About this house rental
Beautifully landscaped fully furnished home, with 4 bedrooms, 2 indoor bathrooms, 2 living areas, 4 balconies, and a cargo lift. We are located in the middle of Bolivar Peninsula, beach side, in an area referred to as “shark’s tooth alley”. We are not in the busiest/craziest part of the beach but more in the family oriented part.
Fabulous views of both the sunrise and sunset from 1st floor deck, two 2nd floor balconies, and 3rd floor widow's walk. Fully loaded kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, and coffee pot. Central air, 3 TVs, washer/dryer and optic internet.
Special Features--extra parking, ground level hang-out with a hot tub, 3 picnic tables and outdoor bath beneath house, both propane & charcoal BBQ pits and an outdoor heater.
Easy access to the beach 100 yards away. Has all the amenities of home. The house is ready for you upon arrival with beds made. Come in and stay awhile!

Very Relaxing
This home, its location, and proximity to the beach made our vacation very relaxing and lovely. It is clear that the homeowner takes great pride in her home and it had every amenity we could possibly need. Simple things like access to the garage to place our beach stuff each night locked up or use of the fridge/freezer in said garage to make keeping the ice for the cooler easy are just examples of how well thought out this rental property is. We had the opportunity to speak with Cheryl and she was very accommodating to our questions. The house is large enough that our family (dad, mom, son, daughter, and 2 grandmothers, along with our golden retriever) all had enough space so it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Overall great property and great experience.

Absolutely perfect!
I can't say enough positive things about this property! It was perfect for our 3 families to have a family getaway. The multiple balconies, two living rooms, and short walk to the beach were just what we were looking for. The view of the beach from the balconies completely took our breath away and was such a great surprise! The cargo lift allowed us to accommodate our son who uses a wheelchair, and the fully fenced porch was perfect for our dogs to get some fresh air throughout the day. The kitchen was well stocked with the odds and ends we forgot to bring along. Everything was very clean. Communication with the owners was quick, thorough, and so helpful! We were completely satisfied with this location!

Great Views
Several decks on different floors with great views. The lift was the main reason we rented this house - traveled with mom and aunt who needed the assistance. Had everything we needed to cook, relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. Central location, beach was busy but if you want out of the crowd, just drive a little further down. Cheryl was a great host. Checked in with us and was responsive.

Feels like home
The beach house pictures does not give it justice. It is beautiful and very cozy! Plenty of space for 8 adults to sleep comfortably in. Practically on the water short distance walk. Hotub to enjoy! And everything you need is there except beach towels. This will def be my go to place for beach weekends!!!

We loved the location of the home, it was easy to get to the property. Met owner and loved visiting with her as well. The firework display for NYE was amazing. There was plenty of room for our family and enjoyed cooking all week.

Perfect Location and Excellent Host
Our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 teens aged 13-17) had such a great time here. The kids all loved the Jacuzzi! The walk to the beach was so quick! My father-in-law who has difficulty getting around really appreciated the lift and being able to drive on the beach. Mrs. Cheryl is an excellent host! We had everything we needed! She told me to pack light and she was right. She was so quick to respond to my questions and such a sweet person to talk to. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
Several of us met at this beautiful home for a graduation party/ family reunion. It was perfect!!! The beach views are amazing and there were so many extra things that the property owner has thought of to help make your stay so much more comfortable: extra spices and dry goods, toothbrushes or razors that may have been forgotten, fresh flowers, beach toys, and much more too numerous to list!!! There were going to be 13 of us but only 9 could make it, however we had plenty of room. Both the couch upstairs and downstairs fold out into beds. The storm we experienced on our last morning there, was incredible and beautiful to watch from the living room on the second floor! The home is a very short walk to the beach, which is nice when you need to run back to the house from the beach. The outdoor shower and bathroom are GREAT additions!!! And thank goodness for the lift!! We can't wait to come back and are already making plans for next summer!

Great house close to the beach!
This is a great house for friends or family wanting to be close to the beach! This was actually our 2nd stay here but the first during the summer. Cheryl is a great host, answered all our questions quickly & really took care of us to make sure we had a great stay. The decks looks right out on to the beach so we could see our spot & go back & forth easily. The kitchen has everything you could need to grill, cook, etc. There are a lot of mosquitoes as it gets dark but the breeze on the upper decks keep them away but bring bug spray! Definitely recommend this house!

Cozy and Comfortable
The property listing was spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway at Absolutely Amazing, as well as dealing with Cheryl, who helped coordinate our stay. The house was clean and decorated so cutely. The hot tub worked great, the AC cooled well, the new stove was a dream, the beach was a very short walk away - what else does a Texas beach getaway need?! Loved it and we will return soon!

The house has a nice layout and is located steps from the beach. The kitchen is well stocked though the location of some items seems a bit disorganized it was very nice to have a pantry and large fridge as well as a fridge located in the garage. Things we loved -There was plenty of space for our group of 14 to be comfortable and the downstairs hot tub was amazing as well as the access to the water. The multiple decks and balconies and the way there were so many different access points for everyone to enjoySome things that were not so great, the beds are the most loud and noisy I've ever experienced. Prepare to not sleep well as any time you or anyone else moves its going to wake everyone up. There were no washcloths which was very strange. And dont plan to use bedroom closets or dressers as the owners have stuff in those areas which was a bit different from anything I've experienced elsewhere. Honestly it was strange as the area we wound up keeping our suitcase open on was filled with what appeared to be financial items. (I would recommend moving those as some people are less than trustworthy). As well as fireworks in the upstairs dressers. The downstairs shower was broken when we arrived on Saturday and it was Wednesday before it was fixed, which probably wouldn't have been an issue but it was the one day the weather was bad and we were stuck inside listening to hammering for hours, water being turned on and off, and we felt strange using the hot tub because it was right next to where the work was happening. I understood it had to be done and there probably wasn't a choice on when, it was just frustrating. Over all i'd give this place a 7 out of 10. Id probably probably rate it a 9 if not for the beds. Those alone would make me not use this house again unfortunately, even though the house and location and price are ideal. If you dont plan to sleep much this place would probably be fine for you. The owner is a sweet lady who seemed very helpful.

Special Christmas Family Retreat
We booked this house for the week before Christmas for my mom, my family of 4, and my sisters family of 4. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is it! Cheryl decorated this house with beautiful Christmas beach decorations. She even left ornaments for the kids help decorate a little palm tree. This house is a special property, and the owner is a special lady. We loved the location, hot tub, decor, stocked like a real home, owner communication, layout is perfect for families, 2 living rooms, just can’t say enough. Thank you Cheryl for making this Christmas so special for our family!

Absolutely Amazing
We created Thanksgiving memories with our children and grandchildren during the week. There were lots of shells, playing in the sand, waves, hot tub, fishing, hot tub time and lots of food.

The pictures do not do this house justice! Every thing you need and then some! It was my daughter and I birthday so we did have some people up during the day. This house is warm and cozy. It allows for many people to gather or cozy groups. The extra frig in the garage is a life saver! Cheryl is very personable and great to work with. You cant get much closer to the beach than this! On the 1st floor I woke up and could see through the living room the waves splashing. What a peaceful awakening. I will for sure rent this beautiful house again!! Debra-Houston, TX

We had an amazing time at Cheryl's place. She was very easy to communicate with and replied promptly. The house is fantastic with everything you could need. There was plenty of space inside for everyone, but the outside spaces were awesome. There was a ton of deck space and we loved the hot tub!!
