An Upscale, West Indies decor vacation paradise: 'TOES IN THE~~WATER~~.' This sunny and light-filled corner unit features three spacious bedrooms with THREE KING beds and three private baths, no tiny bunk rooms. The expansive windows face both the Gulf of Mexico and western exposure to showcase gorgeous sunsets and miles and miles of beachfront views.
This unit is on the *16TH* floor in the WEST tower (TOWER 2) which is BEACH FRONT - DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH (not across Front Beach Road) and is on the WEST OUTSIDE CORNER (looking at open beach and no other buildings). THE BEST LOCATION AT CALYPSO! We love this unit because of the fabulous panoramic unobstructed beach and ocean views with magnificent sunsets! - directly on the Gulf, miles of beaches, sunsets, the new pier, Pier Park, and even the Frank Brown ball fields. There is no pool, or street noise.... Very quiet! Best of all -- you don't have to deal with those pesky flying insects!
Quality appointments throughout including granite countertops in the kitchen, wet bar, and all bathrooms. There's a separate laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. Recent upgrades for this season include new paint throughout, Stainless Steel Appliances in the kitchen, new area rugs, BRAND NEW ELECTRONICS: 55" 4K TV'with HDMI in Living Room w/ Netflix, YouTube, 43" 1080P Vizio smart tv in Master, 32" Vizio Smart TV with HDMI in the front bedroom and FREE WI-FI in all rooms. I can certainly tell that the condo was perfect for my family; the location can’t be beat; the wrap around balcony was excellent for viewing the ocean; easy access to the pools and beach. But, for me, the quick and easy response from Rachel, the owner, was the best! The only time I had an issue and had to text her was when I couldn’t figure out how to use the dishwasher!! Within an hour, she had her maintenance man there to make sure it was just me and not the dishwasher!! I would highly recommend this condo!

Everything was awesome plenty of too for our family. Loved the View from 16th floor. Weather was sunshine everyday, but extremely hot.plenty of dishes and cooking pots etc. loved having each bedroom with it’t own bathroom. The only negative we experienced was the sofa has broken springs on 1 side, I think it needs replacing. We will be back for sure. Rachel was very helpful in so many ways, so Thank you.

We just left our week stay at the calypso and to say we are sad to leave is an understatement. The convenience to the beach was amazing seeing we had our 3 year old daughter with us. It made it so easy for us to carry everything to the beach without having to use a wagon. The chair rentals were a blessing, we drove while the rest of our party flew and we had no extra room for chairs. We did pay the extra to upgrade for the week to have the water front chairs and umbrella but for the week it wasn’t unreasonable and the chair rental guys were amazing. Jordan and his guys made sure to check with us every day on if our chairs were okay and even one day when people set up in front of us asked if we wanted them to move us. The condo was perfect for us. There were some things that my family and I suggested to Rachel but none of them took away from the experience we were able to have. The view from the balcony was breath taking and my friend and I enjoyed sitting out there during the day and night with a cold drink and our books. Needless to say this is a must book location and we are already talking about next year. Thank you to Rachel for everything.

Views were just amazing. The only recommendations I have for the owner are to get a new master shower head (could be switched out for like 60$ with a new shower head) as the one in there now is old and doesn’t have much water pressure. A new shower head would fix it!
There’s not much to complain about when you see the view the place has. I would just reccomend providing a kureg which is also like 30$ on Amazon. Also, the beach people started putting away the chairs at 2 pm, so don’t leave your chair. Great stay overall and we will definitely be back next year!

We vacation often in this area. This is my second time staying at Calypso and both experiences were great. My favorite. The view is beautiful, the area is calmer than most, the beach is clean, the pools are great. Would recommend and stay again.

You couldn’t ask for a better condo and view. Very spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and didn’t want to leave. My 5 year old asked if we could stay until summer! Within walking distance to the pier, pier park and many restaurants. We cannot wait to come back and stay in this condo again. Thank you so much Rachel!

Beautiful condo and the views are unbelievable! Made Christmas dinner and there was plenty of pots and pans. It was amazing waking up to the ocean views, so peaceful.The owner was so accommodating and easy to follow instructions. I will definitely stay again!

The weather wasn’t always nice, but there was plenty to do within walking distance (so close to Pier Park and oyster bars). Had one great day for balcony sitting (and watching our son propose on the beach). Would definitely return with better weather.

The view from this corner condo was excellent. All 3 Bedrooms had direct access to it's on bathroom. the balcony was well equipped with nice outdoor chairs. The owner replied immediately to any questions. Will definitely recommend this unit to anyone. Look forward to another stay next year.

This was our 5th time renting at Calypso but first time in this condo. It was lovely, immaculate, perfectly located and the owner was a joy to work with.

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful condo and would stay again. It was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The view of the beach and gulf made a beautiful back view, but my favorite is the windows on the side showing Pier Park and the western area of the beach. My con is the walk from the parking garage is a bit long, but you can't have the end condo with the best view without walking a little further. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed for IRONMAN Florida. This is an ideal location, right by the start/finish, can see the swim from the balcony and the run course is right out front. Besides that the unit is exactly as pictured/described, it is a very nice place. Clean and comfy. 3 br’s and each had their bathroom, perfect. The kitchen was well stocked the balcony and view are top notch, it’s a great spot to watch the sunset. My only “complaint” was the couch was a little worn, not horrible but could use an update soon. I messaged with Rebecca and she’s going to look into it, I might just be a couch snob. Lol. Rebecca was spot on with comms, I even had some issue finding the check in info email she sent, I messaged her and within minutes I had a new copy. I would mostly surely rent from her again. And if I ever make it back to PCB I would 100% stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here, the view was amazing, it was close to restaurants and shops, and the beach was wonderful! Beds were comfortable, the unit was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Very spacious so it didn’t we were on top of each other and could retire to our own space when we needed it. The balcony was wonderful, we had cocktails and snacks in the afternoon. The sand toys and boogie boards were nice to have since we were there at the end of the season and a lot of the beach rental stuff was being put away. The property is very nice. The host was friendly and very responsive. We had everything we needed before we got there and if we had any questions we would get fast responses from the owner. We will stay here again the next time we go to Panama City Beach!

First of all, let me tell you that Rachel was amazing at responding to questions ... and she did it fast which is helpful when trying to coordinate a family vacation. Thank you so much, Rachel! The unit was clean and exactly as pictured in the photo lineup. No issues with anything and will definitely book this wonderful condo again! I had my disabled 82 year-old mother with us and the second king bedroom with on-suite bathroom was perfect; it had a walk-in shower and that was a major plus. Also, the parking deck that connects to the main resort area had multiple carts to carry luggage to the room. Everything was great and we really had a lovely time. If you're looking for a safe, clean and wonderful place to vacation in Panama City Beach, consider this option - you won't be disappointed!

This is a difficult review to write because I do not want to take away from the condo or the service the owner provided.
We have stayed at the Calypso in PCB every summer for about the last 10 years. Our family has rented many condos at the Calypso & have always loved it. This condo was terrific. It was nicely decorated, maintained, & has amazing views. There were minor issues regarding the condo that I contacted the owner about. My questions were answered promptly & politely. I would absolutely rent from the owner again.
What was disappointing & why we won't be returning was the beach experience. We went to check in as we have done every time in the past to reserve our chairs. The gentleman who was in charge harassed me about whether or not I was actually going to use the chairs I was reserving everyday. The beach service is frustrated that people reserve front row chairs, but don't use them. Understandable, but my vacation itinerary is none of their business.
What they should have been focused on was the number of tents in front of us. I am not talking about a few. They were packed in & 3 rows deep of tents. Some were put out in the morning & never used. People hang their towels & clothes on them to dry. It blocks the view and the ocean breeze. Some of these are canopies and others were tents with 3 & 4 sides.
In the past, the tents & canopies had to be placed behind the beach chairs. The issue is that a certain amount of feet from the shoreline is a public area. Well, it looks trashy & takes away from the beauty of the beach/ocean if you can see any of it. The Calypso is a resort, so we expect a resort like atmosphere. That was not what we got this year.
Not only are the tents an eyesore, but the arguing between the residents of tent city was so bad that the beach service posted signs at the entrance that the "tent wars" needed to stop. We would watch from our balcony people went out at 6 am or earlier to stake their claim. Some people never returned. The public beach to the west looked nicer.
Honestly, it just took away from a relaxing vacation that we had looked forward to for months. Our significant financial investment for this trip was in the beach. Everyday and yes we were in our beach chairs everyday this is what we watched. And everyday the beach service attendant came by was sure to mention how many people weren't in the front row chairs. Why would they be? Their view was tent after tent.
