SUNSET@CORLETTE is a small, modern absolute waterfront accommodation overlooking Port Stephens. Located right on the water along the most popular stretch of waterfront in the Bay known as the "Golden Mile" by locals - enjoy your own piece of paradise. This is a modern and fresh appealing ground floor apartment. Its finishes and furnishing are of a high standard and would appeal to the particular traveller. It is centrally located in the Port Stephens for all tourist attractions and just 3 minutes drive in each direction are the main shopping haunts - Salamander Shopping Centre and Nelson Bay Town Center - awash with restaurants and cafes.
WHAT TYPES OF GUESTS STAY AT SUNSET@CORLETTE?
SUNSET@CORLETTE attracts both FAMILIES of up to 5 and COUPLES, who want to feel connected with the outdoors both for relaxing and water activity. The property's boundary is 8 metres from the water's edge. Between the water and the alfresco is a flat, green lawn reserve which makes an ideal area for children to play. Spotting our local Dolphin families at high tide from the property is a daily occurrence. For all-day beach play and safe swimming, Corlette Beach is 50 meters away from the back door. A children's park/playground is located 100 metres from the property along the foreshore. Complimentary family KAYAKS (4) are available for guest use.
Previous guests have fed back, they love how central the property is to family tourist attractions and activities at the Port.
Due to the close proximity to the waterfront CHILDREN NEED ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES

SUNSET@CORLETTE is ideal for COUPLES - wanting a romantic getaway, providing modern and very private accommodation. The luxury 'Lucca Day Spa' is located on a 5-minute beach-side walk away at ‘The Anchorage’ Marina and Restaurant. Take a walk by the water and beachside into Nelson Bay Marina, a wonderful romantic 30 min walk brimming with natural sights, giving you some of the best views of the Port along the way. Or for the active couple, cycle from the property's door along "Bartlett Cycle-way" into Nelson Bay - see Google Maps.
ACCESSIBILITY -the property also attracts guests who want to be on the ground floor, without stairs with easy access. Two steps up into the front door. Back entrance- level with the ground. The Master en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the internal floor plan would not be wheelchair friendly.
WHAT IS THE BED CONFIGURATION? (Full Linen Supplied - bathroom toweling, sheets, etc)
Master Bedroom - is small with a Queen bed, topper for extra comfort and its own EN-SUITE BATHROOM and air-conditioning.
Second Bedroom - has a double bed (which only one side of the bed can be accessed - see pics). The double bed has a single bunk bed over the top of it (The Bunk bed size and access is only suitable for children).
Baby Port-a-cot + baby high-chair
SECOND BATHROOM - Located conveniently opposite the second bedroom with bath and shower. It also has a washing machine and dryer concealed in cabinetry.
WHAT ARE THE LIVING AREAS?
SUNSET@CORLETTES cosy Lounge and Dining area has internal views of the water from any aspect as the property is only meters from the waters edge of stunning Port Stephens. Watch boats come and go from the comfort of the corner modular lounge or watch the flat-screen TV. The modern kitchen is well equipped- oven, microwave, coffee machine (Nescafe or like, compatible pods) and welcome supplies of tea and coffee. (This is NOT a serviced apartment therefore exhausted supplies beyond a 2-night stay are not replenished)
Additionally, there is a separate TV Room (2nd TV) with a lounge, DVD player/DVD library for cosy family viewing or ideal for creating some kid-only space.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Step out of the lounge/dining area onto the large OUTDOOR ALFRESCO AREA for 180-degree uninterrupted water views. A beautifully manicured mowed lawn exists (nature reserve) between the property's back alfresco area and the waterfront. The outdoor area has a Northerly aspect. During summer, a large gum tree sheds shade over the dining area in time for lunch. During the winter months, with the sun low, the alfresco area receives all-day sun which flows right through into the internal lounge/dining area making this property inviting for all seasons.

We loved our stay here . We only have one thing we find was not good and that is the parking spot in the left unit only a small car can get in it “ safely “. Only because there is a weird shaped brick wall in the way not sure why it’s there but it limits peoples access to property especially when there isn’t ample parking on street and it’s a busy road . The accomodation was just right and so clean and tidy can’t recommend enough for a small family or a couple . Thank you for letting us stay .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this waterfront property. The accommodation itself was very clean, comfortable and modern. We enjoyed spending the late afternoons on the back patio overlooking the water. It was a short drive or stroll into town. So much to do and breathtaking views!

This is the second time we've stayed at Sunset @ Corlette with my family and it is the perfect location and property for our needs.
There was a miscommunication in regards to the kayak info in the check in email, but the host very kindly offered us a goodwill gesture to make up for the confusion. We were very grateful for the excellent service, and will definitely stay again!

this property was in a great location upon arrival the property was clean and tidy, i would like to recommend a pergola or awning for the outside area as when it rains you have nowhere outside and water comes all the way to the back door other then this, the place i would recommend and stay again the family was very satisfied

A fantastic modern unit right on the water. We loved the location and the apartment was the perfect getaway. The owner quickly helped us with any issues we had and the unit was spotless. Would definitely stay again if we can afford it!

Such a lovely location, house is well presented. The kayaks were a great addition, the water was so warm and flat. We had dolphins that came into the bay morning and at sunset.
The only downside was the parking and privacy at times. The units car spot is very difficult to get into and especially when there were 2 cars in the visitor bays.
With local kids and kids from upstairs playing out the front of our unit it took away from the tranquil surrounds and peaking in the lounge room whilst we were sitting there.
The oven and stove isn't very user friendly.
Great host very helpful and beautiful presented home.

“Sunset” at Corlette has everything you need for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. The view is beautiful and the beachside walks are lovely. Many stunning beaches are nearby as well as Tomaree National Park. There is so much to do - we hope to return!

Wow, wow, wow!
This is the third time we have been the Corlette in as many places. So far this is up the top. You can simply not beat this anywhere. Beach front, close to Nelson Bay, around the corner from Toboggan Hill Park, Dolphins, sunsets…aaaarrrhhh so much awesomeness!
We had sun, rain, cold and hot weather, it didn’t matter if we were outside on the beach, out and about or inside playing games, the place just worked it’s magic.

Very well appointed, many more things provided than any holiday rental I'd stayed at before. Perfect location for families, kids loved the calm and quiet beach right out the front.

Add to that the views and the quiet location,which made our distancing of others, easy (beats being in Nelson Bay which is highly populated at Christmas).
As taxis are limited , we learnt how to use buses again, as our mode of travel for dining out each night.Bus stop at the front door was convenient.Our uber account never got used. Our host was always quick with communicating and offered an early checkin, which we were unable to take up but was a nice gesture.We stayed as a couple but the unit can accomodate 5. With 2 bathrooms and 2 separate tv/lounge areas, it catered for everyone being comfortable.Plenty of shady picturesque walks, either over the hill behind the resort or walking back into Dutchies Beach on the grassy track,infront of the neighbouring houses
