Located in Florida's Southwest coast between Sarasota and Fort Myers, this property is an elegantly furnished executive home situated in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is conveniently located close to all the amenities you could ever want and just minutes away from I-75. There are plenty of activities for families, including children's playgrounds, parks, stores, restaurants, golf courses, and beaches, including the world-famous Siesta Key Beach. All of these recreational sites and more are within a short driving distance. So, bring your family and friends and enjoy a wonderful stay at this lovely home.
As you step into this spacious and bright home, the large designer tiled foyer greets you with its aesthetic appeal. This single-story ranch-style home, with an open concept design, boasts magnificent level 4 palomino granite throughout. The dream kitchen, with its stainless steel appliances and beautiful exotic granite counter top, overlooks the family room and opens onto the pool deck. The family room invites you to relax on an amazingly comfortable leather recliner or stretch out on the queen leather pullout sofa while you watch the 75-inch TV. The formal dining room and spacious living room await you for a gourmet meal and an after-dinner chat with family and friends. When the day is over and the warm Florida breeze calls you to rest, you can enjoy one of the three bedrooms. The large primary bedroom features a luxurious king-sized Tempurpedic mattress, which you can enjoy as you look out of the double doors to the pool deck. The ensuite bathroom provides a Victorian ambiance with its extra-long claw foot tub. The second bedroom has a king-sized memory foam mattress and its own entrance to the pool deck. The third bedroom has twin beds and two large closets.
Step outside and discover why Florida and this private, fenced-in backyard are perfect for outdoor entertaining. The trellis-covered patio and lanai feature a barbecue and hot tub, while the sparkling heated saltwater pool is equipped with underwater lighting, and a sensational soothing waterfall.The pool cage allows you to enjoy stargazing on a beautiful, clear night while keeping insects at bay. Adjacent to the pool area, you'll find a lounging area, outdoor fire pit, and an amazing children's playground that is protected from the sun by Coolibar sun shades.
The property is adorned with beautiful flowers and shrubs, and is maintained by Truly Nolen both indoors and outdoors to keep pesky insects such as fire ants at bay. Additionally, the Halo whole house water purification system ensures that the water you use for bathing is just as pure as the water you drink from the kitchen tap. All systems, including the air conditioning and pool, are regularly serviced to ensure their smooth functioning.
Things to note:
You may notice an “additional guests” fee when you book this property. That is due to the fact that the entire house costs $350/night to rent at full capacity (8 guests). Because 2-guest bookings are common, the base nightly rate has been set at $200 on average, with each additional guest being charged at $35/night so that the 2-people bookings wouldn’t be penalized with a higher base nightly rate. If you add guests after booking the property, please contact the host so that payment arrangements can be made.
Pool and hot tub:
The pool is 30,000 gallons and it takes at least 3 days of 8 hours per day pump time with the heater on to heat up (depending on ambient temperature). Please let me know how many days of 8 hour run time you would like to pay for prior to your arrival. You will be charged $15/day during your stay if you choose to have the pool heated because the heater run time cannot be changed once you have arrived. The hot tub costs $15/day. The hot tub is emptied between guests when there is space between bookings so as to keep the water as clean as possible. Use of the hot tub is not included in the nightly rate and its use must be requested and paid for at the time of booking in order to ensure that it is filled and heated by check in time. If yours is a last minute booking (within 48 hours), the hot tub may not be hot by the time of check in.

My husband and i came from VA to spend time near our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Port Charlotte.
This home was great for our family gatherings. We spent a lot of time in the headed pool. The smaller children enjoyed the swings. The neighborhood was real peaceful and convenient to anything we needed. Our host was very responsive to our requests. We would definitely like to come back here.

My family and I had the pleasure staying in Carla’s beautiful home. I actually did a Mother’s Day photo shoot with my children while we stayed. I had to, I mean you see the pictures it really is a lovely place. It’s spacious, clean & has a fabulous outdoor area with a variety of things to keep kids entertained. Baby essentials such as a tub, walker, travel crib, high chair, & toys were a blessing to have available for my 8 month old.
My favorite place to relax was the hanging cage on the back patio, cozy area to meditate or just be. The neighborhood is friendly but quiet & conveniently near town markets & restaurants.
Carla was incredibly friendly & accommodating! I would definitely recommend having your own slice of paradise experience right here.
I’d return hands down.

This is a beautiful property with a great owner! You can tell she truly cares about the home and loves to host. We were visiting for business so we did not explore the area very much, but she offered to help us find the best places around. The shaded playground was perfect for a little one to get outside!

Looks really great and same as pictures. Problem is….
Are stay was ok, problem was there is no extra lock at the door so anyone can come in if you are not notified from the host. Pool had a lot of small bugs even though they told us it was cleaned and heated with a fee. Woke up the next morning and had to remove 4 baby snakes so before we can use it again. Hot tube was nice if it actually reached the temperature you set it too. Seemed like it stayed a certain temperature even though you try to set it higher. It was really nice but alot of not working stuff for night and instead of relaxing for a day had to do some work. Refrigerator was broken also but they had and extra one you just need to go into the garage to pug it in and use it

Great family home
Our second time back to this home and it did not disappoint. Carla is a fantastic host. Always quick to respond and always friendly. House is perfect for young children. Our 3 and 5 year old loved the playground and pool. 30-40 minute drive to manasota key or englewood for good beaches, but we didn’t mind the drive. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful place!
We rented this home for only a few days, but enjoyed every minute of it. The hot tub is in a covered area, so if you get any rain you can still enjoy sitting in the hot tub. Our boys (4.5 and almost 3) loved finding the kids toys in the bedroom, by the pool and out by the swing set, which they also thoroughly enjoyed! All-around great place, and Carla was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend, and we’ll be back ourselves :-)

Unique Florida Property
What a wonderful and unique Florida property! My wife and I loved the Victorian and equestrian decor … not something you’ll see very often in a Florida rental. The home is spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances. The pool is large … my grandkids just loved it. And Carla is one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered., extremely responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!.

What a wonderful place
My wife and I spent the entire month of February in this home. It was perfect for us. Our grown children came to visit during our time there. Our youngest grandchild - 7yrs old spent hours in the pool and enjoyed the playground. We never had more than 4 adults, including us, at a time in the home and space was great.
We have stayed at a number of VRBO premier homes and this one did not disappoint. Of all of the homes and neighborhoods that we have stayed in this was the quietest. As with any home there were a couple of requests that I made to Carla, and she is amazing, almost immediate replies from her, and all requests fulfilled.
The first week we were there it was cool, so I did pay to heat the pool. This is to be expected from any VRBO so it was no big deal and was worth it.
The comments that I look for in a review of a property is - would the reviewer stay there again- and in our case yes, we would.

Beautiful house
The house is beautiful and just as described. Kitchen was great and had all the essentials. Pool was definitely cold even with the heater but that's expected this time of year. Good location inconvenient to grocery stores and restaurants and of course the beach. Would definitely stay here again and maybe next time bring the kids. Carla was easy to get ahold of and very responsive.

Fantastic Stay
Thanks Carla for an amazing house for our family vacation! Having the gate around the pool was a must for us. We loved spending time in the pool and hot tub. Our little one enjoyed the swings and slide. Carla was very responsive to the several questions before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything you would want in a place!
This house was amazing. It's exactly what you see in the pictures. It's a paradise away from it all. Private pool was awesome and the bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept it. The host was tremendously responsive in everything. Would totally stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this home.
The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. We were able to easily entertain local family and enjoyed the open concept kitchen/living room and pool area. The home needs some repairs and updates as many rental homes do after some time in the business. The owner was very attentive and specific with instructions for the property.

Father’s Day Weekend Away
We just wanted a quiet get away for the weekend to enjoy the family. This home was perfect. Quiet neighborhood, lots of fun in the pool for the kids and just all together a wonderful place for our get away. We use Vrbo often and this is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home. (I LOVE the pillows in the master bedroom)

Can not say enough good things about this property. 5 stars from the booking, communication from owner, location, and house. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty for the children to stay occupied. Our kiddos loved the pool. My favorite was the master bath. This property is so kid friendly. Even for babies!!! Thank you so much for such a great stay.

What a beautiful home
Me and a friend made a stop in port Charlotte for the night and had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful house. We spent half the time just wandering around the house and admiring the beautiful paintings and decor. Carla was very helpful and quick to communicate. I highly recommend!

Gorgeous home
This home is the perfect home away from home. It is beautiful. My 7 year old loved the playset and pool in the fenced in backyard. The host is amazing and answered all of our questions quickly. My daughter even had questions about her horse pictures and she took the time to respond to her in detail.

Wedding stay
We stayed at the property for a friend's wedding about 20 minutes away. The location is good with food and stores nearby. The host is awesome and stayed in contact and responded quickly to anything I asked her. The house was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Perfect stay at a great property
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is exactly as described and pictured. It’s a great house, very roomy with plenty of space for everyone. The master suite and bath are amazing!! The pool and hot tub were so nice to have, and the outdoor seating space was perfect for quiet breakfasts and evening cocktails. We definitely hope to return!! Thanks so much!

I paid additional fees for the pool and hot tub heater for 6 days. The pool was still cold upon arrival and for the first 3 days. After contacting the owner, she said I could pay an additional fee for the heater to run from 8am-8pm. It was only set to run between 9am-5pm. On the 4th day of 6, the pool was finally at a desired temp. Also, I'm unsure why there is a fee to warm a "hot tub"? Kitchen ware is very minimal. I planned to cook a big meal for Easter but there were not enough pots and pans to accommodate my needs.

Fantastic Family Location
If you have young children, this is the place for you! The pool, playground, sand toys, space...just perfect! Carla is an amazing host who is SUPER responsive. When we arrived at 11pm we discovered the pack and play had not been left out. We began to panic as our 2 year old would not be able to sleep in a bed, but, even at this late hour, Carla came through and took care of us! Seriously, she is the best host!
The location is perfect for getting around. You can have your Walmart groceries delivered from the Kings Highway location (super awesome so that you can enjoy every minute of the sun!). We drove down to Englewood Beach and Fort Meyers Beach. Both were easily drivable. We also loved exploring downtown Punta Gorda, which was only 10 minutes from the house. Full of shops and restaurants. Port Charlotte Beach was a perfect evening spot to let the kids run and play and comb the beach.
I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for some quality time as a family! Thanks again, Carla!

Great time at the equestrian retreat
This property is great. Everything that you’ll need and proximity to anything that you might have forgotten. Carla was a great host and your family will love the pool and activities. Neighborhood seemed nice and quiet and very inviting. Looking forward to next year!!

Great Location
This house was centrally located. The grocery store was close as well as other major retailers and restaurants. Carla was very responsive and made great area recommendations. The pool was a huge hit with my daughters, as well are the play area.

Perfect house for a family with kids!
My husband and I brought our 2 kids (ages 8 & 11), plus grandma to Florida for spring break. The house was setup perfectly for us, we took the beautiful master, my mom took the 2nd king bed room (both king bed rooms open to the pool), and our kids enjoyed the room already setup for 2 kids with twin beds, decor and toys.
We paid the daily charge to have the pool heated and it was perfectly warm. My kids used it multiple times every day. We took down the pool safety net during our stay since it opens up the patio more and our kids are older and good swimmers. My mom enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the kids swim while sitting in the shaded (covered) section of the patio. Every rear window of the house has a great view of the pool. When not swimming we enjoyed watching Netflix on the TV’s and trying out the local restaurants.

Great house
We (me,my wife and 2 kids (1/3) stayed in this house for 16 days. We had a great time. The owner took a lot of time to tell us what is great in the environment. We had a couple of small things missing in the house and the owner solved everything immediately. My kids especially loved the pool and hot tub and of course the playground. Also there were a lot of toys laying around. My kids loved that and it saved us from bringing them with us in the plane.
I would surely recommend this house.

Home away from home
This home was just what my family needed when we went on vacation. We were able to stretch out. Everyone had their own space, but we were also able to come together in the beautiful pool area and create some wonderful family memories. We cannot wait to return and will be staying again at this home away from home.
