thank you for sharing this house with our family.
