Dog house

The location. The beach. The gym.

The room was sparse, the chairs were uncomfortable and we were sat bolt upright. No sofa. The TV was crackly and kept cutting out. The bed was spongey and uncomfortable. In summary the room was not a place we wanted to stay in.

Clan and comfortable but could update kitchen appliances

Spotless, really clean and house keeping knocked on our 2nd day to see if needed anything, very close to the beach

No cooker just a camping stove that didn’t work when we came to make breakfast next morning, toaster quickly burnt waffle and fire alarm didn’t go off…first time shower was used temperature fluctuated and got hot quickly, smaller space than photos seem, however small things that didn’t spoil our stay

Good value accomodation . Clean and slaciou.

Billed as a two bed appartment, but it's one separate bedroom and a double bed in the lounge . More "studio flat +1."

Beaches hotel chalets Pontins reworks

Location next to the beach and facilities in the hotel were great, pool nice. Location to walk onto town also good. The restaurant food was also excellent. For what we needed, which was a short family break and to be able to bring the dogs was excellent.

Chalets are very small, smaller than a family room in the hotel, which is not expected. They are basically Pontins chalets bought from next door, decorated to a higher standard, but not comfortable at all. We had a family of 4 (kids 6 and 9) and 2 dogs. Also clean enough but no washing up towel or washing liquid available for the kitchenette and found chocolate down the back of the chair and a child's face mask under the bed. For the price, expectations were a lot higher.

Swimming pool out of use. Asked for ground floor with cot cos of small children. Was out upstairs and no cot. Rooms are stupidly small and nothing like the pictures. No cooker self-catering just a microwave. Couldn't swing a cat in there. Shower tiny and not good for adults. When I complained on arrival they wouldn't give me any discount but said I can cancel free of charge......what good is that when we are there. Would never stay here again. There was a screws sticking out of the floor with my small kids running round. Absolute joke.

Prestatyn nice beach but nothing else

The chalet was comfortable but needed an oven and clothes horse, plus more hangers. The beach was lovely

We chose this chalet because there was use of a swimming pool, unfortunately this was not the case, it had a big impact on our holiday and cost of other entertainment for my 15 year old grandson. Not a lot to do in Prestatyn the amusements are very old and very limited, definitely needs a lot of investment

Location is great. Staff were nice. Beds were comfy. Pretty clean.

You can hear *everything* Some of the work was shoddy Food at the hotel restaurant is overpriced No privacy unless all the blinds are completely closed, and then you need the lights on. Only 1 incredibly bright light in the children's room 😬

clean and close to the beach

asked for a ground floor due to medical reasons (cancer and heart condition due to treatments) plus having a dog but non where available, so we had to leave early as couldn't manage the stairs all the time and RSH called I needed to go back into hospital for an ASAP heart scan, they couldn't offer us a refund for the night we wouldn't be staying

Lovely to stay so close to the beach

The location was a perfect trip to the beach. The food at the hotel was delicious. Loved the freedom of staying at the chalet. The staff were helpful and polite.

The chalets need a make over on the outside they look tatty. Considering the work that needs doing on the outside the price of the accommodation should be lower.

great place but one issue made it less enjoyable.

excellent position near the sea back window very large facing Pontins chalet windows, literally yards away, the roller blind not working and despite repeated requests were action was promised it was not until the last evening that housekeeping called and rectified the issue. due to privacy we slept the first 2 nights on the bed clothed.

Response to our complaint instead of committing to ownership then nothing.

Nice place, very quiet and right next to the beach.

Location was great, right next to the beach. The facilities were very good, with a very nice swimming pool. The restaurant staff was great and received us despite being extremely busy and we had no reservation.

The room cleanliness was not what we expected, there was some flaked paint on one of the bed covers. There was a wedding during one of the days of our stay, which was did not have a designated function and somehow affected the hotel / restaurant guests.
