Located in Florida's Southwest coast between Sarasota and Fort Myers, this property is an elegantly furnished executive home situated in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is conveniently located close to all the amenities you could ever want and just minutes away from I-75. There are plenty of activities for families, including children's playgrounds, parks, stores, restaurants, golf courses, and beaches, including the world-famous Siesta Key Beach. All of these recreational sites and more are within a short driving distance. So, bring your family and friends and enjoy a wonderful stay at this lovely home.
As you step into this spacious and bright home, the large designer tiled foyer greets you with its aesthetic appeal. This single-story ranch-style home, with an open concept design, boasts magnificent level 4 palomino granite throughout. The dream kitchen, with its stainless steel appliances and beautiful exotic granite counter top, overlooks the family room and opens onto the pool deck. The family room invites you to relax on an amazingly comfortable leather recliner or stretch out on the queen leather pullout sofa while you watch the 75-inch TV. The formal dining room and spacious living room await you for a gourmet meal and an after-dinner chat with family and friends. When the day is over and the warm Florida breeze calls you to rest, you can enjoy one of the three bedrooms. The large primary bedroom features a luxurious king-sized Tempurpedic mattress, which you can enjoy as you look out of the double doors to the pool deck. The ensuite bathroom provides a Victorian ambiance with its extra-long claw foot tub. The second bedroom has a king-sized memory foam mattress and its own entrance to the pool deck. The third bedroom has twin beds and two large closets.
Step outside and discover why Florida and this private, fenced-in backyard are perfect for outdoor entertaining. The trellis-covered patio and lanai feature a barbecue and hot tub, while the sparkling heated saltwater pool is equipped with underwater lighting, and a sensational soothing waterfall.The pool cage allows you to enjoy stargazing on a beautiful, clear night while keeping insects at bay. Adjacent to the pool area, you'll find a lounging area, outdoor fire pit, and an amazing children's playground that is protected from the sun by Coolibar sun shades.
The property is adorned with beautiful flowers and shrubs, and is maintained by Truly Nolen both indoors and outdoors to keep pesky insects such as fire ants at bay. Additionally, the Halo whole house water purification system ensures that the water you use for bathing is just as pure as the water you drink from the kitchen tap. All systems, including the air conditioning and pool, are regularly serviced to ensure their smooth functioning.
Things to note:
You may notice an “additional guests” fee when you book this property. That is due to the fact that the entire house costs $350/night to rent at full capacity (8 guests). Because 2-guest bookings are common, the base nightly rate has been set at $200 on average, with each additional guest being charged at $35/night so that the 2-people bookings wouldn’t be penalized with a higher base nightly rate. If you add guests after booking the property, please contact the host so that payment arrangements can be made.
Pool and hot tub:
The pool is 30,000 gallons and it takes at least 3 days of 8 hours per day pump time with the heater on to heat up (depending on ambient temperature). Please let me know how many days of 8 hour run time you would like to pay for prior to your arrival. You will be charged $15/day during your stay if you choose to have the pool heated because the heater run time cannot be changed once you have arrived. The hot tub costs $15/day. The hot tub is emptied between guests when there is space between bookings so as to keep the water as clean as possible. Use of the hot tub is not included in the nightly rate and its use must be requested and paid for at the time of booking in order to ensure that it is filled and heated by check in time. If yours is a last minute booking (within 48 hours), the hot tub may not be hot by the time of check in.

My husband and i came from VA to spend time near our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Port Charlotte.
This home was great for our family gatherings. We spent a lot of time in the headed pool. The smaller children enjoyed the swings. The neighborhood was real peaceful and convenient to anything we needed. Our host was very responsive to our requests. We would definitely like to come back here.

My family and I had the pleasure staying in Carla’s beautiful home. I actually did a Mother’s Day photo shoot with my children while we stayed. I had to, I mean you see the pictures it really is a lovely place. It’s spacious, clean & has a fabulous outdoor area with a variety of things to keep kids entertained. Baby essentials such as a tub, walker, travel crib, high chair, & toys were a blessing to have available for my 8 month old.
My favorite place to relax was the hanging cage on the back patio, cozy area to meditate or just be. The neighborhood is friendly but quiet & conveniently near town markets & restaurants.
Carla was incredibly friendly & accommodating! I would definitely recommend having your own slice of paradise experience right here.
I’d return hands down.

This is a beautiful property with a great owner! You can tell she truly cares about the home and loves to host. We were visiting for business so we did not explore the area very much, but she offered to help us find the best places around. The shaded playground was perfect for a little one to get outside!

Looks really great and same as pictures. Problem is….
Are stay was ok, problem was there is no extra lock at the door so anyone can come in if you are not notified from the host. Pool had a lot of small bugs even though they told us it was cleaned and heated with a fee. Woke up the next morning and had to remove 4 baby snakes so before we can use it again. Hot tube was nice if it actually reached the temperature you set it too. Seemed like it stayed a certain temperature even though you try to set it higher. It was really nice but alot of not working stuff for night and instead of relaxing for a day had to do some work. Refrigerator was broken also but they had and extra one you just need to go into the garage to pug it in and use it

Unique Florida Property
What a wonderful and unique Florida property! My wife and I loved the Victorian and equestrian decor … not something you’ll see very often in a Florida rental. The home is spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances. The pool is large … my grandkids just loved it. And Carla is one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered., extremely responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!.

What a wonderful place
My wife and I spent the entire month of February in this home. It was perfect for us. Our grown children came to visit during our time there. Our youngest grandchild - 7yrs old spent hours in the pool and enjoyed the playground. We never had more than 4 adults, including us, at a time in the home and space was great.
We have stayed at a number of VRBO premier homes and this one did not disappoint. Of all of the homes and neighborhoods that we have stayed in this was the quietest. As with any home there were a couple of requests that I made to Carla, and she is amazing, almost immediate replies from her, and all requests fulfilled.
The first week we were there it was cool, so I did pay to heat the pool. This is to be expected from any VRBO so it was no big deal and was worth it.
The comments that I look for in a review of a property is - would the reviewer stay there again- and in our case yes, we would.

Beautiful house
The house is beautiful and just as described. Kitchen was great and had all the essentials. Pool was definitely cold even with the heater but that's expected this time of year. Good location inconvenient to grocery stores and restaurants and of course the beach. Would definitely stay here again and maybe next time bring the kids. Carla was easy to get ahold of and very responsive.

Gorgeous home
This home is the perfect home away from home. It is beautiful. My 7 year old loved the playset and pool in the fenced in backyard. The host is amazing and answered all of our questions quickly. My daughter even had questions about her horse pictures and she took the time to respond to her in detail.

Perfect stay at a great property
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is exactly as described and pictured. It’s a great house, very roomy with plenty of space for everyone. The master suite and bath are amazing!! The pool and hot tub were so nice to have, and the outdoor seating space was perfect for quiet breakfasts and evening cocktails. We definitely hope to return!! Thanks so much!

I paid additional fees for the pool and hot tub heater for 6 days. The pool was still cold upon arrival and for the first 3 days. After contacting the owner, she said I could pay an additional fee for the heater to run from 8am-8pm. It was only set to run between 9am-5pm. On the 4th day of 6, the pool was finally at a desired temp. Also, I'm unsure why there is a fee to warm a "hot tub"? Kitchen ware is very minimal. I planned to cook a big meal for Easter but there were not enough pots and pans to accommodate my needs.
